my koala cuddly toy is called Carlala. The others in my koala family are just Mummy Koala, Daddy Koala and Baby Koala.
Carlala is actually from China and worked at the Hard Rock Cafe in Alice Springs. She's now become a resident, after they all moved to New Zealand.

Matilda the wombat joined them. What..you don't name your cuddly toys?

I found "Schatzi" while looking up possible nicknames for the lynx lady. I'm going to try it out on my granddaughter and see if it sticks to her. It somehow seems perfectly fitting for a tyrannical toddler.

All my Transformers already came with names. And my Hot Wheels didn't need names.

(And the Matchbox cars didn't deserve names. Back then Matchbox cars were cheap plastic. Even as a kid I was a toy snob.)
 
Huh, I have Hot wheels but they aren't very cuddly. They are all service vehicles though.

I have ice cream truck, sushi on wheels, chili pepper racer, pizza express, lifeguard, police squad, and 3 News.

The only transformer I had was one that turned into a quarter pounder from McDonalds, though I do remember my brother having one that turned into a box of french fries, I called his one 'Changeable Chipsy'

I have always been fond of nick names and try to give one to all my family members and attempt to offer something apropos. My grandchildren are pleased with their nick names I’ve given them (I think) and let me name them for your perusal….given according to their age (oldest first/ youngest last…….

Brian….age 33. “Bmac” as his last name is a Scottish “Mac” so and so ….appellation.

Jacob….age 25. “Jacabo” just because I like the sound of it …..with the J pronounced as a Y.

Zachary….age 25. “BoBo” because his last name begins with a “Bo”.

Taylor Mackenzie….age 22. “Tmac” just because…..and sometimes Brian answers when I say it quickly.

Todd….age 20. “TJ” because he is a “junior” ….sharing his Dad’s name.

Liam….age 18. “Patch” because he actually, truthfully, really, undoubtably in no uncertain terms looked exactly like a “Cabbage Patch” kid when he was a toddler.

Braxton….great grandson age 7. “Brax” so obvious….huh? Brian’s son.

I learned that Karlon's wife is named Thea. I don't know what she likes or dislikes, but I did hear that she keeps an eye on Karlon to make sure he doesn't get into any trouble!

I also shared my cat's names on here. But if you tried to call her that, she won't come to you, because she's a cat, not a dog.
 
I'm Turbochunk, and the babe I have with me is who I call Hatchback.
Together we mod rods and jury-rig machines as we take quests and arrest bandits.
You might say we're running a freelance garage and sheriffs department on wheels.

lanolin, don't you know that if i don't get in trouble from time to time, webster's would have to take "trouble" out of the dictionary? phunnneee! my wife is involved in many interests: horses, arts & crafts, history, sightseeing, museums, ancestral history, reading, English ways & customs, gourmet dining, 19th & 18th century clothes, home decor, vacationing, architecture, bike riding & this & that.

Or maybe someone out of a Jane Austen novel. You ought to call call her 'My Lady Love' or 'Lady Karlonton'
 
I call my wife honey, honey bunny, sweetheart, my perfect wife.

She calls me honey and my wonderful hubband.

It is funny how I expect her to call me honey and not use my actual name, because that would be too formal. In times of duress or distress, she will call out to me by my name. But it is rare.
