Spoken like someone who is deluded by the fake/Marxist media.
Let us see, which electrical source is usual operates at roughly 38% efficiency, but is potentially able to increase its efficiency without increasing fuel costs? Or how about which party has openly admitted a preference for a benevolent dictatorship, as opposed to a democracy. Which party is passing laws requiring women to be in a crisis before being able to get treatment, even though the coming crisis is foreseeable?

To know what is going on in politics, one needs to listen to both sides, not just one. The GOP is not the saints rescuing the USA any more than the Democrats are. The GOP runs off the rails to the right, the Democrats run off the rails to the left. The ongoing veering between the two extremes is dangerous for the country as is blindly following just one party. What we need is for both parties to move back towards the center and work together for the good of the entire country instead of working for the good of their respective party, or even worse, the most vocal extremist of their party

I cannot edit my p[revious reply but I would ask you, you rant a lot about the Marxist/atheist professors and media so I would ask you, how many can you personally identify and know well enough to know that they truly hold such views? It is easy to paint a generic group with a broad brush, but groups are made up of individuals who may or may not fit the description used to describe them. Are you simply quoting what you have been told. or do you have personal knowledge to support your claims. Personally ,I know of no Marxist/atheistic professors, and I know several professors at multiple colleges and universities.

It is obvious that you do not pay attention to MAGA media such as Newmax and RAV.
Your personal knowledge contradicts AI, which reports the following:
    • Voter Registration and Public Data: Research analyzing public voter registration and campaign contributions across public universities (such as a study covering 33 public flagship universities) estimates that an average of 41% of faculty are registered Democrats, compared to roughly 12% registered Republicans, with the remainder unaffiliated or non-partisan.
    • Specific Institutions: Individual campus audits show much higher concentrations. For example, a faculty political diversity report at Yale University found that 82.3% of identified faculty members were registered Democrats or leaned heavily toward Democratic candidates, compared to 2.3% Republicans.

The DSA movement has taken control of the Democrat party, and according to official platforms, statements from co-chair Megan Romer, and political analyses, the DSA's core policy advocacies include:

    Healthcare and Social Services
    • Medicare for All: Implementation of a single-payer, universal healthcare system that eliminates private health insurance to guarantee medical care to all residents.
    • Universal Social Support: Fully funded public education (including tuition-free public college), universal child care, paid family leave, and a federal jobs guarantee.
    • Social Housing: Massive public investment in expanding publicly owned housing networks to guarantee housing as a right. Tenant Protections: Instituting universal rent control, heavily regulating corporate investment properties, and guaranteeing a right to legal counsel for tenants facing eviction.
    • Public Utilities: A public takeover of essential utilities, such as electricity and water, to prioritize human needs over profit margins.
    • Worker Empowerment: Strengthening labor unions, expanding worker rights, and increasing democratic control and collective ownership within workplaces.
  • Taxing the Wealthy: Financing social programs by significantly raising progressive taxes on corporations, billionaires, and high-income earners.
  • Government Restructuring: Replacing or drastically altering foundational U.S. institutions, including proposals to abolish the U.S. Senate and replace the presidency and the Supreme Court.
  • Immigration: Abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), eliminating national borders, and granting amnesty to undocumented individuals.
  • Foreign Policy and Defense: Defunding the Pentagon, ending U.S. military interventionism, and stopping all U.S. military aid to Israel via an immediate arms embargo.
  • Criminal Justice: Dismantling a prison and policing system that they argue protects capital over people, shifting resources toward defunding the police and refunding community social programs.
  • Transgendering: The DSA unequivocally supports transgender people and trans liberation and describes itself as one of the largest organizations of transgender people in the nation and considers trans rights and bodily autonomy to be a core pillar of its socialist platform.

IOW, communism, atheism, immorality, poverty, and enslavement!
  • No thanks, I believe it is God's will for Christians to vote a straight Republican ticket in the midterm election.

Actually, I do pay attention to such claims. But these claims do not make anyone an atheist/Marxist unless you change the definitions. At best these claims are only partial truths, at worst they are outright lies and distortions designed to scare the populace. Unchecked Capitalism is anti-Christian, many of these choices are designed to limit capitalism. Unchecked Socialism is likewise anti-Christian. There is no Christian government possible, as there is political party that is Christian in orientation, just ones that attempt to wrap themselves in Christian coverings as they act on sinful, anti-Christian principles. Look at the candidates as individuals, evaluate them on their behavior, including their willingness to uphold and defend the Constitution and fight corruption, and then make a choice on individual candidates without regards to political party.

The message of Christianity is love for the neighbor, not the fellow citizen of your preferred nation and definitely not for some human created entity called a corporation. Capitalism is not a Christian virtue, it is a human created game to reward certain humans over others based on human values, not God's. In God's eyes all humans are equally worthy of good things, no differences based on education, race, gender identity or family background. National boundaries are the result of humans claiming, "this is mine/ours, not God's". Laws are necessary in our sinful world, but the laws should apply equally to all, not preference given to some over others, that is just entrenching sin within the system.

And I would note, my extended family includes politically connected individuals within both major parties. Cousins on one side have gotten invitations to invitation only events with only 4 people per state receiving invitations to a free event that the President will be at. Cousins on the other side have had future/past presidents at their home for private holiday parties. Which side to I tend to agree with politically? For a few decades I have known who to can get me in direct contact with the President with only Trump being the exception, so who was the first president that I had such access available to? For which party was I a delegate for a state-level convention in which it was openly admitted that the party would lie to protect their reputation (both parties have done so)?
When you can answer all these questions you may accuse me of political ignorance.

What you fail to acknowledge is that the USA has checks and balances that the Marxist/DSA Dems want to end.
The only individual Dem I might consider voting for is Fetterman.
Communism is the epitome of entrenching evil within the system.

We are not living in the past; you and your relatives need to update your understanding of the current political situation:
we are one election away from becoming controlled by the communists, and if your family supports that--
then a pox on your house!

How We Got Here: A Summary

After declaring independence from England in 1776, winning it in the Revolutionary War and defending it in the War of 1812, slavery caused the Civil War in 1860 and then struggles for equality and the right for all citizens to vote threatened our unity. In the 1900s, dictators attacked freedom, provoking World War I in 1914, WWII in 1940 and the Korean War in 1950. Then the high cost and eventual loss of both the Vietnam War in 1973 and the War on Islamic Terrorists from 9-11-91 until 2019 divided and damaged our country. Today (2022) our nation that began as a republic established by the U.S. Constitution appears to be in danger of becoming an authoritarian socialist state.

Again, the threat is that our disunity will end in Communism, which governs most of the world and almost every aspect of our society–education, entertainment, news, social media, banking and monopolistic businesses–corrupting politicians and elections. The main cause of this corruption is that following WWII America allowed subversive educators to infiltrate universities, including Herbert Marcuse and Marxist Saul Alinsky, whose book “Rules for Radicals” was dedicated to Satan and whose rules included deception and violence (the end justifies the means).

The teachings of such radical professors has influenced many college students (including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama) to favor socialist policies. (See “The War for America’s Soul” by Gorka, p. 59-65.) Many Americans are oblivious to the slow disintegration of the Constitutional consensus, because the owners of most news media were similarly educated and sympathetic.

A main financier of the socialist movement was George Soros, who became a billionaire, established a network called the Open Society Foundation to promote a global government, and since 2003 financed numerous socialist groups in the U.S. (See “The Shadow Party” by Horowitz & Poe, p. 78-95 & 177-82.)

Other leaders of the globalist cabal or “new world order” are members of the World Economic Forum, which meets annually in Davos, Switzerland. They envision a technological revolution that transforms the world (including America), converting humans who freely worship God into drones coerced by a fascist-communist state as in China. (See “The Great Reset” by A. Jones, p. 4-7, 28 & 95.)

The globalists began to conspire with communist China (the CCP) in 1978, when the Trilateral Commission befriended Chinese leaders and sought a New International Economic Order. Since then the CCP has pursued a clever strategy that has steadily weakened the U.S. as China gained power, currently on display as its military buildup, the COVID-19 pandemic, aggression against Taiwan and the “One Road One Belt” policy. It aims to surpass the U.S. and dominate Eurasia by the year 2049. (See “Reset”, p. 40-44 & “War”, p. 136.)

Finally the authoritative Biden administration weakened the U.S. and attempted to banish conservative Constitutionalist opposition. Much of the news media failed to report this truth, so that many people remained ignorant of the dissolution of the American dream of liberty for all (like frogs being boiled alive because the water temperature is raised slowly).

Recently, Trump and MAGA folks are trying to avert disaster, but the Democrats are mainly Marxists, so we are only one election and generation away from a communist coup. Will elections promote or delay our demise?

Maybe you haven't been able to read between the lines. The party demanding democracy is the one trying to take it away. The ones demanding that we uphold the Constitution are the ones trying to tear it down. The ones accusing Trump and Republicans of committing corruption are the ones committing corruption while trying to point fingers in the opposite direction to distract and confuse you while they continue their corruption.

National boundaries are necessary to protect countries from other countries with corrupt populations, in which there are plenty. History has proven that mixing cultures doesn't work well either. While God may view everyone as the same, many cultures aren't capable of adopting the culture of the country they are living in, which is ANOTHER reason why there is so much violence between people of cultures within a country.

Likewise, you know so well what the Lord's Word teaches, which is why you quote so much scripture which according to scripture is not God's word. Scripture defines God's word as a living being, not recorded words.

The Bible defines them as both. Maybe you should familiarize yourself with Matthew 4:4 and Luke 4:4 and Luke 24:44.

Our Constitution has checks and balances to prevent any one part of the government getting too much control. IKs that why a president who has stated that a benevolent dictatorship would be better than a democracy, acts as if he is a dictator ignoring laws and the Constitution, and the GOP is not standing up and calling him out as they did with Nixon?

Hint, insider trading is illegal, the SEC enforces that rule, but when the person doing the insider trading can command the SEC to not investigate, we have a problem. Trump did file his financial disclosure form for 2025, and it was over 200 pages for one year. I am not certain that any other president has had that many pages over four years. Some actions reportedly took place shortly before a relevant presidential announcement, that perfectly fits the definition of insider trading.

Might I suggest that you wake up and realize what is being done to the Constitution, anyone who has ever taken an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution should be appalled at what is happening, not applauding, that is if their oath means anything.

Only Congress can declare war, tariffs are under the control of Congress elections are under the control of the states unless Congress passes some new law to change part of that control. now which of these things has Trump not tried to get around while upholding his oath the support and defend the Constitution? And that is ignoring that Trump has stated that a benevolent dictatorship would be better than our democracy. Are you ready to give up our democracy?

You might want to do some research on what a President can and can't do before you just assume anything. The President has 60 days to do whatever he feels needs to be done before he has to take it up with Congress regarding war. Same thing with tariffs. You might want to look up both sides of that argument before you just decide who was right or wrong on that one.

I don't care what Trump said about what he thought would be better. Maybe you should look up the word "Democracy" and how it is used to govern. They don't all have the same definition.

Trump is the LAST person you have to worry about when it comes to democracy. We voted him in as President for a reason, to deliver to the people, but the Democrats don't want him to be able to deliver anything because it makes them look worse than they already do. Is Trump going to use every weapon in his Presidential arsenal to deliver what he promised to us? You bet! That doesn't mean he's breaking any laws, even if the Democrats lead the gullible and naive to believe so.

Those who do not learn from history repeat its mistakes. You and most other MAGA's do not seem to know your political history.

Make America Great Again dates back to the same era as "trickle down" economics, and the same source. "Trickle down" economics was touted as a means of equalizing wealth, and the result has been the complete opposite. But many of the roots go even deeper, back to before teh American Civil War in this country and are born out of FEAR. Now scripture teaches us that perfect love casts out all fear and that Christians are called to be loving and strive for perfection. Is that why so many professing Christians base their politics on fear?

You try to dodge, assign labels to all who differ with you, but you fail to recognize others as individuals, that likely takes too much effort. Marxism is a very specific ideology that is not widespread in any generalized segment of the American populace, except in the eyes of those who wish to simplify their politics and ignore reality, a childish approach.

Grow up and face reality, Trump has the same feet of clay as all other politicians, but an unusually fragile ego.

The point is we should not worship any political figures.
We should be allowed to criticize.
Some have made an idol of Trump. Even Moses, david.... were criticized.

I personally think Trump s 1st term was good. But 2nd term, not sure he is showing his true color, or he caved in to enemy, or people worship him too much that spoiled him.

If in David's case, God sent Nathaniel to scold David. What a blessing!

Let's check a few things here. You associate socialism with Marxism, they are technically not the same, but you equate them so let's check to see where you land. Do you support pensions of any king, governmental, military or even from corporations? Why you Socialist, oops. Marxist. Do you like public roads, libraries, schools, even internet sites where one does not have to pay a fee to use them such as ChristianChat? Why you socialist, oops, I should have said Marxist again, shame on me. How about insurance of any kind, where those who do not need the benefits support those who do? Why you Marxist, that is another socialist idea.

Gee, you are a closet Marxist and condemn yourself.

Now want to try again and not be a hypocrite? As I have said before, going too far to the right or the left is bad. We need both sides to correct each others abuses.
