The "rapture" is at the resurrection and before the bowls of wrath are poured out. There is no scriptural basis for a sneaky pre-trib rapture. It was invented in the 1800s to make the heresy of dispensationaism work (also invented in the 1800s). I normally don't get involved in discussions on the rapture other than to make a comment now and then, so i really don't have a goto list of scripture that you're looking for.

However, if you have questions about it I'm sure things will come to my mind that I can help you with. One thing you need to ask yourself is why would God remove his people from the earth before his glorious and loud return that every eye will see when he prayed for the father not to do so.

I ask not that you take them out of the world, but that you guard them from the evil. John 17:15
That first paragraph you wrote, every bit of it is a lie.( except the part where you say you have no verses).
That 1800's baloney was debunked years ago.

You really want to believe the church fathers as the BASIS for your belief,...instead of scripture????
Irenaeus wrote a book EXPOSING THEIR NUMEROUS ERRORS.
You are telling us YOUR BASIS is MAN????
AHEM.... Men that had limited revelation and were RIFE WITH ERROR.?????
YES, you are actually doing that..

In another post, you say the word "rapture" is poison.
In the above post you ACTUALLY USE THAT VERY WORD TO DESCRIBE 1 THES 4 "CAUGHT UP/ HARPOZO".....as if it is perfectly fine in a discussion.

Any postribbers got a bible ?
A verse?

Try real hard to make your case.
Make a case with your doctrine.
I want to be a postribber.
Show me the light.
No put downs .
No conjecture.
No smoking guns that are nothingburgers.
No postrib talking points copy and paste from your workbook.
Get a bible and honestly debate.

Mat 24.
".....One will be taken, one left"

Who is taken before the flood.?
Who is left behind before the flood?

Scripture plainly says that the wicked were taken in death and only Noah and his family remained

And every living thing was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained, and they that were with him in the ark. Genesis 7:23

1 thes 4 in the Latin Bible.
17 Deinde nos, qui vivimus, qui relinquimur, simul rapiemur cum illis in nubibus obviam Christo......
"Rapiemeur", is where we get the slang "rapture"

( taken from 'rapio')

Verb

edit
rapiō (present infinitive rapere, perfect active rapuī, supine raptum); third (-iō variant) conjugation

  1. to snatch, grab, carry off, abduct, rape, steal
From google;
The English word "rapture" derives from rapere (via the Latin rapiemur, which means "we shall be caught up"). While Spanish shares many Latin roots, modern Spanish-speaking churches use arrebatamiento or rapto to translate "

It is in the Latin bible, but you didn't know that.
If that is some giant hurdle, then we can call the: "catching away/seizing violently away" ,something else.
Since everyone uses "rapture" it just makes talking to postribbers a little less tedious.
But if you need "catching away/ seizing violently" spelled out, I can accommodate.

Nah...I will pass.....to lame to even go there.

The Vulgate is not original recipe

Conversely, when the words of Jesus prophecy are fulfilled, and you are dumbfounded watching yourself and colleagues stay to face the AC, be of good cheer!
You foolish virgins will meet the actual bride in heaven after martyrdom!
( but only those that take the mark go through the trib)...if you actually have that desire.

Not sure exactly what your role will be, since it says all you left behind and martyred, had to wash your dirty robes .

Try and refute those bible concepts.
Try on "concept vs concept."

That going personal mess , and conjecture, is lame.

P1, you are so much fun. Reading your stuff is like going to the carnival.

Please consider the two witnesses in Rev. 11.
They teach the gospel message for 3.5-years. (Rev. 11:3)
Then they are killed and remain in the streets for 3.5-days (Rev. 11:7-9).
After the 3.5 days they are resurrected (Rev. 11:11)
Then they were called up to heaven by God (Rev 11:12).

What do you consider these events to be?

Silly and unnecessary post. I'll read the word of God and pray for wisdom. I was asking for insight into your beliefs to see where they come from to aid my study.
Scripture after scripture after scripture.
The Word of God authenticates itself.
There are no postrib rapture verses.

We can believe anything.
....as is demonstrated here in the forum.
Proof is in the bible.
Pretrib rapture doctrine is centered in Jesus, the bride, and bridegroom.
Postrib rapture doctrine has almost no forward motion.
The posts you have read from them and agreed to earnestly, are simply "anti pretrib rapture" obsession, with no defense of their doctrine.

There is none of them that can lay out our doctrine.
I can lay out theirs with great precision.
Complete with the impossibilities of why it in no way fits.

The 2 biggest red flags, are,
1) where they claim to get their doctrine;
( dead ancient men of the first century)
2) their center is "tribulation".
Not Jesus, not the groom, not the bride.

Huge...huge ....mistakes

Interesting, since your personal insults are a clown act.
SMH
Ask something outside your lame juvenile format, and maybe I will waste my time with you.

P1,
This is LTL, not SMH.

What did you think about the two witnesses being called up in the rapture at the end of the 3.5 years?

Your claim was that "rapture" was poison as a word.
Your claim was it is not in the Bible.
It is in the bible.
Just because you do not speak Russian, you can not honestly claim , some Russian word is evil because it is not in the English Bible.

You USED "RAPTURE" in a precious post as a event, and were happy to use it to reference "harpozo", or "being seized".
Then proceeded to demonize it as poison.

Only they are referenced being caught up.
I am sure you are trying to make it more than what it is.
I am OK with the reference the bible makes to them.

As I said. I'm studying the Word and will follow what it says. I can ask people for their insight and understanding on the topic, and show appreciation for their response without warranting the criticism, I believe. May we all be blessed with wisdom, in Jesus' name, amen.

Huh?
Even when I ask you to cut the clown act and borrow a bible from someone, you revert to the low road of nonsense.

Go troll someone else.
Either honestly debate or move on to some other board where the juvies play.

P1, I thought we had this resolved, but I guess not.
Let's go verse by verse over the parable of the Ten Virgins. Not all the verses at once. You begin with the first verse and I will write on the first verse, etc. You can start a new thread if you like.
Mat 25
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

You claim in your post you can unpack it verse by verse.

Go ahead.
No rabbit trails about how you see me as defective.
Get you a bible and try...TRY... to focus, and actually stay on the subject.

Bravo.
You got the cloud part correct.

Oh well.
