I've often wanted to make special request that @CarriePie resize her images to thumbnail size (for a better personal appreciation of them) but refrained because I didn't want to come across as critical and thereby discourage the sharing.:geek:

Yes, I can see the picture perfectly on my laptop... but when it first came up on my phone...

It definitely looked like a pile of feathers to me!!:ROFL:🐓🐥🐦🦃🐧🦅

Oh my goodness, when that picture first popped up on my phone, I thought the artichoke on the left was actually a small bird -- complete with feathers!!

I was like, "WOW, Carrie probably just hunted, prepped, and cooked a pigeon all by herself!!"

I was envisioning the local pigeon populations in parking lots suddenly becoming very nervous...

Obviously, I need stronger glasses!!
:LOL::geek:

Oh no! Now that's all I can see after you mentioned 😱

Eating BBQ Kitchen again. Catfish, mac & cheese, okra, sweet potato souffle, and cornbread. With a nice cold Colt 45 to wash it down.

No, I did not eat all of this!

What I ever I found around the kitchen..: broccoli, green beans, chickpeas with udon noodles, a bit of mayonnaise as a sauce, topped with turkey cold cuts (those were going to expire soon, otherwise would have been bacon..) and sesame seeds. This dish turned to be surprisingly good!

Scrolling through, catching up.
 I wonder why I am suddenly so hungry?

What's for dinner? I have no idea 🤷‍♀️
I think I have a pizza to cook up, might have to grab 1 more though...
Yup, they're on sale across the street. Definitely gonna be a frozen pizza night. 🍕

I was looking at Costco’s April catalog and they had a “deal” on a pack of three deep dish pizzas for like $98 plus a discount that brought it down into the $70’s.

Not sure if that is a deal or not.

The deep dish did look thick though.

Oh... that must be California prices.
Uhh, think I'll just stop at the convenance store across the street and get a thin crust for $6.99

I cannot wait to move from here.

Visiting Oklahoma in June most likely.

I wonder what the prices are going to be like but that is one of the things I’m looking forward to.

But you do defrost them, don't you? 😁
That depends on who is cooking it and how long from the time it's bought until it goes in the oven.
If I'm buying to cook that night, then yes, it will most likely be fully thawed, or at least partly thawed.
However, that means ignoring the cooking directions! Because those always say 'cook from frozen' and even if I do cook from frozen and follow those directions, we don't like how it turns out, so we just cook it with a watchful eye till it's how we like.

What I made for Easter weekend: Southern fried fish, rice dressing, asparagus (not pictured), deviled eggs, and old fashioned banana pudding with meringue 🤌

So does that mean, when you take it out of the freezer, do you eat it right away? 😂
Because that was actually my joking reference, but I’m not sure if you noticed it that way. So my question wasn’t quite complete and should have been: “But do you thaw it out, before you eat it?” 😂

However, that means ignoring the cooking directions! Because those always say 'cook from frozen' and even if I do cook from frozen and follow those directions, we don't like how it turns out, so we just cook it with a watchful eye till it's how we like.

Great, that's exactly how I do it too, because, yeah, the baking instructions are usually useless. (y)

Hmm... now I can just picture your family eating pizza... Something like that? :giggle:
