Jeremiah 2:34 Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.
35 Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.
Jeremiah 2:34 is not about abortion.
The verse is part of God's indictment against ancient Israel (Judah) for social injustice, the oppression of the poor, and the worship of false idols.
Jeremiah 2:34 condemns the nation of Judah for its blatant corruption and violence.
God highlights two specific sins: the deliberate murder of helpless victims and their hypocritical refusal to admit guilt.
Lamentations 1:9
Her filthiness is in her skirts;

Jeremiah 19:3-5
3 And say, Hear ye the word of the Lord, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:
Jeremiah was born near the end of the reign of King Manasseh, and here is what God had to say about this king:
Kings 21:1-6
1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.
3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.
6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
2 Kings 21:16
16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord.2 Kings 24:3-4
3 Surely at the commandment of the Lord came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;4 And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon.
King Manasseh's shedding of innocent blood included his sacrificing of his own son to a pagan god. Some, myself included, might see a correlation between this and the aborting of innocent children today.
When you get to chapter 31 you will find two verses that are related to the NT:
Jer. 31:15. This is cited in Matt. 2:18: “A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children, because they are no more”. It is followed by Jer. 31:16-17, which says not to weep, because the children will return. This hope is stated in terms of returning to their land as a reward for good works, but in the NT this hope is amended in terms of going to heaven as the reward for saving faith (Rom. 8:24-25, 1Cor. 15:19. Col. 1:27, 1Thes. 5:8, Tit. 1:2 & 2:13).
Jer. 31:31. Here we find mention of the coming new covenant (NT).
Not sure whether you read Isaiah before beginning Jeremiah, but the former has more verses closely related to the NT Messiah and Gospel that includes Gentiles.
I just associated ' innocents ' with babies as , they r the only innocents I know of .Fair comment , thank you.
I see that your question has been answered, so I will not directly weigh in. But it is far too easy to read modern day issues into scripture and build doctrines from the "obvious" connections. Scripture may be read in a current mode, but it must also be recognized as fitting into a historical setting, and to too fully abuse that historical setting is to destroy the actual meaning of the passage.

"Innocent blood" is used in relation to the righteous in scripture at times. For example, this is what Jonathan said about David when Saul was seeking to kill him:
1Sa 19:5
For he did put his life in his hand, and slew the Philistine, and the LORD wrought a great salvation for all Israel: thou sawest it, and didst rejoice: wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood, to slay David without a cause?
We see this same principle here:
Psa 94:21
They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

One might see with Molech the displeasure God has with those who kill children.

Getting back to reading Jeremiah properly after being a bit distracted . Chapter 15 is awesome , God and Jeremiah having a conversation , especially love the last three verses of the chapter . I'm not lazy in not posting the verses , honest , I just think that anyone who is genuinely interested will look them up themselves . I want u not to b lazy ! 
. Chapter 17 is beautiful and contains so much treasure , I'm gonna post this verse because it's mega important to us all I think ;

I played a trick , sorry , just wanted to stir u up a bit .
The Old Testament makes it clear that God is the giver of life, intimately involved in life from the very beginning, even from the moment of conception. Verses like Psalm 139:13-16 beautifully remind us that God "knit us together in our mother’s womb," meaning that every life is intentionally and lovingly created. In Jeremiah 1:5, we see that God had a plan for Jeremiah’s life even before he was born, showing us that each person is known and valued by God long before they take their first breath.

Thanks for adding that you were playing a trick!
Jeremiah has always been one of my favorites, due to his extreme honesty regarding his depression, telling God he was too young, etc.
I was also always amazed at the close, though turbulent, relationship he had with God, with God saying, "People are going to be smiling and pretending to agree to your face, but behind your back, they'll be plotting your death." WOW.
When you mentioned "Jeremiah's daughter," I was floored, because I was always intrigued by how God had set him apart by telling him he was not to marry or have children.
I'm about to start another "cover to cover" reading of the Bible (8th,) and I was thinking I had SERIOUSLY missed something VERY important in my studies!

Jeremiah 17:5-8
5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
vs 5 – if and when we trust in man ... place our trust in man's strength ... we turn our hearts away from the Lord and His strength.
vs 6 – those who depart from the Lord are desolate ... they cannot see when good comes so are unable to enjoy the good when it comes ... they are empty/parched/scorched.
vs 7 – those who do not turn from the Lord, trust and hope in Him ... they are blessed with heavenly blessings.
vs 8 – they are fruitful ... they shall not see when heat comes ... they are continuously blessed. Even in the hard times, they do not cease from yielding fruit.
I love these verses in Jeremiah.
