Aww sis. Thats satan, He does not want you to study and find Gods truth, and your flesh is right there with him.
It takes time to overcome these things. You need to get with other believers, who will help you with these things and help you in your struggles.
One thing in my life I have learned, When I want to move forward, I am attacked from all sides. If we were not attacked, Then I would worry. We are only attacked because they know we can cause damage to them if we allow God to work in us.

We have to remember that we are not saved because we are worthy but, because He is worthy. When we pray for forgiveness we may not feel forgiven but, the Bible says we are, we need to trust in the word of God and not our feelings.

It's not that simple when you have one side telling this young girl that she must trust only in God's grace alone for her salvation (the truth), and on the other side you have wolves who continually preach a works works works (falsehood) gospel to win God's favor.
I'm sorry, when it comes to truth I must speak. It is because I care for this young girls eternal welfare that I must speak. She needs to hear theses things because she will always be exposed to these ones who will tell her that if she only does this, or only cleans up that aspect of her life, then she will be saved. It makes me want to vomit when I hear these men teach such things, and especially to the young and/or weak Christians on this site.

last question. Have you called out on God to save you? Not the sinners prayer like everyone says, But actually in faith talked to God, told him you believe and trust him, and ask him to save you. in faith.

You know you might laugh, and thats ok, I did the same thing/. I must have prayed a sinners prayer a hundred times, It was not until someone sat me down, Showed me what Christ did, and what he promised concerning my sin, my judgment and his gift. That I did it and actually believed it to be true. I was about 7 at the time, I can remember it like it was yesterday. it was then that I knew I was saved, And that nothing could separate me from Gods love.
Of course I did not tell him I did it that many times, He thought that was my first time. I was probably saved the first time I did it. Just did not understand what it meant, It was when he took the time to explain it to me that it became real.

if you did it and believed it, I believe you are saved. I also see other proofs of your salvation.
1. You are chastened when you sin. Unlike before. Only a child of God is chastened
2. you are attacked by your flesh and other forces when you want to move forward.
3. Like all of us, you struggle with the flesh and spirit.
A non believer would not have these things or struggles. Only a child of God does my sis.

And don't forget, Selenah, you can talk to God about anything. If you feel you have no faith or trust, tell Him that. Ask Him for the faith and trust in Christ that you need. Remember the man who cried out to Jesus, "I believe, help my unbelief"? That is honesty with God. We can't shock God, He knows everything that's in our heart already. If you are being tempted with thoughts to not believe, tell Him about it, and ask Him for help.
Jesus experienced temptations that we can't even begin to understand, so He knows, and is willing, to help us when we are in trouble.

Selenah,
I, and I am sure most here, have went through the same process in my early walk with God. For me personaly, I thought God was mad at me for having "sinned", so why should I even waste my time reading His word when I was condemned. As I grew in my walk with Him, I realized repentance for the act was the thing which "releases" the guilt of having offened God. It is with true repentance by the conviction of the Spirit which one is "re-harmonize" with Abba. Then I learned that faith alone in Christ Jesus is what saved me.
May I suggest that you give more and more heed to that flickering voice of your mind who is the Spirit. It is the One who leads to the Light, the light of God's glory, where God is present. Focus your mind (eyes) upon the Light. God bless you sister.

Sel, I have a question for you, and, sorry, if its already been asked, Ive only looked thru 35 of the 40 pages, lol, but, since you asked originally, 'Can someone lose their salvation?' , can you explain how that affects if you will believe in God as your Saviour ?
Have you asked God to forgive your sins a few times now since doing this thread may 5, 2011, and, just keep thinking , 'I am not good enough yet to have You, Lord, I have still more things to repent of.' ?
Milady, if this is your reasoning you could die in your sins ( hey, sinski, TOMMY, jimmy are right, afterall, not, lol) , and, IF you die and have not accepted Christ you will go hell
You cannot earn your salvation, sinski, and, TOMMY, insist you get ALL your sins repented of , and, thzt time might not happen before you die. We , none of us, don't know when we might be on a plane with 300 people that must crash and destroy all because a bad, bad 'nuclear bomb' mastermind killer is on it and God must act in His pwer to allow hundreds to die on that plane in order to save millions.

Selenah, even though we are trying to help you, we also realize that there are many others who are reading this thread who are going through the same exact thing that you are. So in reality, your questions and our answers are being used to help you and many others at the same time.
As for others who ask things that aren't answered, that is to our shame, or to the fact that we don't know how to answer in a way that we (and by we, I mean everyone on here) think is biblical. Sometimes it's best to pray and think over a queston before jumping into it. I know I wouldn't want to give someone false information on a subject I don't understand, or fully understand. There have been people on here who have asked questions that I've responded to in a private email, either giving advice or recommending a book, etc.
Just don't worry that you are bothering anyone. No one knows everything, we all need to ask questions in order to learn from other's experiences. That is the great thing about this site, we are truly being the body of Christ when we help each other.

No you haven't been out of order or anything. I ask questions like this about God because I feel that I don't really know Him. I always thought God was all warm fuzzy hugs and love, but then I started to have more questions. God seems to be completely different than I understood Him to be before. I'm trying to understand what God really is like.

God loved us enough to die for us when we was his enemy, he states what has been given to him can not be lost, he will never leave you nor will he ever forsake you. He is a God of love.
satan does not want you to believe this though, so he will place doubts in your mind. don't believe them
