You did not quote the part of my post that contradicts your assertion.

My assertion was that “Elohim” is a category noun, the category Being One/Triune Creator.
What part of your post argues against that truth?

Your assertion was that the post which reads better is the one without abbreviations,
but you never quoted any abbreviations.

Bad hair days?

Just noticed that Shyanuraix got himself banned. I’m not surprised. How long ago was that?

For some time I'd had a suspicion that he knew all along he was completely wrong about the name Jehovah, but he wasn’t here to defend any particular view about the names of God. He was here for the sake of the quarreling, which he enjoyed, or possibly just to see how long it would take the mods to ban him.

I think he was banned before, probably came back in new name and enjoy arguing.

Most words in Hebrew have multiple meanings....because the language doesn't have any bad words.
Hebrew is a metaphoric language....meaning everything is said in metaphoric fashion. There is no word for prostitute or homosexual. (Euphemisms are used instead)
ALSO
Key importance....
It is not noun based like English....
Zero nouns....unlike English which is noun based.
It is VERB based.
But Hebrew has more than 3 or 4 tenses (depending upon how you count English verbs)

English has past, present, future, and maybe perfect tense if you count it at all.....which most English teachers do not.

Hebrew has multiples. Past and present but not future, present tense, past tense and a slew of others.

A painter us a person "who applies paint".....

Also....
Hebrew alphabet is not just their numbers....it is Pictographic.
If you know the pictographs you know the phonetics...

The Aleph has no sound (because it belongs to God) but it changes a word drastically...and its a pictograph of an altar
The Beth has the "b" sound....but it's also a pictogram of a tent or "home"....

And on and on it goes

Then in proper Hebrew not only do you read it backwards from right to left....there are zero vowel points. (Those came later)
There never has been any assigned vowels to God's name....and I'm hesitant to add any myself.

The tetragrammiton (The Name) appears as part of other words....Judah and Joshua and Jesus all have God's name as a portion of theirs.
But the significant part is that there is no "j" sound in aramaic or Hebrew. Not even a soft "g" to fill in for it.

So....
No vowels, no "j" sound, but people want to declare a definitive pronunciation and definition.

The literal definition of the tetragrammiton is...."I am, I have been, I will be" all three at the same time. Except its God's name.....

Good luck!

Great information.
How do you explain the name from pictorial point of view? Every letter is a picture, and meaning, does it mean anything?

Google said [per Wikipedia]:

Yes, ancient Hebrew has specific words for prostitutes, but it does not have a single, direct word for "homosexual". [1, 2] Here are the specific ancient terms:
Words for Prostitute:
    • Zonah (זוֹנָה): The most common term for a female prostitute or harlot. It comes from the root verb meaning to commit fornication or be unfaithful. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
    • Qedeshah (קְדֵשָׁה) / Qadesh (קָדֵשׁ): These terms refer to female and male ritual or cult prostitutes, often associated with pagan temples. The root word means "holy" or "set apart". [1, 2, 3, 4]
Words for Homosexuality:
Ancient Hebrew culture categorized sexual acts based on specific behaviors and gender roles rather than sexual orientation. There was no linguistic equivalent to the modern concept of "homosexuality". Instead, biblical texts describe specific prohibited same-sex acts: [1, 2, 3, 4]
    • The Hebrew Bible forbids a man from lying with another man "as with a woman" (in Hebrew, mishkav isha), which translates literally to "the lyings of a woman" (found in Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
This takes me back to seminary days, in which Hebrew was a challenge.
Good thing the NT was in Greek!

Thank God for translators! :D

How do you explain the name from pictorial point of view? Every letter is a picture, and meaning, does it mean anything?
I honestly cannot remember....been 20 years since I looked at it.

I remember that it was similar in construction to Egyptian....
Egyptian used a picture to make a phonetic sound which when put together formed a word.
Hebrew did the same thing...phonetic sounds out of different pictures. Which have changed over the centuries and "loan words" from other nearby nations got incorporated over the years.

We read and pronounce the word "Hebrew" and think of the Jews....but that's not exactly accurate.
It stems from ancient Egyptian word "apiru" which is a homeless, orphaned from family, or more likely apostacized (tossed out) from family person.
Very patriarchal society....also very Caste-based oriented....everything in your world was family and caste....if it wasn't, you was a slave and likely dead in a few years due to being literally worked to death. Prostitutes had extremely short lifespans. (2 years max upon entering the "trade"....and that number never wavered over the centuries even in the Roman empire) Slave revolts in the Roman Empire changed things there for MALE slaves only....not the prostitutes. Joseph (Jacob's son) was believed to be dead by everyone....his being alive in and of itself would be seen as miraculous....the whole viceroy of Egypt thing was insanity upon insanity. Completely unbelievable. If I was Jacob I wouldn't believe my other 11 sons either...even after getting the whole truth out of them.

This i am very familiar. I know picture language very well. That's the reason I think the 4 letter name of almighty God is very much related to the 4 pictorial letters, which points to Jesus.

Very true, the original 22 letters very possible started before Abraham time. We call it Hebrew, but it is not necessarily Hebrew.

The truth is that the use of the term “elohim” for a departed human spirit flatly and thoroughly contradicts the idea that it is a category term for “one true Creator”.

The term is also used for spirit beings other than God.

Moses was the one responsible for creating the formal Hebrew language.

It is hypothesized that he took all of the Oral Traditions that he knew of, and under God's guidance, turned them into the Torah.
The Torah is almost 6,000 years old at this point.

Other interesting facts...

Hebrew is the line....all languages that originated on Earth read from left to right West of Israel....and those originating East all read Right to left.

PLUS...

When Moses created the Hebrew language and it's alphabet....it was only the fourth language to become written complete with a complete alphabet. Acadian, Sumerian, Ugarit, Egytian....that was it.

Plus....it is the ONLY living language still in existence from that time used by descendants of that precise people group with the exact same religion.....

No one else....anywhere in the world can make the same claim.

This name is mentioned nowhere in the Hebrew scriptures, neither is it in the language of Ancient Hebrew.

Based on my research, it is Yiddish, and Yahweh is NOT The LORD of the Old Testament.

Any thoughts?
You do realize that languages have a range of meaning? IN Spanish Lord is not said nor in Nebo or in Chinese's. Yet the person saying Lord Jesus is fully known by God whatever language is used is it not?

Moses was the one responsible for creating the formal Hebrew language.
I am not sure about that. You have proof for that statement?
Moses was educated in Egypt, which at that time a big empire.
Pre Moses, there were Joseph, Abraham, Noah Adam... I would think they had some kind of written language.

It is hypothesized that he took all of the Oral Traditions that he knew of, and under God's guidance, turned them into the Torah.

Less than 4000? Moses was about 1500 bc.

Not sure about it. Old Asian language is from left to right.

Again, not sure it is Moses who created Hebrew language.

Same religion?
Moses believe in the true God, only Christians do that. Christians are all nations.

I cannot decipher from that reply whether you think Elohim in Gen. 1 does or does not refer to God as Being One/Triune Creator.

It refers to Him as a spirit entity, just as it refers to created beings as spirit entities.

YHWH has no vowels. So,how would you say it?
God is the breath of Life.

Job 33:4
The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

We pronounce YHEH every moment of the day. 💕

I understand you to think the NT viewed "It"/God/Elohim in Genesis 1 as referring "to Him as a spirit entity, just as it refers to created beings as spirit entities."

I doubt that!

My view is based on all usage of elohim, not just NT usage.

You really want to be right about this, but you are simply wrong and need to let it go.

You might consider this.

"1. The Grammatical Paradox (Singular vs. Plural)
  • The Plural Form: Morphologically, Elohim is a plural noun, indicated by the -im suffix (similar to cherubim or seraphim). It is the plural form of Eloah (or El), which means "mighty one" or "strong one". [1, 2, 3, 4]
  • The Singular Meaning: When referring to the single God of Israel (Yahweh), Elohim almost always pairs with singular verbs and adjectives. For example, in Genesis 1:1, the text reads, "In the beginning Elohim [plural noun] created [singular verb]...". [1, 2, 3]
  • Why it is plural: Biblical scholars generally view this as a "plural of majesty" or an intensive/abstract plural. It is a linguistic tool used to amplify the supreme nature, infinite power, and absolute authority of God, rather than to imply a collection of multiple deities. [1, 2, 3] "

And my view is based on the NT, so there is the difference.
I doubt interpreting the OT in light of the NT is wrong/I see no good reason to let this method of harmonizing GW go.

I just recently happened on the Book,The Gods of the Bible .

Its author was a translator of sacred scrolls at the Vatican.

This is fascinating,though unorthodox.

But really, what is orthodoxy except a frame that contains what is permitted to be made public?
Just as is Canonized texts.

When God and his history is so much more than what man presumes to contain in boxes under their authority.
