You people need to read exodus ch 16 to ch 20 .

16 v23 This is that which the LORD hath said , to morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD.
Verse 28 And the LORD said unto Moses , HOW LONG REFUSE YE TO KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS AND MY LAWS ? See the LORD hath given you the SABBATH.
Exodus 18 v 20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws , and shalt show them the way they must walk , and work that they must do .
There is more scriptures in these chapters. I must ask you people do you even read the Bible ? Or just use man made search engines to your deception ?
Pharisee asked Jesus which was the most important law ? Jesus quoted the first commandment. So it’s quite obvious that the commandments are in the order of Gods priorities. The Sabbath is 4th ! So don’t try to dismiss it as non essential. They all are important . If we honour the first Commandment the rest should get easier. 4th position is in the top half of Gods list of commandments. I encourage anyone to start keeping the Sabbath starting today ! And you can do it at home . Amen and God bless you !

Surely what Jesus gave was a summary of the Ten Commandments. The first of the ten as originally given, was:

(Exo 20:3 NKJV) "You shall have no other gods before Me.

What Jesus said was a summary of the first table of the law, those commandments that relate to man's relationship with God:

(Mar 12:30 NKJV) AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.' This is the first commandment.

This becomes even clearer when we read what Jesus described as the second:

(Mar 12:31) And the second, like it, is this: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

This is surely a summary of the second table, commandments 5-10, which refer to man's relationship with his fellow man.

The second commandment as given in Exodus 20 was:

(Exo 20:4) "You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
(Exo 20:5) you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
(Exo 20:6) but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

That is not correct.

The most important law is not the first commandment in the law.

Nor is the greatest commandment in the ten commandments.

Matthew 22:36-38
Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?
And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
This is the great and foremost commandment."

This is surely a summary of the second table, commandments 5-10, which refer to man's relationship with his fellow man.

The second commandment as given in Exodus 20 was:

(Exo 20:4) "You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
The two greatest commandments that Jesus quoted were a summary of the entire law and the prophets.

Certainly not a summary of just the first ten commandments in the law.

By the way, the law given to Moses was in a covenant between God and Israel (Exodus 24).

So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant, which
the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”

I think people will find any excuse to not follow God's laws. I agree that God gave it to His faithful and they shared it with the children. By the time we get to Ex 20 God needed to remind them of the principles of love and gave them the 10 commandments on stone so they would not forget them.

It is wrong to think that the principles and standards given in the 10 commandments did not exist before Sinai. God does not change His standards of right and wrong.

From Adam to the second comming the moral laws of liberty do not change. And God has revealed these laws by different means to those that are willing to hear.
Your wrong in every sentence you typed in your post.

The covenant law between Israel and God was not liberty as the apostles called it a yoke, a burden.

Gentiles were never in a blood covenant with God to obey the Mosaic law (Romans 9:4).

The first covenant established between God and Israel (Exodus 24) did not have stone tablets.

The first covenant established between God and Israel (Exodus 24) did not have the ark of the covenant.

God certainly does change His law and in a huge way.

1 John 3:23
This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another,
just as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this
that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us
.

To believe in the name of Jesus Christ is not written in the law.

To love others and even our enemies is also not written in the law.

God completely rewrote the two greatest commandments.

The two greatest commandments that Jesus quoted were a summary of the entire law and the prophets.

Yes, I agree that what Jesus said was a summary, not just of the Ten Commandments, but of the whole law of God. Nevertheless, because I was answering somebody who claimed that the Ten were given in order of importance. That was the context in which I said that loving God with all the heart, etc. summarised the first four of the ten, and loving one's neighbour as oneself summarised the remaining six.

I agree with the law being a covenant.

How about considering the fact that believers are living under a new covenant. I won't bother you with the truth. You will only find a way to deny it.
You must be a follower of Paul and his easily twisted words, I follow Jesus Christ my Passover, My Maker.

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Isaiah 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Christ came to magnify the Torah from only physical up to the Spiritual

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Has heaven and earth passed? Fulfilled does not mean end.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments,

and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:

but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

When you accuse me of being legalist, how do you ignore verse 19?

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

172 My tongue shall speak of YOUR WORD, For all YOUR Commandments are Righteousness

27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Christ magnified, expanded the 7th Commandment from only physical to spiritual

Jesus Christ obeyed the Torah and taught it and kept it without sin and I am supposed to ignore that fact.

Christ as recorded by Matthew instructed HIS disciples to follow Torah Law.

1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, are so called christians "disciples?"

2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

3 All herefore whatsoever they bid you observe, observe and do;

but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

"The Many" Christ accuses of iniquity which is Lawlessness and then says "I never knew you"

God completely rewrote the two greatest commandments.
I didn't mention the covenant once because our understanding of the covenant is different. Both new and old.

The royal law of liberty is not the same as the law of Moses.
We disagree about the laws and what they are. And for that reason we have different conclusions about which laws we should obey today.

I know you disagree but for others sake..

The moral laws of God do not change because they are a representation of God's character and God does not change. Evil does not become righteous and righteousness does not become evil.
The laws that were added because of sin, were to deal with the sin problems.
Offerings do not define sin.
These laws were a shadow of Christ's ministry or they were given to help the people deal with the problems of sin.

Sin is the transgression of the law so the laws that were added did not define sin.

2 different laws

One remains today unchanged.

One was a burden.
One was against the people.
One is called the law of liberty.
One is holy, just and good.
One is spiritual
One is kept by God's people at the end.
One was nailed to the cross.
One was abolished.

which laws are which? We do not agree so we have different conclusions.

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

In Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek. Galatians 3:28. And the Law STILL does not apply to gentiles. Do you think God in heaven is obeying the Law of Moses? Do you think Jesus has a day off every week from ruling and reigning?
In Christ what we are outwardly, Jew or Greek, means nothing. We become part of the family of Christ and grafted into the israelite family or adopted into Gods family.

Rom 2:28-29
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Quote the context.
Gal 3:26-29
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

abrahams seed makes us Jewish.

Eph 2:11-22
11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. ....
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

I do not see the word, "Jews".

our Maker states for the record; the 7th Day, the Sabbath was MADE for anthrópos #444: Man, human, person, mankind

will the clear words of our Maker change minds -- it has not to this day.

Here is one more thought:
29 And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

In regard to Mark 2:27, "the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath, so the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath," this statement was in response to the accusation by the Pharisees that His disciples were breaking the law regarding resting on the Sabbath while going through some fields and plucking heads of grain (Matthew 12:1-8; Mark 2:23-28; Luke 6:1-5).

Jesus responded by giving an example from the Old Testament that David was once in need of food and was given consecrated bread that was only lawful for the priests to eat (1 Samuel 21:1-6). The bread served a practical need for David and his followers, just as with Jesus and His disciples, the grain served a practical need. David and his men were not acting sinfully in eating the showbread, and neither were Jesus’ disciples acting sinfully in plucking heads of grain on the Sabbath. Jesus concludes, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath." Jesus' response to the accusing Pharisees contains important teachings.

The Sabbath was intended to help people, not burden them. In contrast with the daily hard work as slaves in Egypt, the Israelites were commanded to take a day of rest each week under the Mosaic Law. The Pharisees had turned the Sabbath into a burden, adding restrictions beyond what God's law said. (Misguided teachers of the law today turn keeping the Sabbath day into a legalistic prescription for salvation) The disciples had not broken God’s law; they had only violated the Pharisees’ legalistic, interpretation of the law. Jesus reminded the Pharisees of the original intent of the Sabbath rest. Jesus statement does not teach that the Sabbath was made for all mankind, as misguided teachers of the law, such as SDA's teach.

Nehemiah 9:13 - "Then You came down on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven; You gave them just ordinances and true laws, Good statutes and commandments. 14 So You made known to them Your holy sabbath, And laid down for them commandments, statutes and law, Through Your servant Moses." *Nowhere in Scripture is there any hint that Sabbath keeping was practiced from Adam to Moses.*

The Word of God makes it clear that Sabbath observance was a sign between God and Israel: "The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested." (Exodus 31:16-17).

In Deuteronomy 5, Moses restates the Ten Commandments to the next generation of Israelites. Here, after commanding Sabbath observance in verses 12–14, Moses gives the reason the Sabbath was given to the nation Israel: "Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day." (Deuteronomy 5:15).

So, the Sabbath was made for man, mankind in Mark 2:27 does not imply that the Sabbath was given to all nations (all of mankind). It was given to Israel and the Israelites are of mankind. This is where we need to rightly divide the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

WORDS???

""Not all nations" -- what, pray tell, does the word mankind actually mean? The word used by Christ, Strong's defines as MANKIND

Here is another thought; those following Christ are counted as the seed of Abraham -- Abraham was not a Jew,
bring forth one scripture stating Abraham was a Jew and you will be the first to do so.

29 And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Actually the first time the term "Jew" is used is in 2 Kings 16: 6, the House of Israel was at war with the Jews

explain that fact?

yes "word" can and are used to make the Word of God of none effect by the Many.

(Exo 20:4) "You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
If we keep the first two then the rest will be easy! Break one they all are broken. It’s not hard to understand it that for me , but in this world it can be a battle! Love faith and hope ! Prayerfully is so important.

I do believe it’s Gods order of priority. The first is first by Gods order . Not ours . Jesus confirmed it to the Pharisees. It’s not hard to understand. All the laws hang on the first two it’s said . So the Order is Gods order . Makes sense to me .

If you people do not keep the Sabbath, I can say by experience, you are the losers ! I get so blessed by keeping it ! I’m not Jewish . So reality and the word of God verify to me . Amen!

If you people do not keep the Sabbath, I can say by experience, you are the losers ! I get so blessed by keeping it ! I’m not Jewish . So reality and the word of God verify to me . Amen!

I am not of the tribe of Ju-dah but I began resting on the Sabbath in 1968, I do not believe those that do not are losers but I know they are losing out on blessings i.e. good things The Father gives to those that obey.

See if I will not pour out blessings you have no room for!

What the "Many" do not seem to grasps, everything that exist was made by and is owned by the Father, for those that live as HE designed man to live, He willingly will give all that you can bear. After almost 60 years I can attest, that is a FACT!

It would be very embarrassing to list even a few things, not room enough to list them all.
