We are not to walk in statutes. Jews do that.

We are to walk in the Spirit and truth.
When we walk in the Spirit we are not walking in His statutes and judgments? Of course we are. Are His statutes and judgments not truth? Of course they are.

You're playing semantic games. You could use a refresher on covenants.

At any rate, nothing I say will convince you. Grace and peace.

This current world, and all/everything that remain in it, will be destroyed by God. God will create new heavens and a new earth to replace it with and will only be inhabited by those whom He has saved.

[2Pe 3:10-13 KJV]
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the
elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and
godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the
elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth,
wherein dwelleth righteousness.

[Rev 21:1-3 KJV]
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and
they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God.
That speaks of what will take place after the New Heaven and new earth of the Millennium has finished serving its purpose.
For the Millennium is also called a new heaven and new earth!

So in other words, for those whom Jesus saves, He does indeed remove the penalty for sin. I love the hymn which starts, "Great is the Gospel of Our Glorious God." The first verse refers to Christ paying the penalty for sin for those He saves:

"Great is the gospel of our glorious God,
Where mercy met the anger of God's rod;
A penalty was paid and pardon bought,
And sinners lost at last to Him were brought."
Christ paid the penalty for everyone. That big ole sin barrier that prevented everyone being able to approach God was removed so now anyone can come to God.

Not everyone comes though and that is why they are not saved.

I do works because I'm saved; not to be saved.

Do you believe Ezekiel 36:26-27 is the promise of the new covenant?
I have not argued believing is a work that saves us, I have always said it is God's determination to save believers that saves us. A subtlety that seems to go over your head.

The payment which made people able to be saved.

Agreed. Without the Cross there can be no salvation but if His death was the direct means of salvation then all would be saved as Christ accomplished His mission perfectly. "It is finished".

The Gospel isn't that Christ died, we all do that. The Good News (Gospel) is that He rose to never die again and welcomes anyone to join with Him. :)

God meets us with grace and truth in Christ. Believe it or not, that is the choice.

No, there is no Millennium after Jesus's returns. The thousand years represents a timeframe that began at Jesus's sacrifice/resurrection and goes until His return at the last day - it is a symbolic number, not a literal number. When the seventh angel sounds all things will be completed; the seventh angel sounds at the last trumpet, after which, there will be time no longer, so there cannot be another literal thousand years after that, only before it. The last day is judgment day - either unto eternal life for the saved or the second death for others.

[Jhn 6:39-40 KJV]
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
[Jhn 11:24 KJV]
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
[Jhn 12:48 KJV] 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

[1Co 15:50-55 KJV]
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory?

[Rev 10:6-7 KJV]
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

[Rev 11:15-18 KJV]
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

"Statutes" and "judgments"? = Law.
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Galatians 5:18

.
Gentiles were never under the law. Not being under the law means not being subject to the old covenant and have the burden of the law included in our relationship with God. As Christians we are still to walk in His ways and exercise obedience. Not being under the law precludes us from the curses in the law. It doesn't mitigate our responsibility to obey God. It is the Spirit who leads us into righteousness and obedience. This is exactly what Ezekiel 36:26-27 teaches.

"Great is the gospel of our glorious God,

A penalty was paid and pardon bought,
And sinners lost at last to Him were brought."
Jesus bore the penalty for all mankind's sins.

No one is going to the Lake of Fire for their sins...

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened.
And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. So the dead were judged
by what was written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20:12

Their sins will not be mentioned.
They will be judged according to their WORKS. Not their sins!

Jesus bore the penalty for man's sins upon the Cross.
That is why the Father had to forsake Him.

grace and peace ......

Gentiles were never under the law. Not being under the law means not being subject to the old covenant and have the burden of the law included in our relationship with God.

Galatians covered the problem that Judaizers were causing Gentile believers in Galatia by trying to get them to be under the Law.

This doesn't alter anything I stated.

You can say that, after you said?

"Gentiles were never under the law."

Galatians 3:1-5

You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly
portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit
by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning by
means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh? Have you experienced
so much in vain—if it really was in vain? So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work
miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?

How could you claim that after Paul needed to warn the Galatians to stop being deceived, because they were trying to be under the Law?
Thus, prompting Paul's words?

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ
and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing
you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ." Galatians 1:6-7
