This thread should be in the news and current events forum.

I've noticed there seems to be Animus for Israel and Jews here. I think some look for any opportunity to pursue that topic.

I don't live there, but Israelis sometimes visit New Zealand. Mostly soldiers on leave (military service is compulsory there, for anyone over age 18, both men and women) and they are known for getting stuck up our mountains, so that we have to send helicopters to rescue them.

Many many Jews have aaliyahed back to their original homeland. And I had many many young girls named Aaliyah in the school I worked at. Also Neveah was a popular name ( Heaven spelled backwards)
I had children named Faith, Peace, Blessing and Harmony.

My church friend named her sons Israel and Jacob

We also host refugees from war-torn countries. They may practice whatever religion/faith they have, or none, freely in our country. They often don't get to do that in their own where it's imposed on them.

Also, it is an opportunity to hear the gospel and put it into practice. We don't need to go to them, they are coming to us. In fact, most evangelists are from the East nowadays, especially Korea.

Years ago here a church made news. They were airdropping Korean language Bibles into NK.

Then and now,if a North Korean citizen is found with a Bible they are executed immediately.
Knowing this,the airdrops continued.

One such group ironically were known as,Voice of the Martyrs.

I never mistook Trump for a Christian. He is what he is, warts and all. I didn't vote for a pastor. I voted for policy,

I do not believe his claim of Christianity to be true but I do think he may think he is. For one thing, his so called spirtual advisers, most likely all have their own personal agendas. If you know anything about Paula White, being one,you would fear for this country with her whispering in his ears.

He has closed the border. Great! He has gone after fraud. Great! He has done other things and some of them good. But I do not see how he has improved the status of the middle class at all while his 'friends' and investors in this country are rolling in it. People are now outraged over the data AI centers and don't want them. Etc 4. $ gas, prices keep going up in the grocery stores, flock cameras everywhere...

However, his little game with Iran actually has me concerned. I have a 'bad feeling' or maybe a little more, over the whole thing. I would say more but not on this forum. His actions are concerning and I start to wonder about his abilities at his age and sorry, yes that is beginning to be a problem IMO. I would never vote for the left but the alternative is not that appealing anymore either. I do not care for Vance....btw, have you see or are you aware of his talking to and expecting answers from dead people buried in a cemetary he bought? It's all in the book he wrote....how he went back to Catholicism etc. I didn't care for him even before I learned about that but that's just what we need. Maybe the witch of endor too...

The actual threat in this country is not communism. It is actually Islam. Communism is not Islam and people should acquaint themselves with the actual way muslims operate in a country when they begin to 'take it over'. I am not a conspiracy theorist....people are asleep.

are saying. the Bible plainly illustrates a permissive will of God while the perfect will He accomplishes continues. we are not puppets despite all the calvinists here telling us about their superior salvation.

Yup, the evil of Islam is very real, and you don't have to be a conspiracy theorist to see it. While communism is not Islam, islamists, socialists, marxists, and communists are currently merging together to combat the west.
