If you notice, this thread was started years ago, and the OP was only married months ago. So yeah. Also, the 'singles' and 'teens' and other forums are not restricted only to those criteria. I'm neither a teen or young adult and i check those forums. Mods are aware of this and it is acceptable.
Also, not all 'singles' threads are strictly about being single, some are silly. And this 'married' person may have friends that post here frequently they want to keep in touch with.

And clappay, I'm not sure! It's probably something different with each person you wanted to woo. *shrugs* if you're in good speaking terms with them ask 'em why it didn't last or somethingg. :/ or possibly you just havent found a match yet.. Maybe you thought you did but you didn't mesh well enough together to make it last. no one ever showed interest in me until Wes.. So I was blessed enough not to deal with heartbreak or worrying that something was wrong with me or if some guy just wasn't compatible with me from the start.

I have to commend the author that first originated this post (I think that was you, Betsy?); I have seen this numerous times through the forum and I can't help but roll my eyes when I see it sometimes - But not TOO much, because I almost did it when I first joined a year and a half ago - LOL. I understand what you all are saying, though, about just needing the advice and support, and I agree fully

I think its fun to read peoples "i need a husband / wife" threads. Im wondering why it bothers people so much. A lot of people have met their spouses on here, including the OP So why shouldn't this site be used as a tool for finding someone....

Oh!! Apparently when viewing this on my iphone, ipad and computer they all decide to show me different "last viewed posts" so i didn't realize you had revived it Clappay! I'm sorry! hahaha

And yes, as Ug pointed out.. I started this thread in March of 2009 and got married July of this year.. i just happened to stumble across it again when Clappay revived this post to get my attention or something like that haha!

And I normally stick to the Ladies, Family and Young Adults topics but! I must say .. SeoulSearch normally has some awesome posts that I just HAVE to read! So I do poke in here once in awhile. Sorry if that bothers some people. :-/

Fair enough. I'm not saying that this forum is ONLY singles and ONLY singles can look and we MUST talk about single stuff only. I just thought it was interesting that this was a complaint about a single forum that singles are doing. I guess I feel like if I went to the teen forum or the mens forum (if there is such a thing) and ranted about not liking what they were posting about I would feel like it wouldn't be my personal place to complain. Unless it was harmful. I'm all for people who are married encouraging and giving advice and what-not, just given the situation and the subject matter I thought it was a little ironic and had to ask.

But please don't take away the fact that I do agree with this post and glad she posted it!
