Why do men/women....?

Why do guys do something to get your attention and then act like it never happened when you respond? Is that some sort of "I want you to chase me" thing or what? Kinda like when we were kids and a boy would pull your braid on the playground and run because he liked you and wanted you to chase him. :) Is that it? *scratching head*

I honestly don't know what you mean. I don't doubt your story, of course, but I can't say I've seen/done that.
 
I tend to think of women as individuals with differing opinions. My question is: What can be said that is the same for most women, other than the obvious?

nw2u: Most women want to be with the man who makes her feel special, beautiful and cherished. It would be difficult to say much beyond that, as we are all so different, especially with regard to what we like and don't like. The other thing that comes to mind is that most of us don't have just one personalty. We're adaptable and multi-faceted. The situation and the people we are with dictate which side of us you see. :)

Sounds to me like the guy that does that has a big crush on you and gets tongue tied when he looks at you or he really wasn't doing anything to get your attention.
