I don't go looking for wolves either, just point them out when they appear.

Most of the time the people who sympathize with them get offended and proclaim very loudly the doctrine of postmodern tolerance and acceptance.

Perhaps we should teach Mormon doctrine too, they too claim their beliefs are based on the Bible. Book of Mormon, Dead sea scrolls why not allow both be taught? they're brothers and sisters in Christ right?

I mean where do you draw the line?

Personally I draw it along with these beliefs:

that JESUS CHRIST IS GOD and He saves by Grace through faith in that His death on the cross He made atonement for sins, He rose again the third day and now rules in Heaven and will come again to judge the living and the dead and establish a NEW Heaven and a NEW Earth.

Without faith in GOD who is Jesus Christ, then nothing you do or say will be pleasing to GOD.

I'm not offended at all. (if you were addressing me). And maybe you do have a point.... There is right and there is wrong.

I believe you are absolutely wrong in much your belief. You are blinded and influenced by tradition.

Jesus Christ is the SON of God who lived a sinless life, then gave it for you and me. Three days later, God, Jesus Christ's Father, raised him from the dead. Christ is the perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind. People are saved when they choose to believe on Him. Jesus Christ will return: First, to gather together the church. Then seven years later, he will return TO the earth as King of kings and Lord of lords to fight Armageddon and set up the millennial kingdom, which will be here on earth and Christ will BE HERE, ruling with a rod of iron. At the end of the thousand years, satan will be loosed to deceive the nations. God will destroy his army with fire from heaven.

The question is not what I believe or what you believe but what GOD taught and what the disciples believed and what the doctrine of the Apostles really was. I plan on doing a study on the writings of the church fathers. that should help clear up some of the misunderstanding, perhaps.

The question remains, what is sound doctrine?

Many here profess the trinity. A few do not. Who is right?

Some here say we must keep the sabbath, some do not. Who is right?

Many here are Calvinists, many are not. Who is right?

Many here think we are living the end of the book of Revelation, some do not. Who is right?

Some here believe the "gifts" have stopped, some do not. Who is right?

Many here believe death is a "separation". Some believe death is death. Who is right?

-ALL- of us claim to base what we believe on the bible. As do I.

I love it when a couple of people who happen to believe the same start talking about everyone else as being "sheep in wolves clothing". Are you so damned sure you're right that you feel justified condemning those who don't believe as you do to being the antichrist?

Pride and ignorance abounds.

It goes down to the question "What is truth"? What does the Bible say is truth? Psalms 119:142 says that God's Law is truth, so then whatever is not of His Law is not truth. That may be a topic for another thread.
