Please show me where I participated in sinful behavior.

I'm totally on board with what you're saying.

I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've been to the bar. I'm not a drinker, as I believe I'm allergic (never been tested, but I just know alcohol makes me sick, so I stay away from it, except in recipes.)

Most of the times I did go, it was as the designated driver.

Some people don't go to the bar to drink or do anything unlawful -- some of us go because we care about what happens to other people.

I'm friends with a couple who've been in ministry all their lives. They make arrangements with bar and club owners to go in, talk to the workers and sometimes the patrons, and bring them food and gifts. This includes "gentlemen's clubs," where the girls working there have often come from very rough backgrounds. They talk to people about their lives, and how much God loves them.

Obviously, they're not there to drink and party.

Rather, they actively demonstrate the love of Jesus in a real, tangible way.

It makes you wonder how often critics of such people are actually showing the love of Jesus to others themselves.

I think Christians are obviously aware that getting drunk and living life immorally is wrong.

As far as bars go, I used to go to one everyday. Mind you, my family owned it and I was just popping in to say hi, not have a drink. Out in the country, it was where people went to socialize. Some people would just have a soda.

And what about eateries that are called, Bar & Grill, those are some of my faves! My favorite one serves bull fries. I wouldn't be a proper Okie if I didn't have a nice cold local beer while I enjoy my bull fries!! The only one who outta consider that wrong is the bull 🐂 😏

I actually had to look up just now what "bull fries" are. Alrighty then!

Yeah, kind of agree, holding a gun does not equal to murder.

Bar was originally a meeting, social place. People can go there for soda, water, light beer... a place to hangout.
No, there are community centers, pubs, diners and other open places for that. Bars sell alcoholic beverages. It's not prejudice, just commen sense.

Is it actually the most tasty food in the world? Now I'm even more intrigued.

Well, of course, everyone's tastebuds are different. I just happen to think think that there's just about nothing better than a nice plate of bull fries. A lot of people will not even try them. My best friend is one of those people.
To me, they have a nice texture and a nice taste.

Now I want to try them, actually. At the same time, I don't.

I think getting drunk and hanging out with drunkards are sinful by biblical standard. I don't know about you, but I don't expect to meet someone sober in a place built for drunkards and scoundrels.
If Jesus were still walking the earth he probably would spend a lot of time in the bars. He goes where the sick people are. All the friends of Jesus were sinful by biblical standards.

There must be a lot of neutered bulls 'out of service'. Wow!

.

No, I meant once you're actually "boyfriend" and "girlfriend." If I'm having a first date with a woman, she's not my girlfriend. If the date went well and we both want a second date, then we're making progress, but we're still not boyfriend and girlfriend. At some point, though you decide that you're a good fit and that the relationship has the potential for marriage, right?
That's generally how it goes Rod.

Except he didn't. He went to a wedding and a private party. Neither is an equivalent of a bar built for selling alcoholic beverages.

Only if you deliberately attend the bar that sells alcohol. If not, then there's no such thing, no need to be fretful.
You cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth and wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his face shine and bread to strengthen man's heart. - Psalm 104:14-15

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit. - Ephesians 5:18:
Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaints? Who has needless bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes? Those who linger over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed wine. - Proverbs 23:29–30
