Its the same format as AI and if not AI an anti-SDA site- why don't you post your resources? Jesus made it sound like He would come back at any moment- is He also a false prophet

Changing the subject to try and make things personal. Childish tactic and very worn out in this thread

If I said I don't use AI, then I don't use AI. Period. It's a very big internet. Perhaps get your head out of SDA doctrine and look around.

Perhaps He is false to you since you misquote Him so often.

As it is, Jesus said NO ONE knows the hour of His return. Just another false representation of Jesus by SDA
So show once where I misquoted Jesus. Its easy to make accusations, not so easy to prove.

And another misrepresentation, I never said anyone would know the hour of His return, but did He not teach His own return would be soon? Did He not Himself teach to watch for the sign of His return and what would be happening in the world? You twist everything around and this is not fruitful. I am going to leave you with your hate and will pray for your heart.

I will only respond if you can find one quote from me, where I misquoted Jesus. Otherwise its just another false accusations and that does not do well with our LORD.

Take care.

Did Jesus give a date or did He say only the Father knew? In Matthew 24:36, He specifically said no one knows the day or the hour, so anyone building a ministry around a date like 1844 is already contradicting Him and claiming to know more than the Son of God. Jesus didn't give a failed date and then have to un-prophesy it later; He taught us to be ready as a lifestyle. If your blueprint depends on explaining away failed dates and closed doors of mercy, you are following a man-made system instead of the Shepherd.

EGW never gave a date to Christ's second coming. Not once, only that it would be near, just as Jesus taught.

Jesus is LORD of the Sabbath, someone else lords the first day. He said His sheep hears Him and follows Him, He said to worship Him, because He is our Creator Rev14:7 Exo20:11 Col1:16 and serve Him and join ourselves to Him invited to everyone Isa56:6 but many choose someone else to shepherd them. I am confident in who I follow and which voice I listen to. You can't gaslight me and try to make me claim I beleive something that i don't. I am not interested in games, if you want to prove whatever it is you are trying to, show it by evidence, otherwise I am going to move on.
Oh, so when you asked for clarification it was a game? I did wonder. I mean, there has been one topic
we were discussing and you asked what it was as if you did not know. Still, your claim was that our
(you really should have said YOUR) heart has not changed. Then when I asserted the truth of the matter
according to Scripture, you contradicted what you originally said. I don't blame you for playing dumb.

I asked to show this by my posts, I don't see any contradictions so would have no idea what you're speaking of, Just quote me that's what someone should do if making an accusation against another, show actual evidence, that's all I was asking and still have not seen it.

If the Son has ALL authority and says His new commandment is Love,

Yes ! The New Covenant is about a heart "transplant" to the Character of Jesus ( His Righteousness of obedience to the Father.).. We adopt by Faith the Righteousness of Christ, by the New Covenant, an agreement to believe and follow our Lord, by Love this will be evident by our receiving the Holy Spirit, and faithfully the sanctification process will transform our hearts, to Love God & our neighbors, These actions and words of Love will be the fruits of the Spirit, acts of obedience to God and our neighbors.
Loving God by the first 4 Commandments and Loving our neighbors by the last six.

You must be forgetting that I've already given you this Biblical scriptural proof of this.
Here it is again to refresh your memory.
It's hard for you to ignore verses like
  • Ecclesiastes 12:13 – “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” ....
Yet you do ... which harmonizes with Revelation 14:6 ... " Fear God and give Him Glory' ... rather than believing the father of lies.

~~ The New Covenant Still Requires Obedience to God ~~

The New Covenant, while distinct in some respects from the Old Covenant, does not nullify the need for obedience. Instead, it establishes a deeper, more intimate ( Loving ) relationship with God, centered on faith, grace, and the work of the Holy Spirit.
  • Hebrews 8:10 – “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.”
  • Jeremiah 31:33 – “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
Explanation:
In the New Covenant, the law of God—which includes moral commandments such as the Ten Commandments—remains central, but instead of being written on tablets of stone, it is now written on the hearts and minds of believers. This transformation means that God’s law is internalized through the power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, obedience to God is not about legalism, but about a heart that desires to follow God’s will out of love and gratitude.

2. Obedience is a Fruit of Faith in Christ

The New Covenant empowers believers to obey God through faith, but it is important to emphasize that obedience does not earn salvation—it is the result of having received the righteousness of Christ through faith.

Romans 1:5“By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name.”

  • Romans 16:26 – “But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.”
  • John 14:15 – “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
  • John 15:10 – “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.”
Explanation:
The New Covenant calls us to obedience—but this obedience is rooted in faith in Christ, not in self-effort or legalistic rule-keeping. Faith and obedience go hand in hand. As we believe in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us, our love for Him compels us to keep His commandments. Obedience is a response to God’s grace, not a way to earn it.

3. Righteousness of Christ is Received by Faith

In the New Covenant, the righteousness of Christ is imputed to believers through faith. This means that our obedience is empowered by the righteousness Christ gives us, and through this righteousness, we are able to fear God and give Him glory.

Romans 3:21-22 – “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.”
  • Romans 5:19 – “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”
  • Philippians 3:9 – “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”
Explanation:
The righteousness of Christ is what enables believers to stand before God with confidence, for it is not our own righteousness that saves us, but Christ’s perfect obedience. As we receive His righteousness by faith, we are empowered to obey God’s commandments, and this obedience becomes the fruit of the righteousness of Christ working in us.

4. The Fear of God and Giving Him Glory (Revelation 14:7)

The call to fear God and give Him glory is not a command to live in terror of God, but to have a reverent awe and deep respect for His holiness, justice, and love. This is the essence of true worship in the last days.

Revelation 14:7 – “Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”
  • Ecclesiastes 12:13 – “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
Explanation:
The fear of God, in the context of Revelation 14:7, is not about fearing punishment, but about reverencing His sovereignty and worshipping Him in obedience to His commandments. As we obey God by faith, we demonstrate our fear of Him—we acknowledge His rightful authority over our lives. This obedience to His Word is what gives glory to God because it reflects His character in us.

Conclusion:

In the New Covenant, obedience to God remains crucial, but it is rooted in faith—faith in Christ’s sacrifice and His righteousness imputed to us. Obedience is not a burden, but a natural result of a heart transformed by the Holy Spirit.

In Revelation 14:7, the call to fear God and give Him glory is a call to obedient worship—worship that acknowledges His sovereignty, trusts in His righteousness, and follows His commandments out of love. The righteousness of Christ is the power that enables us to live in obedience, not through our strength, but through faith in His saving grace.

Yes it does Jesus said it plainly- your argument is with a much Higher Authority.

There is the law of Moses and the law of God the Ten Commandments. Which law did Jesus state plainly not a jot or tittle can pass from- the law inside the ark of the covenant in heaven Rev11:19 written by God or the ones written by man outside the ark. Sadly I do not understand why this is even an argument- its really with Jesus Himself.

What law was Jesus predicted to end? Lets let Scripture interpret Scripture

Dan 9:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.

Jesus fulfilled this perfect by His death Heb10:1-10

So the law that not a jot or tittle can pass from can't be from all of the Torah.

So what's left? The Ten Commandments the Testimony of God Exo31:18 the works of God Exo32:16

What opposite prediction that Jesus came to fulfill that not a jot or tittle can pass from?

Isa 42:21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

So the law that He said not a jot or tittle can pass from until both heaven and earth pass and ALL is fulfilled is the one He magnified- which law is that -we see He quoted in this very passage.

The law after He said whoever breaks the least of these commandments will be least in heaven (i.e. not there and He tells us why in this very passage)

He quoted from the Ten Commandments and related committing murder with the thoughts that lead to breaking this commandment- anger in the heart- magnifying His law and fulling His promise relating lust with the commandment to commit adultery why He said plainly whoever breaks or teaches to break such as the 4th commandments one will be least in heaven- Jesus Himself related this entire passage to heaven not the Cross and said why......in doing so breaking the least of these commandments one will be subject to sin and judgement which has not happened according to Jesus own testimony John12:28 James 2:10-12

So according to you Jesus came to destroy them despite He saying the opposite Mat5:17

The Ten Commandments is not the Levitical law- its the law of God Exo20:6 Deut4:13 again your argument is with a much Higher Authority- its the Testimony of God Exo31:18 the work of God Exo32:16 where no more was added to them Deut5:22 why are you adding something that God did not- His spoken will and Testimony. I don't think you realize this but you are speaking for God and He told us plainly not to Pro30:5-6

I do take it seriously in the context that most don't read and look at. Why did the priesthood law have to change? What tribe did the law require the priesthood to come from? What tribe did Jesus come from? Why this law the priesthood had to change all stated plainly so we don't have to add what we want it to say instead of allowing the Scripture to interpret Scripture.

I agree that Jesus plainly does not teach your interpretation.
The law of Moses/Torah included the Decalogue.
God's law was changed to the Gospel by Jesus' fulfillment of the OC.
I agree with letting Scripture interpret Scripture, because Truth must harmonize.
Dan. 9:27 refers to the sacrifices and offerings of the Torah.
The astute reader will note that you interpret the NT/Gospel in light of the OC/Law,
which is wrong per NT Scripture you ignore, such as Heb. 7:11-10:1.
The Decalogue was part of the Levitical law, but the NT describes all except #4 as fruit of the Spirit.
The priesthood had to change because only Messiah was qualified to atone for humanity's sins.
The Levitical laws were intended to separate the Jews from the Gentiles until the advent of Messiah,
which inaugurated the age of the Spirit and Church for all (Gal. 3:28).

I don’t need your Ivor Myers view of scripture. I don’t need your math equation when I have an actual relationship with the King of Kings. When are you gonna stop trying to be Jesus—which we aren’t called to do—and start trying to follow Him—which we are called to do? Jesus followed the Father’s law and fulfilled it, aka brought it to its intended completion. We are to follow the Son’s law, aka the law of love. Not once did Jesus tell us to follow the Father’s commandments as He did. The Father specifically told us to listen to the Son. The Son is the King. The Son has ALL authority. The Son gave us a new commandment. Take your Ivor Myers lenses off and see the truth.

Well God will be the one deciding if we can forget the only commandment He said Remember, that came with His power of Blessings Exo20:11 Isa56:2 and Sanctification Gen2:3 Eze20:13, because we can't do this ourselves Isa66:17 I believe He made Himself abundantly clear but in the end it will be up to God. Disobeying this commandment never worked out well for one person in the OT Eze20:13 Eze20:15-16 it kept an entire generation out of their promised rest and we are told plainly in the NT not to harden our heart as they did Heb3:7-19 not to follow in their same example of disobedience to enter ours Heb4:11 Guess we shall see at His soon return- He will be the one to sort all of this out. Mat7:21-23

The fruit of the Holy Spirit IS our obedience, to the Will of the Father, as Christ showed us.
without obedience, there are no fruits of the Holy Spirit
without a person showing fruits, there is no evidence of indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit can & will only "fruit" obedience, which is the Character of Christ and His Righteousness.
The Holy Spirit is Perfection, Love, obedience to the Father's WILL, as Jesus was & IS NOW ! ... and forever shall be.

Come on !! Inquisitor! You can realize this ! The Holy Spirit is THE Spirit of Christ !!! Christ always did the Will of the Father. ( His Law )
Jesus, ALWAYS has the character of His Father, which is exemplified by His Commandments of Love, Love for Father God, the first 4 commandments, and love for our neighbors, the last 6 commandments. ( Matthew 22:37 ) Jesus and the The Father are one, one mind, of one accord, ALWAYS ! in harmony, synchronized in Love, synchronized in obedience, in no wise is there ANY disobedience, by Christ to His Father, EVER !

If you have the Holy Spirit IN YOU, Christ's Spirit, it will be evidenced by you being obedient & righteous, Christ being IN YOU, Gal 2:20
obedient = Righteous = the "right doing of Christ" manifesting thru you to the world. ( being an ambassador & disciple of Christ )
This is VERY simple logic (reasoning) very simple math, ( a=c. b=c :: a=b , a=b=c )

So ! From our many conversations, were you proclaim promote and teach, your misunderstandings, disobedience and un-righteousness, you are not exhibiting ( bearing fruit ) of the Holy Spirit of Christ.
By your teaching & preaching this Religion of Disobedience, and calling yourself Christian, this makes you a False Prophet, which I'm obligated by God, to expose and reprove, and to warn. Revelation 14:6-12

Please, Inquisitor, repent , and be baptized into a newness of life, into obedience to the God of Heaven, a new man ... come over to the winning side, in this battle for the souls of men, between Christ and His Angel and Satan and His Angles. I pray, Amen !

Acts 2:38

Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, ( Disobedience ) and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." ( Reformation & Revival ) = ( Who will justify you & help you remain obedient, by faith and prayer )
"The Just shall live by Faith"

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ~~ Blessings ~~ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The fruit of the Holy Spirit is shown below.

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control;
against such things there is no law.

You said the fruit of the Holy Spirit is our obedience to the will of the Father.

We have a serious standoff regarding the definition, the usage of the phrase 'fruit of the Spirit'.

I would request that you avoid using a traditional interpretation of the text.

Stick with the natural reading of the text.

Baloney. As I showed in my thread, with clear source material, White was obssessed with trying to pinpoint when Jesus would return.

You denying it makes no difference. People around here during her lifetime often pointed out the craziness of her visions and prophecies and she responded at one point by saying those people would worship at the feet of SDA members. She did call herself God's messenger after all.

All of that is documented, written down and the date provided. Your own handling of the doctrines of SDA and the way you avoid questions and deny saying what you plainly did say, the way you try to gaslight people...ALL of that is typical of the way the truth is avoided by SDA adherents, who, espouse the false teachings of White.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit IS our obedience, to the Will of the Father, as Christ showed us.
without obedience, there are no fruits of the Holy Spirit

That is not the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Inquisitor already listed what it really is Rob, and since that came directly from scripture, you must be wrong. Yes, you are wrong.

We all do, we are all very passionate about our beliefs and what you hit on is what I have been praying for. We need to stay strong in our beliefs in what God said, the way Jesus would want us to. The apotles did everything with a loving heart, but the word of God is a double edge sword- its best to let the Scriptures do the cutting not us. God bless!

The problem is though, that you stay strong in the teachings of Ellen White who founded a cult and told people her visions and prophecies were what they needed to follow. The Bible took 2nd place to her and not even a close 2nd place.

You will not find that in any of her teachings she consistently said that everything must be reconcilled with God’s word- He always came first. You don’t know her or what was in her heart, or the millions of people you condemned that you haven’t a clue what they do or think or how they spend their time, these types of accusations are usually more revealing about the person making them than anything and where they are in their spiritual walk, God know it all and nothing you or I or EGW will be able to get away with anything. Anyone who reads her books will see plainly how much she loved and served the LORD. You are free to judge her all you want if that makes you feel better, but its not going to change God’s commandments and His standard of righteousness which God said includes His Sabbath Isa56:1-2 we will all have to stand before Him soon based on His standard of righteousness and every false accusation we make against another and everything we teach we will all be accountable to God. Mat5:19 Ecc12:13-14. I will keep you in my prayers.

The devil is really angry with the people of God who keep the commandments of God and the faith and testimony of Jesus. I guess we will all need to decide which side of the battle we are on. We can see the anger in these posts so we know it’s making someone really angry. I would rather have the wrath of the devil now, than God later Heb10:26-30

Rev12:17And the dragon was enraged with the woman (God’s church), and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

There is a spirit out there who doesn’t want us to serve the LORD Isa56:6 and keep His commandments. If it is making the devil angry praise be to the LORD!

You are right that Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord and read them to the people and sealed the covenant with blood. Nobody is dismissing that. It happened and it matters.

But here is what you cannot simply step around. What happened immediately after Exodus 24 changes everything. While Moses was on the mountain the people built a golden calf, worshipped it and descended into complete moral collapse at the very foot of the mountain where God had just spoken to them directly. (Exodus 32:1-6). That rebellion changed what came next permanently.
Glad you agreed that Exodus 24 and Exodus34 is the same covenant.

I don't see any change to the ten commandments?

They are the same commandments given to Israel and to no other nation.

The ten commandments were given to Israel at Mt Sinai and only to Israel.

The ten commandments were not given to Egypt or Rome.

Israel was in a blood covenant to obey the spoken ten commandments (Exodus 24).

Do not say that any nation outside of Israel was in a blood covenant to obey those laws.

Ellen White committed plagiarism and that is well known; she was called a literary thief by the media.

Ellen White and her husband, James White, did accuse each other of trying to control one another
during a tumultuous period in their marriage in the 1870s. Their correspondence during this time
revealed significant marital tension, with both accusing the other of attempting to dominate.

God Himself saying the ten commandments are the Covenant, the rest of the law of Moses was added later and was Not placed in the Ark of the Covenant, onlt the Ten commandments ( yes I know about the manna jar and Aaron's staff) ..... we agree however that some terms to designate some part of the Law was man made. But beware putting them all in the same basket an calling it Law is just as bad. God made the distinction between the ten commandments and the rest of the Law not me. Do you want me to prove this to you again that God made this distinction? I have no problem explaining it in more detail.
No matter what you say or any traditional theologian might attempt to say.

The ten commandments were only given to Israel in a blood covenant.

Moses wrote the entire law (commandments, decrees) in one book of the covenant, in Exodus 24.

You must be in that old blood covenant to obey the law.

Same blood covenant repeated many times.

No distinction in Exodus 24 and Exodus 34.
