The point of my recent posts has been that all of God's Prophets, throughout history, are proclaiming the necessity of .. Obedience to God and His Son, for our individual salvation...
ALL the earlier Prophets of God, ( including EGW ) have been hated and or killed for this same animosity, towards them by sin loving people, ( Satan believing and following people ) then and now.
Revelation 12:17, which states: "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, ( we, the Church ) and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
"I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. " Rev. 19:10 ( the SOP is what ALL Prophets of God have had, including EGW. )

As for there being prophets today, Scripture clearly suggests that there will be prophets because there will be prophecy.

Verse 12 states why Lord Jesus gave such ministers. It was to equip the saints and build up the body of Christ. What we see today in most fellowships is a paid professional who is contracted to live the Christian life for the people who fill up the pews. And that is part of the reason that the so-called church is such a mess.

The Message => Fear God ( BE OBEDIENT ) and give Him Glory, ( His due authority as the Creator God ) for the hour of His Judgment has come. Revelation 14:7

- Ezekiel 20:20 commands the people to "Keep My Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us, so that you may know that I am the LORD your God."
Jesus is the fulfillment of Israel's promises, and through faith in Him, all believers, both Jews and Gentiles, are united with Christ and become part of the spiritual Israel—the true Israel of God. This spiritual adoption is possible through faith in Jesus, repentance, and baptism, = OBEDIENCE, by LOVE, (not works), where believers receive the Holy Spirit, who works to transform them into the likeness of Christ. Gal 2:20 As Abraham’s seed, believers inherit the promises made to Israel, becoming part of God’s covenant people.
We are adopted in as "Children of Israel" by being in Jesus and He in us, Gal 2:20

Well there is the proof of your cessationism. I actually don't care whether or not you believe in what Paul writes concerning the gifts of the Spirit. There are far too many with an attitude like yours that think they know everything and they are the final word on everything.
What is actually failing, is your comprehension. That, and the fact you are way off topic but I noticed you have a habit of inserting yourself into threads and then trying to change the direction of it.
