He didn;t say we are to oney the Torah. He said that by the Holy Spirit in us we are to obey Christ and His gospel, which supercede the Torah as God’s preferred means of becoming righteous.

Paul, what is Jesus Christ telling His disciples to do here in Matthew?
Matthew 23
1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 "All " therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, [that] observe and do;
but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay [them] on men's shoulders; but they [themselves] will not move them with one of their fingers.
the Pharisees ruled the Jews using the Torah, they just did not obey it themselves.
they used the Torah to murder Christ, but they lied doing so.
They needed two witnesses, the Torah requires two witnesses before Christ could be put to death.
I do not see how this can be twisted -- but I am sure it has been

Because my knowledge of the Lord Jesus is a revelation from God (Matt 16:15-17), I only wait on Him and ask Him to reveal the truth.
In asking the Lord God what He would reveal about animals that are forbidden and not forbidden to eat, I was led to read about those who will be judged by the Lord Jesus.
The Lord Jesus will never judge literal sheep and goats, but rather He will judge people.
MATTHEW 25:31-33
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

Therefore, the animals mentioned in Deuteronomy 14:6–8 are not literal animals, but they represent people.

Jesus stated the He did not come to abolish the Law. Hebrews tells us that the Law is obsolete. Romans tells us that Christians are not under the Law. Galatians tells us that reliance on following the Law is not trusting in Jesus.
Apparently you have chosen to believe a false gospel.
The “time of the end” was the couple of decades leading up to 70 AD.
Jesus was speaking to Jews before the New Covenant in His blood had been ratified and when the Torah was still in force for the Jews, so of course He is going to tell them they should be keeping the Torah. But he gave a new set of laws in the Sermon on the Mount, where He rescinded several Torah laws as they were being interpreted by the religious leaders.

Context matters.
Anyone who regards himself as higher than his fellow human being is not of God.
A person should never say to another person that he is being deceived. For when he says this, it is as though he regards himself as being superior to the one he is speaking to. This is not what the Lord Jesus taught His chosen ones.
Observe these two people who are praying to God. Which of them is from God, and which one is not from God?
LUKE 18:10-14
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

How can you say that your fellow person is being deceived? Are you certain that you yourself are not being deceived in your current state?
Are you certain that you are not included among those whom the Lord Jesus is speaking about?
ROMANS 3:10-12
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
If you say that you are not among those whom the Lord Jesus is referring to, then you are in a pitiful state.
You are like the Pharisee who prayed while exalting himself.
But those who acknowledge that they are among those whom the Lord Jesus refers to are like the tax collector who humbly begs for God’s mercy.
Thus, even if I do not know you personally, God has already exposed through your words that you are not from God.
PROVERBS 12:13
13 The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.
If your condition is pitiful, then those who believe and place their trust in you are even more pitiful. This is solely in reference to God and His words.
You just keep making things up. It’s laughable. You have deceived yourself because you refuse sound instruction.
If the Lord God is speaking about human beings rather than literal animals, why do His descriptions of them correspond to the actual traits of animals? What might the Lord God be expressing through this?
DEUTORONOMY 14:6-8
6 And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.
7 Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.

Unless we ask for mercy so that the Lord God may reveal its meaning, we will not come to know the truth. Indeed, human knowledge has no place in the truth of God’s words, for only the Lord God can reveal the truth through His word.
And to ask for God’s mercy is to humble oneself before His presence.
The word of God will never pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
In the time of the Lord Jesus, people also mocked the truth (John 14:16). So your laughter at the truth is nothing new it was already done by the Jews. Because there is no humility in them.

I completely agree with you Paul was telling it how it is. However he also finishes by saying that some of you did those very things, but God has changed your heart. With few exceptions I committed them myself, but when I was found by Jesus he forgave me and I gradually changed.
Certainly, there is the opportunity and ability to change one's disqualifying behaviours, so that one is no longer disqualified. God is gracious, long-suffering, merciful and good.
Like the Jews, especially the Scribes and Pharisees who were not chosen by God, they possess only one life, the physical life, consisting of the senses and the soul (the mind and emotions). As a result, they are likened to animals that do not have a split hoof.
Although they claim to feed people with the Word of God, they do not actually chew it. For when the Word of God is eaten, chewed, and then swallowed, what is felt in the stomach is bitterness. It is as though the Word of God, as food, goes no further than the mouth, so that all they taste is sweetness.
Yet the words preached by many ministers are all pleasant and contain no bitterness. This is evidence that they do not chew the Word of God. They can be compared to the unclean animals that do not chew the cud.
REVELATION 10:9
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
Therefore, those who read and believe in the Holy Scriptures, although they use the Word of God but do not truly know the true God, are like unclean animals that should not be eaten or believed.
MATTHEW 16:6 & 12
6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
For the Word of God does not pass away (Matthew 24:35). In our time, the Lord is referring to those who are regarded as knowledgeable in the Word of God and who preach it, yet do not truly know the one true God.
