I'm well, thanks. Glad to see you're back!
In simple terms, when Adam was created he "appeared" to be a full grown man even though he was a "newborn." There's no reason God couldn't create the Universe exactly the same way... everything into existence and once, but "appearing" to be much older.

Ah yes, when expressed in this manner i do agree with you, because we can relate to Adam. We come here unaware of the infinite past of the Cosmos and the infinity of its future and we get to know our Creator for a short time here, but we do have senses, which i mentioned above and based on those we make some educated guesses.
And yes, i agree with you that God can make our reality appear older and that also raises the question for me as to Why He would do that but either way, these are fun HOW questions for me which i like to discuss with open-minded people.
Good to see you too. Would you like me to make you an espresso? :)

with equal enthusiasm, why didn't you read postings that i have big fingers & hands & it's hard for me to type. i save time by not capitalizing. also, i didn't fully type the "mental work" statement to save time. too, i have stated that i really don't care for this sort of thing as entertainment but because it's a Christian site & most people are gregarious & amicable, i deal with it. i partly, am assisting others who may need advice & in return, i've been helped also. so how about commenting directly to my statement. if not, lets respect each other & offer solid Christian advice when someone is in need of healing. thank you.
Sometimes, I too do not bother to use the autocorrect. This is mainly due to a loss of vision, and I am just as apt to use a correction that is in error than the true correction When I say bad vision, my loss is progressive and inevitable. I thank God for my low vision, less than ten per cent remaining in my good eye. It seems the vision I have within is superior to regular ocular acuity. Don't get me wrong, it would be nice were I to have the 20/20 back, but I find it matters very little at my age
We are all very blessed to have the conveniences of the PC, text aloud, narrator, electonic magnification and much more.
God is good all of the time. Whenever anything occurs that seems bad, we thank Him for it, and He will show us the good that He is doing because of it. I have big fingers too. God bless and hold you close always, amen.

That's exactly why i said that, because i read it.
So to help you with that, i am suggesting a large keyboard with Bluetooth so you can connect it to your phone or laptop or whatever you have and it will help you type better because the keys are spaced out and it's very large.
Have you thought about this option or no?
no. i thank you for that. i have an iMac computer & i'm happy with it. if it decides to die, i'll consider your suggestion. but that most likely will not change my mind about typing. i just don't care for it. i'm still in the 1970's mode & i like it.

All right i respect that Karlon and as i've mentioned to you before, we disagree on 99 things but we do agree on Miracles.
So we got that in common.

Take care and bring an interpreter next time if you want to talk to me :)

why an interpreter?

why an interpreter?
I have no clue what you say 99% of the time, some from your writing style and probably your communication style and YES i have read what you said about your childhood problems and all i can say is that May God open the Heavens now and heal us all.

holy heavens! sorry to hear this. you will have perfect vision in heaven as all of us will! great attitude about problems. in ecclesiastes, we get the message: "live joyfully, responsibly & wisely"! thanks for the lesson &
encouragement.

99%, are you exaggerating? if i told everyone on CC the full extent of my childhood problems, the world would be flooded with tears!

Here's some advice for you.
You portray yourself as some millionaire. Why don't you buy a keyboard so you can write better?
Would you like me to give you a $100 gift card in private so you can get a bluetooth keyboard?
Dude. That was cold.

Okay, now you're starting to make a bit more sense. Have you learned anything about the problems we overcome?
Because to me it seems like you're stuck in High School a bit and believe me i wanna be in High School so bad too but without picking apart many other of your topics, are you able to discuss this topic without too much ideological indoctrination?

For example, the answer that NightTwister gave is more nuanced, and that shows his wisdom and experience.
You on the other hand come in guns blazing and give me some nonsense about things being "final". Nothing is final! This is the point of this discussion. Because we don't know the HOW in how God has created things, no matter how hard we try. So you pretending to "know" anything about the 'finality of things' doesn't show wisdom but foolishness instead.

not stuck in h.s. sometimes people obviate themselves from understanding something by way of "paralysis by analysis". i learned enough about problems that i have 325 Bible verses memorized. i understand we don't know the exact reason how God created the cosmos, i'm simply saying, "God said it & that's final", meaning we believe even though we don't understand. sure, it's alright to cogitate on this or that. i'm asking you tone more kind & be at ease with your communication. be happy while discussing. you seem fractious but i won't label you that way.

My tone is more than happy despite your assumptions and i wasn't born in US which is why we have cultural and denominational differences which makes us see things differently but we should be able to communicate somewhat clearly.
Have you thought about how your tone sounds to others?

So to circle back to the topic "God said it in the Bible" does not match what we see - this is what we're discussing. Are you able to discuss this? Because NightTwister was able to. And he gave the perfect answer which even i, from a different culture understood perfectly.
Sometimes people are different and we should be at peace with it and communicate less with each-other, which is an option i suggested earlier but i would like to discuss this with you and even have a coffee with you, if we arrive at some base communication level of understanding.

tone sounds to others? that's 1 drawback of communication with people you don't see. people read easily & quickly into something the way they perceive it & it's usually negative & that's because the reader or listener feels he or she can say anything because you are not standing in front of each other. yes, i have thought about my tone to others. i know i am very direct & to the point almost always but i won't water anyone's feelings, sort of speak. gtg. ( got to go ). a business contact has returned to the u.s.a. today from France & i'm going to buy all of his antiques, it's already arranged. i have to have a few conversations before our 1s meet on Monday. yes, let's continue someday. as long as it's Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee!! hahahahaha

Well okay, i like when people are direct because almost everyone in the Mediterranean culture is direct but it seems that you are not as direct as you seem to portray yourself.
So come back when you have time and we can have another direct swing at this topic with some coffee and appetizers if you want and let's see if you're able to reason.

Put it in the microwave bro. You're a practical guy. 🤜
I am at least practical enough to not be a jerk to Karlon. I have no qualms being a jerk when it is warranted - mostly when the target is himself being a jerk - but I wouldn't be a jerk to Karlon.

Kinda odd seeing you being one. Seems a bit out of character for you.
