While Jesus was in the flesh, He was still God Almighty.
Your looking at Jesus from the viewpoint of the flesh, have another look.
Jesus became one of us to accomplish the sacrifice of Himself.

Jesus was the Creator, then Jesus took on our human form, then Jesus went back to sit on the throne.
Jesus was from above, a very special man. Jesus was not the offspring of a human union, that is heresy.
Jesus had only one Father and that father was not Joseph.
God as far as I know and read will never go against mans will. So we have to back up 2 thess 2:9 "The coming of the [Antichrist, the lawless] one is through the activity of Satan, [attended] with great power [all kinds of counterfeit miracles] and [deceptive] signs and false wonders [all of them lies], and by unlimited seduction to evil and with all the deception of wickedness for those who are perishing, because they did not welcome the love of the truth [of the gospel] so as to be saved [they were spiritually blind, and rejected the truth that would have saved them]. , Because of this God will send upon them a misleading influence, [an activity of error and deception] so they will believe the lie, "
2nd Thess 2:11starts with "for this reason" meaning something came before it. Then after 11 starts with "in order that".. it keeps going.
So.... no far as I read and understand its not some "Christian group" you personally don't agree with don't like. Oh man this happens with "sheep and goats" Its always that "other" Christian "other" group that's wrong not you and me huh .. ouch.

Inquisitor seems to be denying Christ's present humanity, but affirming His present deity,
No, actually I'm not... I never said He was not God.
He is in fact God's Word and He is a man all at the same time.
So both are true... He is God, and He is a man.
Actually, He is sitting at the right hand of the Father... the Father sits on the throne.
And, Jesus is still man man which being God's Word as He is still in His gloried body which is the kind of body true Christians will be getting when our flesh is raised from the dead.
Jesus is both God... and man... at the same time.
God has to end sin on earth one day.
So He is giving the world 7 years to have their way to rebel against the truth.
For He will not give up on the world until they give up on Him.
Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
The antichrist will negotiate peace in the Middle East resulting in a 7 years peace treaty that will affect the world as they come together to work for peace on earth.
He will push his agenda for 3.5 years which he will be of the occult believing he will evolve to be greater than Jesus and the next world teacher.
He will have much influence and become the biggest player on the world scene.
The world will be divided in to 10 sections with a leader in each section in league with him.
The Roman Empire does not lose their dominion until Jesus puts down the world.
The New Age Christ will be of the new age and the Pope and Vatican will be given over to the new age christianity which interprets all religions the same adding support to the antichrist.
During the first 3.5 years salvation is still available to the world.
Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
At the end of the 3.5 years the transgressors have come to the full and war will break out in heaven and the devils are cast to earth where it becomes their holding cell.
Satan will take over the antichrist and will claim to be God and savior by gaining power from the God of forces the power of the Cosmos.
God will send strong delusion to all people who do not love the truth which the devils will deceive all people who do not love the truth to follow the antichrist.
Babylon will never have physical dominion again but her ways are still on earth.
So the beast kingdom is Babylon in spirit which she represents human religion, the occult, and the kingdom of man which is what the beast kingdom is about.
The teaching includes the following, that those who have chosen evil over good would be the believers of lies, (paraphrased with understanding.)
Noooo ! It is never too late ! Is the Lord's arm weak that it cannot save ? As long as we have breath in our bodies we can turn from evil to face our Redeemer . We should never give up hope , saying it's too late is giving up hope ! Hope for ourselves , hope for all and everyone . As long as there is life there is hope .
How far did Saul descend once he knew that God had left him ? What did God Himself say about Saul ? Read 2nd Samuel chapter 7 , verses 12-15 ! Psalm 136 ! It's never too late for any one , saying that gives us the right to condemn others while they r still alive and we don't have that right ! Every atheist and idolator is a potential Christian and that's how we must treat them .
Since the Greek says 2:11 καὶ διὰ τοῦτο πέμψει αὐτοῖς ὁ θεὸς ἐνέργειαν πλάνης εἰς τὸ πιστεῦσαι αὐτοὺς τῷ ψεύδε
"and through/because of this God shall send to them a strong delusion for them to believe THE LIE"
What was the lie? Gen 3. "God knows that if you disobey God, you will not die but you will be like gods and your eyes will be opened to decide for yourselves what is good and evil."
The lie Paul also warned about in Romans 8
Rom 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
The false prophet and man of sin will do signs that convince people that these two have become gods, and will convince them that, by not following Jesus, but following those two, you can all also become gods and do amazing things like us.
The strong delusion is postmodernism: the belief that there is no such thing as objective truth. We are living under that delusion today. As Paul predicted, this delusion has led to all sorts of wickedness.
Did you notice the world's reaction to Covid 19? Was it a rational response? Did their behavior make sense?
There are many things a person can be delusional about; but the passage says they believed the lie because they didn't have a love for the truth. Delusion starts with not respecting or loving truth. If we love truth we aren't as likely to fall prey to strong delusion, in whatever form it takes.
