Lots of attitude flying around here lately.

So don't get too worked up over it.

It might have something to do with this. Any reactions?

''A wellness coach who contracted a sexually transmitted disease after having sex with a friend has opened up about how the devastating diagnosis affects her love life.
Rebecca Antonucci, from Perth, WA, was 25 when she contracted herpes from a male companion who said he had a clean sexual health record after a recent check-up.''
Every opportunity comes to you, you make a decision, would you rather marry the person or be single for the rest of your life?
there you will have your answer.

There is no better plan after this one.

Decide between single or marry this one.

Please don't see this as more attitude flying around lol, but there have been a LOT of things said on this forum that made a difference to me, sometimes on a rather grand personal scale. It has happened more times than I can count.

I think you are referring mostly to vain arguments, in which case I generally agree. But the words we post here can have weight and consequences, for good or bad 🙏

Trust issues, a previous bad relationship, finding a mate willing to commit to our Lord's way of life. Any one of these is a valid reason.

Intimacy is the big reason people seek relationships. Take that away and you have the Apostle Paul's suggestion that we remain alone. After my own bouts with the above, I prefer outings with friends, enjoying family events and vacationing with people I care about. I'm 75 years-old, still I understand that people want a loving mate, and some will get lucky and find one. Until then don't stop living your life, because romance is fickle, meaning it has a short shelf life before the real work kicks in, and both have to be willing to put in the effort. Cynical? I am, and I earned it.

Why the dichotomy? There are third options. Like, rejecting one person does not doom to singlehood.

Still not convinced to get better-quality gasoline for your car? Conflict can have positive results. Not everything is happy thoughts.

If Holy spirit telling you there are better ones down the road like supermarket shopping, yeah go ahead.

My point is when one make a decision, one does not know if there is better ones down the road.

Yeah, exactly. You can't control what happens to you or what other people express, but you can control how you react to them, and that's your responsibility. That's been my philosophy.

No that was not a conversation that made a difference on a grand personal scale 😝. Besides, its an F-150, Engine gonna blow up before 150k so why stress about it 😎.

I realize that conflict can have positive results 🙄. But there's a big difference between healthy conflict vs. endless vain disputes. The former I engage in frequently and the latter I try to avoid. Which is why I refrained from commenting on your re-post from twittereX 😊.

I reccomend to use royal purple oil in your engine, diesel duralec even if it's a gasoline. make sure you get your own filter, fram is fine even though people complain about them, but get the ones that are made to be durable, and advertised to last around 20,000 miles.

It's a way to help any engine last a long time.

To anyone who's knowledgable, I reccomend going out of spec with your oil filter, the manufacturer might reccomend a filter that is too bulky or too small to efficienly keep up with oil flow per work load. you just need to try 'eyeballing it' in your head the oil flowing through your bloc, knowing the dynamics of the weight of your oil and how the engine lubricates itself, see the oil getting 'strained' throgh that filter, and judge if it might help to put on a different kind.

also mind the weight of the oil you put into your car.
Do you see the terms like 5W-30, 0W-20, 10W-40? That is the oil weight, or how its 'blood pressure' will be in the car. the W means winter, it's weight at being competely cold in frosty temperatures. 0 is the oil having a consistency like water, and higher numbers are the oil getting thicker from there.

The number after the W number is the weight of the oil when the car is fully heated.

So the oil is thinner when the engine is ice cold, and heavier when the engine is at warmer temperatures (even without starting it)
This is so that the oil can flow in all the intricate parts of the inner workings and lubricate things to protect them from damge even when its cold, because oil that's too thick won't be able to do its job properly.
If you're in a cold environment, you should have lower than 15W, or even 10W. If you live somewhere warm, get yourself as big a W as you want, as long as the overall oil thickness isn't absurdly above what the engine was designed to use.

Also add a bit of marvel mystery oil, to your crankshaft and your gas tank.
And just run midgrade through your tank once a month to keep the fuel injectors clean.

But oh well, no one's going to need this wisdom in a little bit, because there's not enough time for it to matter. The beast is here, this wisdom will be nothing soon. Christ has better things in mind, as far as what being a car owner will be like. We will have engines that don't need oil changes.

We would have to disagree on that one because i thought it relevant and esp for single men who attend church. The exchange was not endless nor was it vain and negative opinion does not change that reality. It just might be information you do not like for whatever reason. The negative reaction from my moral betters here, who are above it all, insinuating my sins (was it misogyny and something else?) aside. It is the issues here that are important, not assessments or ad hominem attacks or judgments from the self-appointed moral police. That is why it is important because it exposes things that are just below the surface. Anyways off to the football game and im sure you all won't miss me.

Hi Beamrider, I'm not sure why you felt the need to warn single men here about a random woman in Western Australia who attends church, has herpes and is reluctant about committing to a mate. But if that's your prerogative then hey, knock yourself out! 🤷‍♀️

I actually wasn't critiquing your exchange with Lovette, that's between the 2 of you. I've argued with him too, I don't judge you for that.

Anyways, if you really do want to have an actual discussion about the post then let me know 😎. Just sayin I'm not really getting that vibe from ya but hey, prove me wrong! 😉

Well I'm glad we can have finished it on friendly terms.
