Hey Everyone!!

So I was trying a new instant noodle bowl (ah, the exciting life of a CC single!,) and it came with not 1, but 3 different packets of additions -- one packet of dried veggies (amounting only to a pile of about the size of an American quarter, bah humbug!), one for the stir-fry sauce, and one... suspiciously labeled, "Dragon Tears."

Now, I'm not keen to the world of hot sauces (or sauces in general,) but apparently it was something like this:

There was no way I was just going to just automatically pour this onto my food -- I admire all the "adventurous" eaters out there -- but I am not one of them. But I did, however, dutifully cut open the packet -- daring to try just the tiniest little taste...

And yes.

I have no doubt that this stuff could make a dragon cry!!! 🐲

Thank goodness the name was a warning right off the bat, am I right? 🤯

I mean, if this stuff would have been called, "Lambie Kisses," I might have been deceived and just dumped in the whole thing into the bowl!! 🐑😆

What about you?

* Have you ever known you were in for a doozie, even just by reading a product's name?

* Have you ever been deceived by a product's name, appearance, or color? (I remember as a kid, when I first tried mint jelly, since it was green -- for some reason, I thought it was going to taste like limes, because I thought mint seemed way too outlandish for a jelly flavor!)

* Do you often pass by certain products just because of their name and/or description? (I tend to dislike anything with a "musk" scent, so I avoid this in fragrances, candles, hand soaps, etc.)

* And on the flipside -- have you ever been doubtful of a product, but picked up anyway -- and found yourself pleasantly surprised instead? Or are you sometimes drawn to products just BECAUSE of their name or color? How did it go? (I admit, I can be a sucker for cleverly named products, depending on what they are.)

I've always thought marketing must be an interesting career -- especially when choosing the names, appearances, and presentation of products.

What have YOUR experiences been with questionably named things?

Inquiring minds want to know! 😆
When I was a kid we went to this Japanese restaurant and there was this little bowl of what looked like mint ice cream so I took a spoon and ate some. It was wasabi. 🥵

I was told that the " Hot" comes from the high mineral content of the peppers. I don't know the truth in that but I just don't understand why folks make stuff so hot you need a snowcone to wipe with.🫩

There's a scale of hotness of chilli pepper called the Scoville scale ..most places give a category of mild, medium and hot.

I can only handle mild.

If there ever was a case of forbidden fruit you could literally die from eating...this is it.

So its not dragonfruit juice then.

That would be what I would think it was if I'd only heard of the name.

Do dragons even have tear ducts? I've never seen one shed so much as a tear.
I dare you to get close enough to a dragon to feed it a couple gallons of that sauce -- and we just might find out!!! 😎🤓😁
Might need to wear fireproof clothing for this experiment

Since it's @Tall_Timbers doubting the questioning the Capacity of Crying when it comes to dragons...

We'll have to request that he posts a picture of his fireproof attire (maybe it it'll be designed to look like a knight?) before his attempt to feed the dragon. :D

Don't worry, @Tall_Timbers, we believe in you!!

We know you've got this. 🔥🧯👨🏼‍🚒🚒🐉

What about 'mountain dew' mouth. Or the drink that used to be called 'mellow yellow' (it wasn't urine)
And Coke doesn't contain cocaine, but also, like Mountain Dew, can rot your teeth.

Why is there no such product as 'coffee drops'?

I don't know of any medicinal coffee drops (they might be out there, but I haven't encountered them yet,) but we definitely have a plethora of foods and candy with coffee in them.

And yes, if I eat enough of these, I can feel the effects of the caffeine -- loud and clear. Same with coffee ice cream, etc.

But I think I'm a lot more sensitive to it than most people.
