So, the President is going to read to us from the Bible?

No one thinks questioning the war is TDS, but questioning enforcing laws concerning illegal immigration, or complaining when something good happens. There are those who without fail, every day, complain about something and blame Trump. That is TDS. I had issues with Joe Biden's presidency, but I didn't complain every day about everything and anything.

TDS is not a real thing nor is it a syndrome, just ridiculous. People have a very strong aversion to his style and leadership and that is all.

To label people with TDS using this "syndrome" language is to have a disparaging view of people who in fact do have mental health challenges which impair their ability to function fully in everyday life.

I suspect people who complain about DT a lot, are trying to snap MAGA people out of their state of denial.

Yep, kind of like labeling people who question Fauci as being "anti science"

So, didn't the Donald just read something from the Bible about being humble? Then he goes and posts something like this. Nice Donald, real sincere:

"As everyone knows, I am an extraordinarily brilliant person, and even I had no idea what the hell they were talking about in the Referendum, and neither do they!"

Original post: https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/116449559745815736

Once again he's crying about a lost election and claiming it was rigged. You really need to get some new material Donald. Everyone has seen your old stuff and simply don't care anymore.

Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee Of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving, scheduled for May 15. The name says it all. It's an event to "rededicate" the US as a Christian nation; or, as the Donald puts it, "We’re going to rededicate America as one nation under God." This is a little strange since the US was never dedicated as a Christian nation to begin with. If you look at all the people participating in the event, it doesn't bode well for what this "Christian nation" will probably look like.

Not the US, but the Mayflower compact dedicated the new land to Jesus Christ.

"From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brethren, this ought not to be so. Does a spring pour forth from the same opening fresh water and brackish? Can a fig tree, my brethren, yield olives, or a grapevine figs? No more can salt water yield fresh." (Jas 3:10-12, RSV)

If it weren't so sad, Trump reading the Bible in public is laughable!
This sounds like a step in a spiritual positive direction. In the bible it states that the Word of God will not return void. I am not a judge or a jury so I will not pass judgement but rather continue to pray for this man. Someone will benefit from the public reading of the bible. Perhaps Trump himself will. I will pray that this is so.

God absolutely allowed Trump to be president. God appoints all those that are in positions of authority. I fully concur with your estimate.

Did God appoint Joseph Stalin as well, or does this only apply to the USA?

God has appointed everyone in positions of authority in history in the entire world, including Stalin. Hitler too. And that dictator in North Korea. Oh yeah, Putin. Nothing happens by chance with God.

Absolute divine determinism makes God the author of evil, I will pass.
That is poor understanding that particular text also and its consequence is human moral apathy.

Isaiah 45:5-8
King James Version
5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.
8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it.

Not to mention, on the more positive end of that spectrum, , I think its worth noting what's rarely covered for all aspiring politicians about the scrutiny they are about to subject themselves to. We do much to much shooting ourselves in the foot for disenfranchising a whole crop of those who have past dirt in their closets. For a Christian to rise through the ashes with a stellar outcome is due too him being forgiven, but somehow not for the Christian office-holder?

", , her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little, loves little.” (Lk 7:47)

Go to the original language, the context and the meaning of the text... "calamity"

This is not a statement regarding God's moral goodness which scripture makes clear in many other places but rather juxtaposing opposites to demonstrate His supremacy, this does not mean He is some type of control freak.

I'll stickl with the KJV since the are NO originals left. He said there wouldn't be, but he promised to preserve it. God bless

I prefer to actually understand the meaning of the text in context and keep a coherent/consistent view, there are many scriptures which proclaim the goodness of God, I prefer to not hold contradictory views about God who declares He is Love, people seem to struggle with this declaration they prefer the dual God of evil and good.

Seems like Freemasonry to me.

God bless.

Not sure I'd use the word appointed. But God allows people to come to power. He builds up kingdoms and takes them down according to His will.

Badly translated, God is the author of good not evil. Going to have to break down and agree with HeIsHere on this one.
