Eve did not sin by eating of the tree.

So God’s commands, “You shall not kill”, “You shall not steal”, and “You shall not commit adultery” don’t apply to you because they were given to Moses before you were born?

When your parents taught you not to take things that belong to others, it doesn’t apply to you?

Right. I don't know why people continue to banter with him.

There's some kind of unspoken agenda with the OP. It's not apparent why his thesis is so important to him. #shrug

What you are claiming is that God sent "strong delusion" to Eve so that she would believe the lie of satan ...

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

... you are saying Adam and Eve "believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness", and they are "damned" because God sent "strong delusion, that they should believe a lie" ... smh

I believe Adam and Eve repented of transgression (Eve) and sin (Adam), and God covered their shame in providing coats for both of them (Genesis 3:21).

I also believe Adam and Eve taught their children about God ... Cain, Abel, Seth, all their sons and daughters.

What is revealed in Genesis 3:2-3 is that Eve did not "ignore" what God had said. According to Genesis 3:13 Eve acknowledged she was deceived by satan (corroborated in 1 Timothy 2:14). Do you believe Eve was deceived by satan?

As for Adam ... there is no indication that he "ignored" God's will. God said Adam "hearkened unto the voice of thy wife" (Genesis 3:17). We do not know what Eve said to Adam before he ate because her words are not revealed in the record.

Agree Eve should have gone to God when satan told her something that was not in alignment with what God said, but that is not what Eve did.

Agree Adam should have gone to God when Eve "gave to him", but that is not what Adam did.

.

No, 2Thes. 2:10-12 indicates that because A&E did not love truth, God allowed them to be deluded by lies, so they died spiritually, and what they taught Cain did not prevent the death of Abel.

Gen. 3:21 foreshadows Christ's atonement, and we should hope A&E repented/learned from their first mistake and trusted in God for salvation.

A&E were deceived by Satan because they ignored GW instead of questioning God about what Satan said.
Glad we agree regarding that. The root of sin is ignorance. Their actions speak louder than words.

Ezekiel 28 suggests that Satan was present in the Garden of Eden. He was both the tree of the knowledge knowing good and evil and the serpent. God never mentioned fruit of any kind . What Adam and Eve consumed was forbidden by law and was not a fruit. Adam did not commit sin; he did not intentionally partake in what was prohibited. He was cast out because of the woman. The scriptures will support this assertion.

I agree God allowed what occurred at the time ... but that is not the same as what is stated in 2 Thessalonians 2:10.

The verb in 2 Thessalonians 2:10 is in the future tense ... God sending strong delusion is still future as the wicked one has not yet been revealed ... the one we read about in the book of Revelation.

While Scripture tells us there are many antichrists (1 John 2:18), there is one specific antichrist referred to in 2 Thessalonians 2:10 (and 1 John 2:18) which is yet to be revealed in the future.

yes. I believe both Adam and Eve believed the promise of God concerning the promised seed of the woman ... and God covered their shame with coats of skin when they did so.

Agree they should have gone to God before acting ... how many times do we rush into things before going to God? ... early lesson from Genesis.

There are two seventh days in the Bible. Revelation 1-11 mark the first seventh day it is the missing peace to Genesis. Revelation 22 ends on our seventh day. The first seventh day is in Genesis where the seventh trumpet sound in Revelation 11:15 ending the seventh day. Revelation 12 begins with the first day where a child was born in the first heaven and taken to the third heaven to save him from the serpent. His mother symbolized as the tree of life fled into the wilderness until a place was prepared for her and that place was the Garden of Eden where she lived for a thousand two hundred and threescore days. And there God placed the man. Satan was cast down after the war and Isaiah wrote about his fall.

Three agreements out of four is good, but discerning that spiritual truth is eternal (both from the beginning until the end) is now needed.

You seem logical enough to connect those dots.

Hebrews 9:16 says, “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator” and Hebrews 9:17 says, “For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.” The Torah consists of the first five books in the Bible. Moses death is recorded in Deuteronomy, which is the last Book of the Torah. According to Hebrews he cannot be considered the testator of the Old Testament. We know Jesus is the testator of the New Testament, then who is the testator of the Old Testament?

There is more to the story of Adam and Eve than what you read in Genesis chapter three.

God created man and woman on the sixth day in Genesis 1:27. He rested on the seventh day in Genesis 2:2 and the seventh day ended. God created Adam on the first day in Genesis 2:7 and Eve in the garden in Genesis 2:22. If we assumed Adam and Eve was created on the sixth day, then Genesis 22 is before God rested in Genesis 2:2. We have created a Paradoxical loop. The man and woman created on the sixth day was not Adam and Eve and the scriptures never said they were, you did.

I agree that Satan was the serpent. We have confirmation of that in Revelation:

(Rev 12:9 NKJV) So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

But where in the Bible is there any indication that Satan was the tree of the knowledge knowing good and evil?

You say that God did not mention the word "fruit" in regard to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. He does talk of not eating of that tree:

(Gen 2:16-17 NKJV) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

What part of "every tree of the garden" were they to eat, if not the fruit? What part of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil were they not to eat? The bark? The leaves? The trunk? The roots? Eve certainly understood God to have meant "fruit":

(Gen 3:1-3 NKJV) Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?" And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' Adam and Eve was bound by the laws of the Torah, and what they ate was forbidden by law. Satan used the law against them. The one he used is found in Exodus. The law concerning leaven. Anyone who consume leaven will be cut off. This verse alone does not prove they were cast out of the garden because of leaven, however there are verses that will support leaven as the forbidden fruit.

15Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. (Exodus 12:15 KJV)

In Matthew 13:35, Jesus said he would reveal a secret kept from the foundation of the world but tell it in a parable. It is the parable of leaven. It describe how a woman hid leaven in someone's meal until the whole (him and her) was leavened. In the Bible, three measures of flour are used to make bread.

33Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. (Matthew 13:33 KJV)

Satan gave Eve leaven and she hid it in Adam’s meal without his knowledge. She said the serpent had tricked me. After eating he said, "The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat." He was unaware that she put leaven in his bread and drink. The law makes no distinction whether he knew or not. The author writes in 1 Timothy 2:14 that the man was not deceived, but that the woman, being deceived, was in the transgression. The author also writes in 1 Timothy 2:15 that the woman would be saved if they continued with sobriety. Sobriety refers to the condition of being sober, or not under the influence of alcohol. Leaven is a yeast use in dough to make it rise and, it causes a beverage to ferment into alcohol. When God found them naked in the garden, they were intoxicated.

15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. (1 Timothy 2:15 KJV)

God was angry with Satan and the woman for what they did to his son, so he cursed the ground for Adam’s sake. In other words, if my son suffer you all will suffer.

Um… no.
How can we not understand that when the seventh angel sound there is time no longer Revelation 10:6. The seventh day came to an end when the seventh angel sounds in Revelation 11:15. In 1 Corinthians 15:52 Paul said, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

If revelation chapters 1-11 applied to us we will not be here to see events in Revelation chapter 12-22. We do not listen to what the scriptures are telling us. We rely on narratives without examining its validity. Clergymen claim that the woman in Revelation 12 is a symbol, and you believe that a symbol gave birth to a living child. John said the woman fled into the wilderness until a place was prepared for her.

The woman is the child’s mother. If I am wrong, you tell me who she was? She and the child appeared before Satan’s fall during the war in heaven in Revelation 12:7. Isaiah wrote of Lucifer’s fall in Isaiah 14:12. It places the woman and child after the seventh day in the beginning in the Old Testament prior to the war and Isaiah. Look how the chronology align. Adam was made of the dust of the ground, which is a metaphor meaning he was of the earth, earthy. He was created from dust and will return to it upon his death. Again, Revelation 1-12 are the missing pieces from Genesis.

Where do we read anything about Satan giving Eve leaven and Eve hiding in in Adam's meal? Leaven is not even mentioned in the Bible until Exodus 12, many generations after Adam and Eve. What biblical basis do you have for saying what you do about Eve and leaven?

Adam and Eve was bound by the laws of the Torah, and what they ate was forbidden by law.
No, they were not. They had no knowledge of Torah because it wasn’t compiled until thousands of years later.

I admire your chutzpah, but you’re off track here.

Satan gave Eve leaven and she hid it in Adam’s meal without his knowledge.
I see you like inventing things and calling them Scripture. That is specifically warned against in… Scripture. Revelation 22:18.

God was angry with Satan and the woman for what they did to his son, so he cursed the ground for Adam’s sake. In other words, if my son suffer you all will suffer.
That’s not what it says.

I agree that Satan was the serpent. We have confirmation of that in Revelation:

And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' "

Ezekiel 28 indicates that Satan was present in the Garden of Eden, while Ezekiel 31 suggests that the trees in the garden symbolize people. In verse nine, God refers to Satan by stating,“ I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.” Trees lack the ability to envy, whereas people do possess this capacity. We assume that Adam and Eve were the only ones in the garden. Jesus said that a tree is known by its fruits which is a metaphor to show the true character of a person. Throughout the Bible trees frequently symbolize people. Do you really believe God is talk about a literal tree when he referred to the tree possessing the knowledge of good and evil. The tree is metaphorical. In Matthew 7:18 Jesus said, “A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.” He used the analogy to show satan’s character as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Only one tree in the garden knew evil and that person was Satan.
