Exactly why they're reinterpretation is kind of hilarious.
It's not, it's definitely rabbits. What it is is that the more modern english translation translates stuff in a super weird way. Not a KJVOnlyist, but the benefit of the KJV is the words are kinda set in stone in that mode of English so you know definitevely what they mean. In a way the ESV is not wrong in a very abstract sort of way, but its like they translated rabbit in like a super sematic sort of way. The context makes it even more obvious that it is about rabbits because indeed badgers are known being super fierce and extremely determined animals that will literally fight things like hundreds of times its size. Rabbits are known for being skittish and feeble, very weak prey animal that everything eats, but Solomon juxtaposes their weakness and shyness with thei wisdom in making their homes among the rocks.
And it's called Easter instead of the Jewish Passover.
I sin daily just like you, I bet. I can admit it. I have the righteousness of Jesus Christ. That's my only way to the Father in heaven. Are you relying on your own righteousness?
Folklore & tradition. Some of us prefer Scripture without the seeping in of traditions and so do not accept such revisions.
Passover isn't the same as Easter. Passover is more akin to Good Friday and the crucifixion of Jesus for the atonement of sins (akin to how the lambs were slain for the angel of death to pass over the houses marked with the blood in the plague of the firstborn in the Exodus.) Easter is its own special day for Jesus' resurrection clearly proving him to be the Son of God, the way, the truth, and the life, both the resurrection and the firstfruits of it at the same time. It's merely a case of people are bent out over semantics and the word Easter was the old name of a month for a different culture. In fact calling the month Paschal isn't what the jews originally called it either lol they called that month Nisan. It's okay to call it Easter, it's okay to have easter egg hunts with your kids and all that, just remember the real point is the resurrection of Jesus, because there will be a resurrection in the future and you must believe in Jesus' resurrection to attain to it, thats like the whole point of the holiday itself. Praise Jesus.

The resurrection should be every first day of the week, not just one day out of the year.

Yes, and you know the distinction.
A. William Tyndale used the term Easter to make it a reference to looking back to the Risen Savior in the NT.
B. The Passover refers to the week that was celebrated.
The Bible refers sometimes to the week of unleavened bread while others to the first day.
Also some verses point to the OT celebration that was to be until Christ was offered THE LAMB of God without spot or blemish.
He and the other translators did not say Easter was pagan as the critics/ critical text people like to repeat..
For their much speaking they think they can make it so.
