So tell me, are you a Biblical scholar?
I'm scholar enough to understand and admit my failings and shortcomings

and the futility of understand or explaining God's written words without His Holy Spirit and being BORN Again in both water and Spirit.

As we are both, amen.

The sabbath is a wonderful day. A day we can spend all day with God, a day that has been blessed by God. We should spend time with God every day but, the sabbath of the Lord is a special day, a day which has been blessed by Him. no other day of the week has been blessed by God.

making a day holy is not the same as commanding the entire world to perform a specific observance on that day...

observance of the sabbath was not commanded until shortly after the exodus

Because the 7th day has been blessed by God and no other day, then anyone not keeping the Sabbath of the Lord are missing a blessing from God.

Funny, what it means to obey the sabbath is quoted in your signature verses.

Is God any less that on Sunday? The sabbath has nothing to do with this, but you all won't listen.

Atleast someone please show how Jesus obeyed the sabbath?

16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

Of course he observed it, he observed it the way it was meant to be observed.

Not how the pharisees had taught people it was to be kept, they had some in fear to even move on the Sabbath.

cus·tom (k s t m) n. 1. A practice followed by people of a particular group or region. 2. A habitual practice of a person: my custom of reading a little before sleep. See Synonyms at habit. 3. Law A common tradition or usage so long established that it has the force or validity of law. 4. a. Habitual patronage, as of a store.

Just as it is today. It was a CUSTOM.

John 9:4

4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Again I ask how did Jesus obey the sabbath?

Obedience is submitting to the way of Yahvah God, he knows best for us so if we love and trust him we do it his way, not make excuses, how we can observe it every day...

No one said outwardly told me to Keep the 10 Commandment it came from within..

You will have people who do not keep Sabbath, try and say well best you keep it correct, "do you do this?" or "do you do that?".....

It is an obedient love that strives to do what pleases Yahvah God that he is looking for.

Because he loved us and sent Yahshua the Messiah to show us this love and truth that I could not live another day in Rebellion to what pleases him.

I share my experience here, and do not consider who is or is not saved, because they observe or do not observe the Sabbath, I can only offer and share what I received.....

Yahvah God says those that love me, keep my Commandments.

Do you love him?

Do you show him this love, by doing what pleases him?

Is your Salvation not everything, that you desire to live out your days to give him Glory?

Glory to Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

If sin is a trespass of the 10 Commandments, and Yahshua the Messiah was without sin, how can you not see that he observed the Sabbath?

I do beloved. That is why we must cease from this vain discussion in regards to what particular day one may choose to worship on. Saturday and Sunday are BOTH names of pagan gods (thinking as a man). Both days will perish upon death.

Let me approach this from another angle. How is the sabbath fulfilled in loving your neighbor as yourself?

Nothing vain in this thread:

17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Let me approach this from another angle. How is the sabbath fulfilled in loving your neighbor as yourself?

how is this fulfilled:

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

When you truly keep the first Great Commandment the second comes naturally.

You see those that love Yahvah God will keep his Commandments which are :

And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Love Thy God
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Love thy God
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Love thy God
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Love thy God
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Love thy God
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Love thy God
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
Love thy God= Love thy neighbour
13 Thou shalt not kill.
Love thy God=Love thy neighbour
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Love thy God= Love thy Neighbour
15 Thou shalt not steal.
Love thy God= Love thy neighbour
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Love thy God= Love thy neighbour
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Love thy God= love thy neighbour.

Yahshua the Messiah summarized the 10 commandments with 2 and the source LOVE.

So when Yahvah God said those that love me, Keep my Commandments, and Yahshua the Messiah summarized it to two with LOVE.

It is the fruit of the New covenant:

31Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Love comes from within us.
