Except one of those "mob bosses" happens to be the high priest and king of heaven, whom the religious bosses in modern Israel seek to replace with a messiah of their own.

That wasn't who he was talking about. The Catholic church would have egg all over their face when Jesus returns to prove them wrong on where the next kingdom takes place.

Jesus said him they rejected but they will embrace another true that is to be to my understanding the first.3.5 yrs of the trib.
Whether he is seen as their messiah remans suspect.

Let's not kid ourselves. There are going to be a lot of people who think they are Christian who are going to fall into the same trap.

But you have already accepted an earthly prophet, priest, king, sacrifice and temple.
In what sense are you not already in that trap?

And it did.

Maybe you should review John 19 and Romans 11 again.

John 19:37 - And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

John 19:37 and Romans 11 correlate thematically by linking the physical piercing of Jesus to the future national salvation of Israel. John 19:37 quotes Zechariah 12:10, prophesying that Israel will one day look upon the one they pierced with mourning and repentance.

Romans 11 expands on this by describing a future "fullness of the Gentiles" followed by the salvation of "all Israel," fulfilling the hope of national restoration. Both passages present the piercing of the Messiah not just as a historical execution, but as the catalyst for a future spiritual awakening and turning to God by the Jewish people.

Revelation 1:7 - Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Judisim says he must be a direct descendant of king David line. Now you and I know that we speculate who it might be but never heard of it to be Jewish.

I won't be the one fooled by the Anti-Christ because I know what the scriptures say.

I won't be fooled because I will not be on the earth at the time he is revealed. And neither will you.

However it is likely that @Beekeeper will be around to figure it all out ex post facto. I mean he repudiates and denies the doctrine of the rapture every time it crops up right?

There is no discussion of a national restoration in R.11.
Paul predicts a Christian revival of a Jewish remnant living in his "present time".
Why should I not consider that he was referring to the revival that happened after he wrote the letter, i.e. before 70 AD?

But the scriptures also say "what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God" (2 Cor.6:16).
There is no violation more direct and literal to that than the building of a "third" temple out of stone.
If Paul or an angel from heaven were to have agreement with that it would still be idolatry in the most direct sense.
Yet it seems that you actually have agreement with all of that.
You will not need to be fooled by Antichrist, because you are completely fooled already.

LOL! I know the rumors, but always looked at them as more of a False Prophet than the Anti-Christ.

Study the trial of Jesus then look at the scripture that say he was cut short. And come to know the seat of Moses.
One of the worst things to happen to the church was to separate from the Jews. Very few people study there beliefs and way of thinking.
Jesus Christ was sentenced to death for blasphemy, can you tell me why? According to scripture it's a unpardonable sin.
Jesus was also rejected as their messiah can you tell me why. Or anyone else here, if so without Google or A.I.
If you can you or whomever you are better than most.
Most people look into the Christian view of the gospels. The gospels are very Jewish.
This might be the first time here that some never knew that the jews also believe the Messiah must come from the line of David.
But how many theologians point to this when or even think of this when they think of anti christ where he would come out of.
So yes suspect that jews see anti-Christ as messiah, un known.

The Jews have already recognized their Messiah? Ahhh, when did that happen?
I take that question on a case by case basis,
But there are many, so the answer is long.
The biggest one-time Christian revival of the Jews that I know about happened in the first century.
