Many do the same. Rather than admiting and repenting of their own sin, they want to accuse others of being sinful as well. As if that would excuse their own sin, or acquit them when they face judgement.
hello friend.
was it not you yesterday who claimed to fulfill the Two Great Commandments to God's satisfaction (perfectly)?
forgive me if i have you confused with someone else. is this judging the condition of someone you've never met sinful?
what gave you the idea i don't admit and repent of my sin? one must acknolwedge they do sin in order to confess and repent do they not?
not sure i accused anyone of being sinful...why would i do that? i don't know anyone.
i have no interest in excusing my own sin. why would i do that?
that's about as dangerous as it gets.
when i face judgment, there will be condemnation for me....do you live in fear of condemnation?
Romans 8:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus
i guess that's where you and i differ. my salvation lies in Jesus Christ's Work. not my own. it looks as though David and Paul trusted the Lord also.
Psalm 32:1
A Maskil of David. Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Psalm 41:4
As for me, I said, “O LORD, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against you!”
Psalm 119:58
I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.
Romans 4:8
Blessed
is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Romans 5:16
And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.
and the doctrine some refuse to accept:
Ephesians 2
1And you
hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)
6And hath raised
us up together, and made
us sit together in heavenly
places in Christ Jesus:
7That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in
his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
