False. By the Messiah's own words to the Pharisees, this is false.
Lord Jesus did not look at the external obedience to the law. He looked at their heart attitudes. They tithed even the herbs that they grew.
How does it make sense to you to think that obedience to what God has commanded is not obedience to God and how does Matthew 19:17 make that clear?
Have you read Matthew 19:17? Obviously not. Unless you are a Jew, the law does not apply. God's law is indeed revealed to unbelievers, who live by conscience and the knowledge of right and wrong. However, they do not worship God on the sabbath or any other time. God's written law is for Israel. That is clear from the New Testament. Paul wrote extensively to refute your legalism.

Has your ever read Luke 14:26

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

So why was that?
The Lord is the focus of our love and then the love of others.

We even extend that love to our enemies let alone to our families.

Our families may well be the most difficult to deal with when they oppose our faith.

We love our family but that love is less than the love of our Lord.

In relative terms we place Jesus first then family second.

Our own lives are temporal and so are the lives of our family members.

What matters above everything else is that deep devotion to the Lord.

The 1st generation of the children of Israel were saved from the bondage of Egypt... but they all still died never receiving what was promised to them because they wouldn't obey in faith, and instead went around and around in circles for decades until they all perished.

This generation of children is no different. We keep going around and around in circles about the gift of salvation but never grow to receive the promises of Yah because we refuse the walk the path of sanctification, which is obedience to His commandments in faith.

Revelation 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

It's considered a patient endurance because it isn't easy to do, especially in a beast-led world that teaches us to do anything but.
Did the Lord make the covenant of the law at Mt Sinai with Israel or with the Gentile nations?

Has any one ever told you that love is a fruit of the Holy Spirit?
Indeed. The Law of Moses is God's instructions for how to embody God's character traits and God's character traits are the fruits of the Spirit, which is why the Spirit has the role of leading us to obey it. For example, everything in the Law of Moses is in regard to how to love God and our neighbor and love is one of the fruits of the Spirit. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact likeness of His character (Hebrews 1:3), which he embodied through His works by setting a sinless example for us to follow of how to walk in the Spirit/how to walk in obedience to the Law of Moses.

Matthew 19:17 was said to a man under the law when the new covenant was not yet in force
The New Covenant still involves obeying the Law of God (Jeremiah 31:33, Ezekiel 36:26-27). Those want nothing to do with obeying the Law of God also want nothing to to with the New Covenant.

So you hold to a two covenant reading of the scripture.

The old covenant (Exodus 24) which was a conditional covenant based on the book of the covenant.
Which was sprinkled with blood of a bull to seal Israel into that covenant.

The New Covenant is an unconditional covenant between Jesus and His Father. The New Covenant
was also sealed with the blood of Jesus Christ. A divine covenant.

Can you see the fulfillment of the old covenant by the New Covenant?

Most are blind and cannot distinguish the profound difference in these two covenants.

I was never under the law
If that were true, then you have never needed to repent from doing what it reveals to be sin, you have never needed salvation from sin, you have never needed the Gospel message, you have never needed to have faith, you have never needed grace, and you have never needed Jesus to have given himself to redeem us from all lawlessness. However, the reality is that God is sovereign, so we are all under His law and are obligated to refrain from doing what He has revealed to be sin.

How can a Gentile be under the law without living in Israel and getting circumcised?

That is what the law (God) tells us is the entry requirement for the old covenant.

I hope your not going to contradict the written words of God in the O.T?

Sorry, you loose

I perform the "deeds of the flesh" according to Paul.

Galatians 5:19-21
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery,
enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness,
carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those
who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God
.

Gentiles cannot use a statement such as "sin is lawlessness" because Gentiles were never in covenant
to obey the law.

I was not circumcised on the eighth day.

I was not raised under the law nor were the Romans and the Egyptians.

Poor Soyeong was dead in sin before she even thought about trying to obey the law.

That's the problem with the law; the law kills all of it's adherents.
I can't help but question intention sometimes and I hate to do that. Nobody can take me out of the Lord's hand. He saved me by grace and mercy. He put me flat on my back and I found myself in a His word over 10 years ago (I'm 65).

Surely you can see that God is not writing "do not covet your neighbor's oxen on your heart?".

Soyeong, what is God really going to write on our hearts and you don't need the scripture
to know this.

1 Thessalonians 4:9
Now as to the love of the brethren, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves
are taught by God to love one another.

Can you quote where the Bible states that the New Covenant fulfills the Mosaic Covenant? Or where the Bible speaks about the Mosaic Covenant as something that can be fulfilled? Or where the Bible states that the New Covenant is an unconditional covenant?

God's character traits are eternal, so there is a reality that is true about the way to embody God's character traits that was true before God made any covenants with man, which has been revealed through His covenants, and which is eternal and cumulatively true regardless of which covenant someone is under. For example, God's righteousness is eternal (Psalm 119:142), therefore all of God's righteous laws are also eternal (Psalms 119:160), so if anyone wants to know God through embodying His righteousness, then they will consider any instructions that God has ever done to be cumulatively valid regardless of which covenant they are under, if any. For example, being a doer of charity was a way to embody God's righteousness before God made any covenants with man, so that is an eternally valid way to know God and there could be never be a covenant where it is sinful to be a doer of charity.

The Bible can speak against Gentiles being required to become circumcised for incorrect reasons such as in order to become saved without speaking against being required to become circumcised for the reasons for why God commanded it, such as in order to eat of the Passover lamb (Exodus 12:48). Nothing in the NT should be interpreted as speaking against obeying the words of God or followed instead of the words of God.

In Matthew 4:15-23, Jesus began his ministry with the Gospel message to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand, which was a light to the Gentiles, and the Law of Moses was how his audience knew what sin is (Romans 3:20), so repenting from our disobedience to it is a central part of the Gospel of the Kingdom/Grace, so what do you think would be the point of spreading the Gospel as a light to Gentiles if Gentiles have no need to repent from doing what it reveals to be sin?

Poor Soyeong was dead in sin before she even thought about trying to obey the law.

That's the problem with the law; the law kills all of it's adherents.
In Romans 10:5-8, Paul referred to Deuteronomy 30 as the word of faith that we proclaim in regard to the righteousness that is by faith proclaiming that the Law of Moses is not too difficult for us to obey and that obedience to it brings life and a blessing while disobedience brings death and a curse, so choose life!

Why would there be an exception for that? Everything in the Law of Moses is either in regard to how to love God and our neighbor, which is why Jesus said in Matthew 22:36-40 that those are the greatest two commandments and that all of the other commandments hang on them, so the position that we should obey the greatest two commandments is also the position that we should obey the commandments that hang on them. Someone who was correctly living in obedience to the greatest two commandments would be indistinguishable from someone who was correctly living in obedience to the rest of the Mosaic Law because they would both be following the same example that Jesus set for us to follow.

Jesus saves us from our sin (Matthew 1:21) and sin is the transgression of the Law of God (1 John 3:4), so Jesus graciously teaching us to be a doer of it is intrinsically the way that he is giving us his gift of saving us from not being a doer of it. Why do you think that you need salvation from sin if you don't think that you need to refrain from doing what God has revealed to be sin?

I was baptized in water in 1970, Jesus baptized me and saved me 2015. Of course I hate sin. Everything (almost) I do in my life goes thru the word of God. When I do wrong, I hate it. I acknowledge it to him and He is faithful to CLEANSE me. I'm nowhere near the same man I was 10 years ago. But that has NOTHING to do with my works or the law. I'm saved by His grace and mercy. Jesus is the author and finisher, I'm just the clay. I'm saved by grace. And yes, Jesus saves us from our sin. If you struggle with it, He can and will help. Am I cleaner than I was 10 years ago? Yes Did I do it? No, Jesus did it. I'm just the clay, not a very good one, but none the less.

We need to be careful, Jesus saves. We are better off teaching faith in Jesus, not do this, don't do this. That said, there is a place for doctrine.
