I will tackle Hebrews in a seperat post after this one.
Okay.

Where in the bible is that taught?
Heb 10:1 For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh

What do you think the lamb represented, the tabernacle, the rituals, ordinances?

Feedm3 ------The 7th day of God's rest represents the past, creation, and the future, Christ's rule when he would be given all authority in heave and earth, and rule over His people - Matt 28:18, Col 1:28. This is the NT this is God's rest, in which the Sabbath foreshadowed.
Go time ------So you acknowledge that the Sabbath is about creation yet seem to think that creation has changed now that Jesus has died. You do know that Jesus rested in the grave after saying "it is finished" he rested on the 7th day Sabbath according to the Gospel
And? Who said creation changed? Secondly, Jesus said this from the cross, not the grave, as he was never even in a grave. And also those who did no work, rested on the Sababth, your point?

I said the sabbath represented creation, past - and future, the reign of Christ, and gave sufficient passages. Nothing you said here so far, refutes what i said, I font get your points either.

Matt 28:18 And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth

I Cor 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be abolished is death

I Cor 15:28 And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all

Christ is reign now, God has given him, the church, the body of the saved - Mat 16:18-19.
He will rule until the end, when he destroys death, and delivers up the kingdom to God, and submits to the Father himsel - I Cor 15:58.

The 7th day sabbath, was a part of the Law, a shadow of the reign of Chirst, which is why he said, "he was Lord of the Sabbath" - Matt 12:8
That is an interesting spin on what Jesus said. I though he said he was Lord of the Sabbath because he was Lord of the Sabbath. In fact the verse before that shows that the creation is in mind when he says "the sabbath was made for man" Jesus is the creator and if Jesus created then he is the Lord of creation and Lord of the Sabbath. lets not give it any old meaning that fits our view.
Thats a good way to look at it, although he was not telling them he was the creator, neither does it give that meanig, the sabbath was made for man. His rest, and what it symbolized. Still not a refutaion fo what I am saying.

Heb 10:1 For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh
Good verse, however you ignore the very fact that the law spoken of here is the law of sacrifices clearly shown in the verse itself. remember a shadow looks forward, the sacrifices pointed to Jesus the lamb who takes away the sins of the world. You would be pretty hard pressed to say that the law here is the 10 commandments. in fact there is no backing at all for that view within the context of Hebrews.
Wrong, first "the Law" is the law of Moses in general. Everything included, not limited to sacrifices, if you read the remote context, it also speaks of the Tabernacle, the rooms, the furnishing, the viel, the mercy seat, all shadowing something in the NT.
The who law did this, Moses himself was a shadow of Christ - Due 18:18. Both left royalty to be with their people, both performed signs and wonders to defeat the enemy, both freed their people from bondage. God did not do anything random, everything has a purpose, that includes everything in the Law just has Hebrews tells us, Col tells us, and many other places.

THe Brazen serpant, another type of Chirst - read John 3:14

The Temple was a type - the viel, the court, all of it.

The fesival days were types, passover, pentecost, the 8th day, all types of true images.

Noah and those destroyed by the flood, another type - II Pet 3:21 -f.

16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. 18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. 19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us

The Holy place typlified Heaven, it was not a sacrifice but a room:

And not only Sacfices but gifts that the priest's brought to the altar, all shadows of things to come:
3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. 4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: 5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. 6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7d. 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah

I would check that again if I were you. Paul clearly shows that we are delivered from the condemnation of the law. however read his illustration in the beginning of chapter 7, notice that it us us that dies not the law (Vs 4). we die to self and live now because of Jesus. Paul is very clear that the law is good and Holy and just. (Vs 12)
I checked Romans 7 again. It actually says, "we are delivered from the law", not "we are delivered from the condemnation of the law".

The illustration is that when a spouse dies, you are freed from the law and aloud to marry someone else, but as long as you are both alive, you are bound to that marriage.

So as the illustration goes, we were married to the law. We died and we are freed from the law, and we were made free to marry Jesus Christ. You are no longer joined to the law, you are joined to Jesus Christ.

so as it says....not delivered from the condemnation of the law, but "we've been delivered from the law" (Romans 7:6)

The law is good and Just, but we've been delivered from it and are married to someone better- Jesus Christ.

Gal 5:22-23
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law."

Here you are mixing things up a little, If you go back to Mathew chapter 5 you might notice something. Notice verse 18 says that the law will not be fulfilled until heaven and earth pass away.
The scripture does not say anything close to that.

The scripture presents 2 conditions and you left one of them out which is where the confusion is:

Condition 1: till heaven and earth pass away, nothing from the law will pass away

Condition 2: till all is fulfilled

Mat 5:17-18
"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."

Jesus said His purpose in coming was to fulfill. You are saying He didn't accomplish what He came to do, when obviously, He was successful and replaced it as the New Covenant.

Gal 3:23
But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. 24 Therefore the law was our tutor [to bring us] to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

Notice "the law" = "tutor"

which means in v.25 that after faith has come, we are no longer under the law.

now Hbr 7, I suggest you read the rest of Hebrews. chapter 8 talks about the priesthood and the sanctuary pointing to the real heavenly sanctuary where Jesus would act as high priest. chapter 10 tells us that it is the law of sacrificing animals that changes. why? because they were all pointing to Jesus sacrifice. Contextually you have no grounds in Hebrews to say the commandments are changed. on top of that the sanctuary showed that the ark was in the most Holy Place and the purpose of the ark was to hold the 10 commandments. which is mentioned in Hebrews also. so the very primes of Hebrews is that the law of God is in heaven also. John say the ark of the testimony in heaven also in revelation.
Contextually I have all grounds to say that old covenant (the 10 commandments are the old covenant) was made Obsolete once the New Covenant was Established.

Hebrews 8:13 In that He says, "A new [covenant]," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Galatians 4:21-31 Tells you to throw out the covenant that came from Sinai. Jesus replaced it.

Continue reading and you will see in vs 20 of that same chapter that the Jesus would magnify the law and make it honorable. Now Magnify indicates making it plainer. now go read matt 5 again and notice the law that will not be fullfilled before the earth passes away is magnified by Jesus. Make it honorable, The law is based on love, Jesus emphasis that Love is the foundation of the law. If you love me he said keep my commandments.
Isa 42:1, 4
"Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One [in whom] My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles...4 the coastlands shall wait for His law."

This elect one was coming with His own law.

The law in v. 20 is in regard to "His" law in v. 4 . We know that because Jesus told the whole world to observe all the things He taught and commanded in the great co-mission. Not the OT law.

Read Hebrews and see what Jeremiah was meaning. see how the author of Hebrews interperates Jeremiah 31, Heb 8:10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:.

Notice that he says that God will put his laws into their mind and write them in their hearts. so all that is happening here is the law is now in them rather than outside them on stone.
Yes, to know what laws and what the covenant is, you need to refer to the other prophecies about that. Jesus' laws are written in our minds and hearts through the Holy Spirit. He brought a different law with different commandments.

Mat 28:19 "Go therefore [fn] and make disciples of all the nations...20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you"

1Cr 14:37 "If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord."

Paul said that the things He wrote to the churches are the commandments of the Lord...

Did you find one place in the New Covenant writings that commands New Covenant believers to observe the 10 commandments, specifically the Sabbath? NOPE :)

I would just like to add:

Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, a
nd be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised,(A part of the law) Christ shall profit you nothing. 3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love

The Gal church had false teachers trying to bind circumcision on the Christians, of course that was part of the Law, none of the Law is still binding, this is why it was a sin for the Christians to do as the false teachers were telling them. IN doing so, they would "fall from grace" and Christ would become no effect to them. How is what SDA teachers, and others who hold to the Law, or parts fo the law any different from these false teachers in Gal?

Many times, perhaps all of the time, when reading Paul, everything sounds reasonable for a while, then things seem to conflict. This is most likely because he is addressing specific problems that arose for specific congregations, but I cannot say this with all certainty, although there are some who will. One thing that is certain; if we go back to whatever Jesus, Yeshua, teaches on the subject we find peace.
Now as for the Law and Yeshua. We are supposed to follow His example, and if we do this, we cannot go astray, even if we err, and we most likely will err, but we have our Mediator Who is constantly pleading our case, and this is glorious.
Does anyone notice when it comes to the punitive laws, Jesus, Yeshua, chooses mercy? Being our Example we are given this great freedom to be merciful also because of Yeshua.
We are to keep the commandments of YHWH, and if you get confused about WHICH, just go to the two great laws of Love, and you will have your clarity immediately; that is, unless your heart is hardened to these laws.
Now we are all free to obey YHWH with clarity and understanding. Please, never use the Grace of YHWH that is Yeshua, as an excuse to not obey our Father. It is a joy to honor our parents, to not have lust in our hearts, to not steal, to not lie, and so on. The laws of Love are the foremost and greatest of all teachers, learn from them. B'shem Yeshua amen.............

I notice that when ever someone speaks of any kind of condemnation, most only remeber mercy. Yet condemnation is spoken of much in the Bible. Yes Paul was addressing speific congreations. Yet all these congregation make up the same body. What applies to one, applies to the other, God is not the author of confusion.
Paul clearly showed the Gal letter going back to the Law was sinful, and would cause them to fall from grace, this would apply to all congregations. I did not write the words, Paul did. Jesus and mercy go hand in hand, Jesus is mercy, the fact that we can be forgiven and be made a child of God. This is God's grace, and nothing we did deserved this. This does not mean if we err as in live in sin, or error we will be covered. Jesus also is the one who said, "not everyone that saith unto me Lord Lord, shall enter the kingdom of Heaven. He is alos the one who commands some to be bound and cast into darkness. Heb 10:26 also applies.

Jesus showed much mercy, like the woman caught in adultery. He did not stone her as the Jew's wanted. But instead he gave her the message he gives us all - repent - Luke 13:3. He told her "go and sin no more" This is repetnace.
He said he came not to condemn but to save. Thats exactly what he is doing through the message of the gospel - Rom 1:16.
II Pet 3:9-f. we all have the same message, the saving message of repentance. Yet his second coming will not be to bring a message of salvation. It will be of reward and punishment. It will be pardon, and condemnation. His mercy is extend now, now we can be made a child of God, that is not forever, it is not permanent, when he returns to Judge it will be too late. Paul told them the same message Christ tells us, "but he that doeth the will of may father" - Matt 7:21-23 will enter Heaven. Just as Paul is telling the Gal church returning to the Law is not the will of the Father, and is sinful, making Christ of no effect to them, and would apply to all Christians anywhere.

I read your post, and it is excellent, but I sense you did not read what you were quoting. It does not even imply that the message from Paul is not to all, albeit specific problems were mentioned. I had the woman caught in the act of adultery in mind when the mention of mercy as opposed to punitive law. The point I wish to stress is the clarity given, when one is in doubt about what is to be obeyed, by the two great laws of love. If, when in doubt, we consult these great laws, everything should be clear, after all when we consult the two great laws of Love we consult God, Himself, for God IS Love, amen.
I like your posts, would you be so kind as to up the size of your font slightly for those who would benefit from it? Thank you....

The saving message of the gospel is not REPENTANCE of personal sin, it is that Christ shed His blood and put away your sin through His death, burial and resurrection, and we are to BELIEVE that message by faith. We preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified and he that believes by faith upon the Son has life and he that believes not upon the Son has not life. The message of the gospel turns sinners from themselves and their own righteousness unto Christ and His righteousness. If a sinner turns from anything it is his own righteousness and the things that he was trusting in to save himself. Those are the labours that he is to cease from as he comes to Christ to find rest for his soul. The Spirit takes the gospel and convicts men's heart to believe unto God's righteousness (Rom 10:4,10) because the law of their own righteousness led them into sin through the flesh and the old sin nature. The strength of sin is THE LAW (1Cor 15:56,57), but you will not find any of our Jewish friends making reference to that.

I am not going off on some tangent. You made some statements in your answer that need to be addressed. As to your reference to the woman caught in adultery in (Jn 8), all her accused had left and she was given grace by the Lord to go and sin no more. In and of herself she had no strength to stop her sin of adultery, but if she received grace she would be able to put it away. We must give grace and not the law of repentance if we want to see people stop living in sin. If we demand they stop through the law of repentance it will only strengthen sin every single time. Grace must remove the accusations and the condemnation of the law first, before it can empower the sinner with grace to be free from sin. That is what the cross made possible and needs to preached and that is the salvation of the gospel of Christ. Mercy takes away what we deserve and grace gives us what we don't deserve that we might walk in the newness of life where sin has no dominion over us.

Good quote, one that in no way upholds the position against the 7th day Sabbath.

Notice that a shadow in verse 17 is of things to come. That means the thing is not yet (that is it is not yet when the shadow is instituted). So now we also need to acknowledge that there are ceremonial Sabbaths which are joined to Jewish feasts and there is the 7th day Sabbath.

It's really easy to know which Paul has in mind hear for two reasons.

1: he mentions with the Sabbath days, new moons, religious festival and eating and drinking. all these were common on ceremonial feasts which actually pointed to Jesus.

So yes the feast Sabbath's which you can find in Leviticus and else where fit what Paul is saying here.

2: The 7th day Sabbath never pointed forward but rather pointed backwards as a memorial to something that was already done. The very reason the Sabbath was made Holy is because it pointed backwards/remember, to an already fulfilled application. Thus there is no way that the 7th day Sabbath fits the meaning given by Paul here.

blessings
your interpretation is a common excuse used to escape the obvious meaning of the passage...here is why it is incorrect...

the 'feast sabbaths' you claim that paul was referring to are the religious festivals paul -already- mentioned...and paul would not be listing the same thing twice under a different name...

that would be like someone writing 'american patriotic holidays include independence day and memorial day and the fourth of july'... it would be redundant and it would suggest ignorance or confusion on the part of the writer...

so the sabbaths paul is referring to cannot be the sabbaths that were associated with the religious festivals paul had already mentioned...he must have been referring to the weekly saturday sabbath instead...

more support for this fact comes from the logical sequencing of the observances paul lists...he is listing them in descending order of how frequently they happen... first he mentions the religious festivals which happen annually...then he mentions the new moon celebrations which happen monthly...and finally he mentions the sabbath days which happen weekly...

this all makes perfect sense unless you insist on denying that the sabbath was a shadow of christ...

which of course it was...it is a shadow of the rest we have in jesus... even the very first sabbath of creation week that all the other sabbaths commemorated was a shadow of christ...it was a picture of resting in the finished work of God...which is what the gospel of jesus was all about...'it is finished!'

The saving message of the gospel is not REPENTANCE of personal sin, it is that Christ shed His blood and put away your sin through His death, burial and resurrection, and we are to BELIEVE that message by faith.
Sure Red, Repentance is not necessary without the blood of Christ. His death, his resurrection, the shedding of his blood, all for one purpose that you can:

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord

Without the blood their is not remission, with repentance on the part of any individual who hears, their is no remission.

This is the same old false doctrine Paul dealt with in Rom 6:1-2. Grace will not abound to cover your unrepentant sins.

"Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid, how shall we that are DEAD TO SIN LIVE ANY LONGER THEREIN?

You all think by saying we don't have to anything, in order to be saved, we are trusting in Christ not us", that it is something admirable, and hon-able. When if fact it is just icing for saying we can still live in sin.

Thats not trusting in Christ, nor his work. If you trust he came and died so you didn't have to anything as in change, then your trusting a lie.

He said only those that do the will of the Father will enter into the kingdom of heaven - Matt 7:21-23.

If this is true, and it is, it is up to us to the will of the Father, which is why some believes in those passages were rejected, they failed in doing so.

Again, as I have shown you before, Heb 10- makes it so clear a child can understand it:

Heb 10:26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, (Cant get any clearer than that)
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

They cant be under the law of Moses, they are contrasted with those under the Law:
28 He that despised Moses 'law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

As Christians with knowledge of the truth, they were "worthy of a sorer punishment".
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace

They insulted the spirit of grace by thinking they could live in willfully sin, the same thing those in Rom 6 were teaching, and the same thing you are teaching in different wordings of "trusting in the Lord's work" not your own work" - when it is only because of the Lord we can repent and be made a child of God.
Thats right, and sin takes opportunity by the command. What does this mean?
Because without the law their is no sin - i Jn 3:4, because sin is the transgression of the law. NOT the law of Moses, any law that God has set forth and you are under, in your case the NT laws - James 1:25.

If we live in violation to the NT laws, we are sinning, if we refuse to repent, then we aer insulting the Spirit of grace, because that is not what grace if for, it is not so we can continue to sin with no eternal consequences - Tit 2:11-12 0 Grace teaches us to deny our lusts.

Of course, should he have stoned her because of her sins? NO, did he kill you for your sins, and me for mine - NO! BECAUSE that is not why he came the first time, it was to give the message of repetnace, not to condemn. Yet his second coming is not so, he will come to judge, and recompense, and as the Hebrew's writer makes clear, punish those who will not separate from willful sinning.

HE gave the woman, the message he gives us all - "go and sin no more" this is repentance.

Jesus doesn't see separation, of Jew, or gentile. Jesus see's us as brothers and sisters. i don't think Jesus would give jews one set of laws and then tell gentiles, oh by the way gentiles these laws don't concern you. Father God is no respecter of persons.
That is true, the sabbath was made for man. The Bible never calls the sabbath the sabbath of the Jews always the Sabbath of the Lord. The sabbath belongs to God not the Jews

If keeping of the Sabbath as the Jews keep were so necessary, Paul would have definitely said at least once in all of his letters in the Bible to keep the Sabbath. Paul was a teacher of the gentiles so why did he not write that if keeping of the law (sabbath) was so necessary? The gentiles did not know about keeping of the Sabbath. If they knew this, then they would have known the rest of the 9 commandments as well. If you say that the gentiles were already keeping the Sabbath and there was no need to command them again to do what they were already doing, then my question is what about the rest of 9 commandments? Were they not keeping them? Why did Paul kept telling them, that they should love one another, they should not kill, they should not steal or commit adultery (Rom 13:9)? If you love, then you have fulfilled the whole law (Rom 13:8). Not once did he say 'Thou shalt keep the Sabbath for it is holy' and I think if this Sabbath keeping was so necessary then it was also very necessary for Paul to write this as he was a preacher specially to the gentiles.

Please do not think Paul is to blame for not telling you to keep Sabbath, the same Bible you read Paul's letters is written YAHVAH GOD telling you this :

Exodus 20

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

And YAHSHUA the MESSIAH telling you this:

Matthew 22:36-40
King James Version (KJV)
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

and this:

Matthew 7
1Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
6Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

28And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 29For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

And Paul said:

19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
Revelation 14

. 12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of
Jesus.

Consider not you keep Sabbath to earn Salvation, no it is a gift come by Love and Grace for us creation from our Creator.

If you do not feel to Keep Sabbath that is one thing, but stating that if it was important Paul would of mentioned it in his letters..... is quite another...

Peace and Blessings in the name of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

Namaste! The most important teaching is the teaching of the Master, Himself. Of course we learn from Paul, but all true learning is from God.

Exodus 13

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: 3And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, 4To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, 5And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. 6And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee; 7The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle, 8And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense, 9And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot, 10And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office, 11And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.
12And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 13Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. 14Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 15Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. 17It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

18And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

Glory to YAHVAH GOD and YAHSHUA the MESSIAH always and forever.

Psalm 119 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.

2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.

13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

19 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

20 My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

21 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

23 Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

24 Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.

25 My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.

26 I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.

27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

28 My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.

29 Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

30 I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.

31 I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O Lord, put me not to shame.

32 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

38 Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.

39 Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.

40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

41 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even thy salvation, according to thy word.

42 So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.

43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

44 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.

52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord; and have comforted myself.

53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

55 I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law.

56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

57 Thou art my portion, O Lord: I have said that I would keep thy words.

58 I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.

59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.

61 The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.

62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

63 I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

64 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.

65 Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Lord, according unto thy word.

66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

68 Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

69 The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

70 Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.

71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

72 The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

73 Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

74 They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

75 I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

76 Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.

79 Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.

80 Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

81 My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

82 Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.

84 How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

85 The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.

86 All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

87 They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.

88 Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

91 They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.

92 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

94 I am thine, save me: for I have sought thy precepts.

95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

96 I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

97 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

102 I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.

103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O Lord, according unto thy word.

108 Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me thy judgments.

109 My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.

110 The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.

111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

112 I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.

113 I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.

114 Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

115 Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.

116 Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

117 Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

118 Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.

119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.

120 My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

121 I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.

122 Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.

123 Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

124 Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.

125 I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

126 It is time for thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void thy law.

127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

129 Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

131 I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.

132 Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

134 Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.

135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.

136 Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

137 Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments.

138 Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.

139 My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.

140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

141 I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.

142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.

144 The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.

145 I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord: I will keep thy statutes.

146 I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.

147 I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.

148 Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

149 Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O Lord, quicken me according to thy judgment.

150 They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.

151 Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy commandments are truth.

152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

153 Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.

154 Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.

155 Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.

156 Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken me according to thy judgments.

157 Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.

158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.

159 Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness.

160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

161 Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.

162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

163 I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

164 Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

166 Lord, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.

167 My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

168 I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.

169 Let my cry come near before thee, O Lord: give me understanding according to thy word.

170 Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.

171 My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

173 Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.

174 I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my delight.

175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.

176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Peace and Blessings in the name of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

For the Sabbath Keepers - Why is that the other Mosaic laws are not important to keep? Why not keep Passover as well? God clearly established the Passover as an eternal feast. I just don't know why this one particular law seems to get all of the attention over the other 612.
