As Tyler Robinson's defense team prepares for a ruling on whether or not their client will face trial for the assassination of Charlie Kirk, they've now been reduced to pushing back against the online conspiracy theorists like Candace Owens who claim that Robinson was not Kirk's alleged killer.

A couple of weeks ago, the defense filed a motion arguing the case shouldn't qualify for the death penalty because Robinson didn't intend to hurt anyone other than Kirk. Absent from that motion were any of the arguments and so-called evidence laid out by Owens and the rest.

Now another transcript from the court, the Robinson defense team is distancing itself from the "crazies."

The flip side of that revealing is that all those who are left behind have also been revealed that they are not pleasing to the Lord. This verse is a promise and a fact. So pray accordingly. For example, suppose there was an election and even though you have looked into it carefully you can't figure out how one candidate won. Whatever they did is "hidden" it is a mystery. OK, pray "Lord, You said there is nothing covered or hid that shall not be revealed and made known. That is Your will and I am praying that Your will would be made known. I am praying according to Your word that this "hidden mystery" would be made known. Amen."

Consider Anthony Fauci, he has tens of thousands of text messages, things that were spoken in darkness. Pray that they would be heard in the light. The day of judgment is coming, prior to that day you can confess, you can repent, you can be cleansed by the blood. Think about the guy who blew the whistle on the cigarette companies. That is exactly what they tried to do to him. Cancelling payment on a ten dollar can opener that didn't work was the basis for them to accuse him of all kinds of evil. That will be forgiven, they are doing their job and you can respond by explaining what happened. But suppose they slander you for taking a stand for the Lord. That will not be forgiven. If you attack a man's servant for doing what his boss said to do, well then you are attacking the boss. In the same way if they reproach you for obeying the Lord Jesus, they are reproaching the Lord Jesus.

11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: 12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Everyone will have to answer to the Lord for the things done in this life, that includes magistrates and powers.

When I look at the Lord’s warning about leaven and then at your point about opening the heart, I see the same spiritual principle operating in both directions: the kingdom advances through inward cleansing, and corruption advances through inward compromise. If I do not first let the Lord’s light search me, expose me, break me, and cleanse every hidden room of my heart, then I have no authority to confront darkness outside myself; but if I do walk in that continual repentance, then the same Spirit who purified Peter and Paul can use me to expose hypocrisy, confront deception, discern spirits, and speak truth even before rulers. That is why Jesus teaches us to pray “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”—not as a distant eventuality, but as a present mission. The kingdom comes wherever the King’s will is obeyed, wherever hearts are yielded, wherever truth is spoken without leaven, and wherever the light exposes what is hidden. I refuse to let Scripture be weaponized as a way to “win” an argument or punish a person, because the Word of God is not a tool for scoring points in a news thread; but I also refuse to pretend that willful sin, slander, defamation, and obstinate pride somehow place a person in a position where spiritual correction will be received. Jesus Himself said that those who harden their hearts cannot hear, and Proverbs says that the Lord does not regard the prayers of those who cherish sin. So yes, there are moments when a person’s hostility, trolling, or refusal to face evidence shows that God has not granted them understanding, and in those moments I do not enable their sin, I do not indulge their falsehoods, and I do not pretend that quoting Scripture will penetrate a heart God has not opened. But I also remember that my task is not to diagnose their damnation; my task is to walk in truth, refuse slander, uphold justice, and speak the Word only where the Spirit gives liberty.
