Dear Selenah,

All these questions will be answered in time by Him.
The Love of God is somewhat different than the love we share as
humans.

It is far Greater, and Unconditional, this is Grace.
Without respect of persons.

Just enjoy your Salvation in Him.
And Ask Him, that is where all your answers that come
will be more meaningfull to you than from us.

Even though we are willing to help, we can not have you
experience Him, and that is where most of your answers will
be found, in experiencing Him everyday, and in everyway.
How am I supposed to enjoy salvation when the more I obey God the more God tests me and the more I fail Him? I finally reach a point where I'm doing what God wants and happy, and then God lets something happen that completely crushes me. I ask Him not to do that but it happens again the next day. Does God want us to be unhappy?

Dear Selenah,

Of course He wants us to be happy, But in Him, not the world.

Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
We must learn to Trust Him as a Father, that He knows best
for us.

Our Faith is Tried, and put through the fire:

1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

I've been in this walk with Him for some time now, and I still learn from Him
and hopefully Grow in Him as well.

Your young, He will show you, give it time, Give Him time.

Blessings

It's a disease of modern Christianity to think that our lives are about our eternal destiny and that nothing else matters. Getting to heaven for most folks is their entire religion. Jesus spoke about a lot more than that, though.

How is a Christian supposed to answer this question

"If Heaven is perfect happiness, and Hell is the opposite, how can a mother be happy in heaven if her son is sent to hell? If we're changed THAT MUCH bny going into heaven mightn't we as well be dead?"
In heaven there will be no familial relationship as existed here on earth. There is even some question whether you will remember anything from here on the earth.

We need to learn how to live in such a way so we can enjoy what the Lord has created for us. In other words, we need to learn to love the Lord with all our hearts, minds, and souls, and love our neighbors as ourselves.

I know Matthew's text does not distinguish a difference, but I was immediately drawn to see an "Agape" vs. "Phileo" idea at work in this question. Love for God must surpass love for family and friends. This will obviously present itself as extremely difficult for many, and it will no doubt draw questions in many. If I find myself positing the thought, "What sort of God would allow...?" then I might assume I am not obeying/following Christ's first command. This would hopefully bring me to a repentant posture asking God to help me see whatever it is I've let get between my soul and His Holy Spirit.

So, answer this with Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths."

Thank God for Jesus.

John 12:25 NAS

"He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal."

We are all here on this earth so that by free will we decide our fate, to accept and love God or reject Him. There is a hell and there are souls that have decided their fate by rejecting God, as Lucifer did.

Selena you should make good use of your suffering by offering up your sufferings to God through His Son Our Lord Jesus Christ along with your prayer intentions. By offering up your sufferings you unite them with the sufferings of Christ and empower your prayer intentions. Your sufferings will become less burdensome because your gift of Love will transform your wasted suffering to a positive force that strengthens your love for God.

But why does God make us suffer. I think I just sprained my ankle a couple of hours ago. To make it worse I can't go to the doctor because I razored up my arm a couple of days ago. Why does God turn pain into more pain? Why does God let stuff like this happen

You who say all will be saved.. you need to read your Bible. Do you not understand the parables of Jesus?

Matthew 25

1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
The doors of repentance along with the gates of heaven shall be closed when Jesus returns for His people.

30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Last time I checked, there was no weeping and gnashing of teeth in heaven.

31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
It is pretty clear that people will be punished eternally in fire.

The closer we are to God, the more the devil tries to attack us. It could be physical pain, mental pain, emotional pain, etc. God loves to test our faith. If you read about all the things Paul went through because he testified about Jesus, you'd be in total awe. He didn't give in, his faith was strong. Serve God through the good times and the bad times. :)

Matthew 27:32 NIV

As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross.

Suffering is a Grace from God. Simon represents man in the carrying of the cross, God expects us to participate since it's our sins that Jesus is paying for. Suffering now is much better than paying later in purgatory as the following passage shows.

1 Corinthians 3:10-17

10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. 14 If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. 15 If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames. 16 Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple.

And we don't need to know why. Think on John 6:5-6 V5 "Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, 'Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?' V6 But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. V7 Philip answered Him, 'Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.'"

What was in Jesus' heart? Don't you think He just longed for Philip to answer, "Lord, I know you can feed all of these people!" God is always giving us opportunities to stand up and express our faith!

James 1:12 is powerful for those ready to commit themselves to pursuing God. Remember, Christ baptizes and refines us with fire. We are to endure so that in the end, as the first fruits of Christ, we are as James says in v27, "unspotted from the world." This is the bride that the Lord is seeking, and certainly the one He deserves.

Selena, follow Jesus. He wept tears of blood in the garden for you. Let His example be your posture. On your knees, cry out to the Father. Pray, and pray, and pray. And, be thankful that you are a work in progress of being made in the likeness of the King. Thank God for Jesus, that you know Him and that He has you posting on a site where you may hear words of encouragement from others who will get on their knees on your behalf.

And know that your original question could be answered by your faith, "I trust in you my God, even though I don't understand. Just like Philip's lack of understanding how God could feed 5000 from 5, so do I lack understanding about a mother's grief for a son in Hell. But Lord, help me know your Word, and help me trust and believe in your provision." Bless you.

I don't think you will know if someone didn't make it or not...in heaven, I believe there is no sorrow or sadness. I think you won't have emotions like we have in the flesh.
