Mind you, all I said was that I got it. I never did claim it was a good joke...

I was struggling last summer. I thought I might get a Harley Freewheeler and travel west, maybe Montana. There are Christian biker groups...
I moved in with my sister and shortly after I got Shingles (last October). I haven't fully recovered and don't know that I will. You see, it forced me to go to the doctors. I don't do doctors. It appears I have an elevated PSA. The scheduled a biopsy. I canceled it. I'm in the Lord's hands.
The Lord has been very, very good to me. I could never repay Him. I'd die before I deny Him.
I'm a blessed man. I know who holds tomorrow and I know who holds my hand.
I request nothing but the Lord's will be done.
There are times, daily, that I feel like I can reach right and touch Him. He's amazing! God bless everyone.
Isaiah 43
11 I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.
Isaiah 45
23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Isaiah 55
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
John 14
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
I totally get it. My dog is pretty reactive and I have to start drugging her up the night before a vet visit to keep the vet safe. And she's (the dog not the vet) smart enough I have to watch her closely to make sure she actually eats the pills instead of just licking the tasty stuff off them and spitting the actual pill part out again. In the days of my life, here's a drama I have consistently lived through for years
Taking my dog to the vet has always been stressful for me. He obviously doesn't like it and also doesn't like being muzzled. He is a sweet dog, but also has the traits of a guard dog. The muzzle is needed to keep the vet's hands safe. He won't bite her otherwise but definitely will if she touches him to poke with a needle and do whatever else she needs to do.
Every time the vet ritual is:
1. From the parking lot to the vet's office is a battle. He will do everything to run, and being a big dog I can't carry him. I cajole him and then trick him into the vet's office.
2. He starts acting like a queen and not allow to be muzzled
3. When he finally decides he is not getting away, he will allow me to put the muzzle on him.
This may not seem like much to be stressed about, but if a reel is made of this madness, you will understand
I always pray and God helps. This time, the "Queen Act" of my dog wasn't for long. It went better than I could even dare to imagine. Praise Jesus!
My mom’s cat, Dave, has a few years on him now, so maybe it’s time for another presidential run?

Yep, he’s found one for VP. It’s gonna be a a girl/woman/hag from Texas. I am not going to mention her, name, I mean his or hers name, but it will be a person who really knows how important it is to pander to the President, in every way possible. A hag, I mean a person, who knows his ways and who will bow down to him and agree with whatever he wants. All hail our Honorary CC Member, Dave!!
You already know he has my vote!
(Did he ever find a running mate for VP?!)

I've sworn off fast food for many years. They're not affordable any more any way.Now I want french fries
When I worked in an arcade in the 80s, the game I played most was Karate Champ. It's considered the grandfather of all the Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter games.I am now being accused of being combative at the same time as not ever having played Mortal Kombat.
Drama on the Forum as usual. Also, it's Pick On Lanolin time again.

Now if mine could just learn that thunderstorms are nothing to be terrified of.
Here it's Guy Fawkes day, when Protestants tit for tat terrorism with Catholics for blowing up British parliament. I don't know why we still celebrate in in NZ. Fireworks are banned in Australia except for the one day on New Years where they let them off by the Sydney Harbour Bridge.Fire crackers terrify my dog. In India there is a festival of the Hindus called Diwali where people go wild bursting crackers. It's a sad time for stray animals as well as pets. Not to forget the air pollution it causes. Before I got saved years ago, I had done my part to polluting the environment and terrifying animals.
