Why do men/women....?

Reece, Some wear it because they want to get your attention. Some because they think it's expected of them.

Don't buy the "it's too hot/too uncomfortable" to cover up their high/low lady parts though. A woman can be cool and comfortable, and still keep herself covered up.
 
Not sure, Liamson, but I have friends who are really into horses. They are beautiful to watch when they run, but mucking stalls never sounded like a good time to me.

If you'd asked why women find REAL cowboys attractive, I could have answered that :)

It's the real, the raw, the rugged, the not stuffy, the untamed, the not afraid to get dirty. The maleness overload.
 
...depends on the woman. Many like the 'idea' or 'fantasy' of Cowboy Kyle or Rugged Russ, but those who actually live that life (dear to my heart) find that reality and fantasy rarely mix or match.

The same could be said for the tough guy, bad guy, nice guy, 'fun' guy, or anyone else...and the same holding to ladies. Life can be better. It's not the worst, and we really need to learn to see and takes things as they are. Not to say things don't improve, because they do. What I am saying is Prince Charming or Cinderella (if they exist...), did not become that way overnight, but after a short lifetime.

It takes a refining fire (and process) to turn mucky ore into precious metal.
 
I think the rugged cowboys are very likely to smell like manure, hay, & horse... Is there a musk for that? I honestly don't like the masculine & feminine worldly appeals & the male & female roles that I look up to are those closest to & following Christ's teachings.

So sure I like a girl who can cook but if her heart can teach & share The Word I see that as the defining... hmm what do you call it? A Fair heart. In the end I hope some of the threads, like this one, are for laughs & conversation without judgements or wants :)

Unfortunately, a lot of young women have never been taught modesty, and some do not understand how it effects men. Then there are others who are seeking attention in any form that they can obtain it.

I do think that a desire for attention is what drives a lot of women to "dress" this way. But for some of them, I think they like the power it gives them. The girls have a little bit of influence and control over some guys when they dress in a revealing way.

I Like meeting ladies who approach me expecting me to fall for their appearance. But my heart & mind are not so weak & I treat them as disrespectfully as they approach me; its fair.

Maybe that would work for some women, but not this one. :) It's the realness that lends itself to the maleness to me. A lot of so called "tough guys/bad guys/rhinestone cowboys" don't like to get their hands dirty or their hair messed up. I've even met guys who didn't want anyone to touch their hair. Way too pretty for me. :)

Something to do with an instinct to comfort and protect fighting with a rational mind that refuses to give her that much control and then throw in a bit of uncertainty about how to actually accomplish the "comforting" instinct.

Or that's what I would guess at least

I think guys should just hold them and say"Everything is gonna be okay" And if the girl freaks over what he said, he needs to understand when we girls cry our emotions are alllll over the place and no matter what, if we say something a bit irrational WE DONT REALLY MEAN IT! So i ask for guys to have patience and understanding ^_^ Then we'll be good
 
I don't know what to do if I see a girl cry unless she is related to me. If she isn't I try to get another girl to help!

Honestly, it again depends on the guy, but in general...

I'd say we somehow instinctively feel that it's wrong, and like others have said have the desire to comfort and protect women.

The problem is we often don't know what to do, and an awkward tension exists therein. (At least for some...)

Then, there are those of us who are both used to women crying, and know what to do...but still don't like to see it.
