As I mentioned in the breakfast thread, this wasn't from today (been busy and all that). I went to my fave Mexican restaurant shortly after I got to Oklahoma and had an amazing meal!! The owner of the place makes the blueberry cheesecake. Mercy, she's an amazing cook. Besides that I got the chori pollo meal. Always a good choice.

See, this is why I don't attempt much at cooking.

I am horrible at food intake regulation!!!

If it were me, that ENTIRE plate would be FILLED with lasagna -- forget the salad and vegetables, bah!!!

Kudos to all of you who make SCRUMPTIOUS-looking food -- and can stop after one reasonable serving!! 💪🏼

Trust me girl, this is my small plate... This time I divided the rest of the leftover lasagna, so I would not get too much each time.. and got lunch to bring to work for today.

But it is hard, especially if it is lasagna (hence I don't make it often), I even might fill my big plate with it (bit over 10 inches in size).. and if I don't fill it, then I'm going for seconds 🙈
So my servings aren't always the best either.. but if you go counting calories it feels like you can only eat one spoonfull of some food and it already has a ton of calories 😩 So better not count 'em! 😁

But luckily for me, I like salad too, it gives fresh element to it. 😃

I don't know what sizes ready meals (microwaveable) are in there, but in here some left me thinking: "is this supposed to fill me up!?"
The container can fit to my palm. I don't usually eat those, only when I am visiting my aunt, who really doesn't always like to cook 😆 We do eat bread with those small meals..

I don’t have a picture but I had Raising Canes for lunch. 4 chicken strips, 1 Texas toast, 1 coleslaw, crinkle French fries and a sweet tea.

I ate sooo pooröy last week, too much snacking, tried to compromise it a bit with my lunches...... but..
Butter fried 🙈 broccoli, sweet corn and a potato, scrambled eggs with blue cheese. Cucumber and pearl tomatoes.

Yeah, but it was tasty 😆

Are On+On for lunch.
It’s a Korean health bowl location.
I didn’t get a picture of it, but it sure was tasty.

I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

I took myself out to lunch yesterday and look at this smorgasbord I was served! Chicken fried steak with gravy, fries, and a salad. Actually this was from yesterday, but I was still eating leftovers today (two more meals were gained out of it)...

If working and not home, it would probably be a meat pie from the bakery, my favourite is potato top.
I like to have something hot as soggy sandwiches don't cut it, and waiting around for food at a cafe or restaurant can't be done if you only have 30 minutes.
If I have an hour like I did in one job then I might have a longer lunch.

Yesterday I was at home...mousetraps which is grilled egg and cheese on toast, I added mushrooms. I try to have some veges or greens with food even if it's just parsley or spring onions or a sprinkling of dried herbs.
