Ok, From what I have read in this thread And from what I Already know.....Praise be to the God who created the heavens and the earth!!!! christians that are not Catholic, And follow the TRUE Word of God........... ARE THE REAL AND ONLY CHILDREN OF GOD, THE ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD!!

THIS IS NOT A CATHOLIC SITE IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM............ NOT MORMAN,,,,, NOT CALVINISM,,,, NOT JEHOHAV WITNESS,,, AND SO ON......

IF IT IS NOT BASED ON THE ONE TRUE WORD OF GOD......IT IS NOT OF GOD!!! THE BIBLE SAY """ANY ONE"""" COME SPEAKING ANY OTHER GOSPEL ( WHICH IS NO GOSPEL) TO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOUSE....... NEITHER BID HIM GOD SPEED ( GOD BLESS YOU) ..... OR ELSE YOU WOULD PARTAKERS IN THEIR INIQUITY..............

I thank God for those who come here of all religions and truly welcome them to come and let us sit and reason together.......... but when they come ""PREACHING"" a false doctrine and saying they are our brothers and sisters........I see the devil hand in it.... to make others to think or believe that we are all of one God to lead many to stray from the truth unto eternal destruction.

I pray to "" YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST: My GOD!! ) Lord that all who come with lies, will leave with the truth......... and let not one who is seeking the truth believe none of the lies. EVERY ONE A MAN PRAYS TO WHO IS NOT GOD HIMSELF......... A DEVIL IS STANDING IN HIS/HER PLACE. God said they know not who they pray to, they pray to devils....... just like every false god of the Old and New testament are giving human names....... so do the catholic church and every other religion who worship and pray to someone other than God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.......

even the church of Satan call lucifer,,,,,lord, god, holy spirit and any other name that is linked to idolatry. look at how they announce their saints.............. "" the saint .... of war, or love, or peace and so on..... does it not sound like the god of war, the god of peace, the god of love......

I pray Lord God, you remove the veils from their hearts and minds the the god of this world have placed upon them.... the they hearing,,, may hear... they seeing... my see, that they harden not their hearts ..... hearing thy voice as your Holy Word is spoken.... opening their hearts and receive your truth.... and live and walk in it..........that they may live in the rest eternally for eternity.... IN THE HOLY NAME PF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST DO I PRAY UNTO YOU HOLY FATHER GOD......... AMEN!!!

So you're saying you are glad you are not going to be with the one true God, if you are not going to be with the Lord God through Christ Jesus....... your eternal end will be in the same place Satan and all unbelievers will be...... I said nothing wrong, but the flesh can not understand nor receive that of the Spirit. the prayer is for all unbelievers..................... though All are God's creation.... NOT ALL ARE HIS CHILDREN...

I used to believe that. Then I really studied what the Catholic Church taught and compared it to Scripture and historical Christian teachings. Guess what! I became Catholic! :D

Good thing the saints aren't dead! And we know from the Scriptures they pray for us and watch us down here. :)

The following still stands

Most assuredly they are in spiritual form and are not spiritually dead, but their physical form is dead.

I know I am playing in a dangerous zone, but so assured am I by the Holy Spirit, that I purpose to you the following,

Show me just one verse from the Bible, not the Catholic Bible, where praying to the physical dead, including those saints who are in Heaven, is approved by God and I will pray my heart out to whatever saint you can phantom up in your imagination. I will even help you, every single person physically dead in Christ is a saint. I will further help you out, show me where praying to even an angel is OK.

For clarity, prayer means: to entreat, invoke, praise, venerate.

If you cannot, then you, on your part, will give consideration to praying to saints.

OK?

So let me see here. You're insisting that I show one verse. And then you redefine "prayer". It's a catch-22. If I show you one verse that can be interpreted my way, you'll point to your definition of prayer and do a gotcha. If I point out that "prayer" has more definitions than what you said, you'll accuse me of trying to manipulate things. If I point out references to the intercession of the saints in Heaven from within the first century of Christianity, you'll get mad and insist I use Scripture only. And if I do find a single verse like you want, you'll just say it's obvious that I'm misinterpreting things.

So, why should I play your game? You are insisting that somehow death can separate us from our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. That despite the clear Scriptures showing that the saints in Heaven are aware of us, that they do watch what we do, cheer us on when we repent, offer their prayers in heaven to the Lord, and the clear words of Our Lord Himself saying that they're not dead, we can't ask them to pray for us. And that it's somehow an abomination to ask a fellow Christian, alive in Christ, to pray for us because we are still here on Earth and they've been made holy and entered Heaven.

I see the clear words of Scripture telling us that the saints in heaven are not dead. You insist otherwise. Why should we believe you over the words of Scripture?

The only catch 22 there were was that I knew that praying to the physical dead, or even angels, was not in the Bible. And, as you say, "If I show you one verse that can be interpreted my way" is exactly what we do not need to do, but in all cases, allow the Truth to be spoken.

There is no denying that we hae a great cloud of saintly witnesses in Heaven, but where does it say that we are to pray to them so that they can bring our prayers to God? Is there but one example where a saint in Christ has delivered up a prayer to God for the living? Oh, but I can show you where a living saint has prayed for another.

Everything you said were words of emotions, not one scriptural truth said. I was even combining difinitions to help you along that quest, but allow me to give you not my difiniton but Strongs'.

In particular I think this is one of those "oral unwritten Traditions" you hate so much. In Israel you can still find Jews at the graves of holy men asking for their prayers so it isn't entirely unfounded, the Talmud also mentions it if I remember right.

It is quite a catch-22 since you have limited the field of usable evidence to strictly the Protestant 66 book canon, completely excluding the additional 7 books in Catholic Bibles and the Early Church Fathers. If you want us to defend what we believe fine, but we're going to do it based on sources we accept and not the ones you dictate.

Then it would seem only fair to concede that such a doctrine cannot be found when operating on the basis of Sola Scriptura pertaining to the 66 books of the Holy Bible.
