I will show you

Acts 13:42,44 (KJV)
And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. [44] And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Read the whole chapter

Yea your forefathers kept the sabbath
You have showed me nothing. The gentiles were already with the Jews in the synagogue and wished Paul to come back to the synagogue the next sabbath and that's it, they are together again. Search it, I will give you another chance :)

Quoting irrelevant verses will not make you more wise. What's my thought in this? Are we not going to be with Jesus? Ok. I should have said 'in Him' instead of 'with Him'. I will be in the Light forever. I have nothing to do with darkness :)
Freedom from the law, from which the Lord liberated me by His blood. The Son has set me free so I am free indeed. Not keeping Sabbath in flesh will not make me a sinner. Many in the OT profaned it and were still blameless.
How do you know you are with the right Jesus?

2 Corinthians 11:4 (KJV)
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him .

Your opinion suggest that the Jesus you speak of is not the Jesus of the Bible

The Jesus of the bible is te God who said Keep the 7th day holy

So what God are you serving ?

I've showed you using the word of God that the Gentiles your forefathers was taught and kept the sabbath
What you really mean is you don't want to acknowledge the truth

A big difference

You want to do what you want to do

Do you understand why the Lord say they worship me in Vain

Do you understand why the Lord said don't take my name in Vain

Some people view Jesus as a vain God

They dont think he means what he says

Shame on them

Let me take you further back

Exodus 12:37-38 (KJV)
And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. [38] And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

Let's open up your understanding some more

That mixed multitude included all the sons of Adam that lived in Egypt who left out with Israel

Exodus 12:49 (KJV)
One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

How many laws?

One law

James 4:12 (KJV)
There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

How many law givers?

One

Who was he?

1 Corinthians 10:1-4 (KJV)
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; [2] And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; [3] And did all eat the same spiritual meat; [4] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

That rock in the wilderness with Israel and the mixed. Multitude was israel
Your long post about Israel proves nothing about the gentiles gathering on the Sabbath day during Paul's time. I haven't seen Paul mentioning that they gathered on a sabbath day in his letters except in the book of Acts. No, not even once. And yes your OT fathers tried to keep the law but died, because they kept without faith.

So you think only by keeping sabbath, man can be with right Jesus? People in OT have kept it and have perished. Some profaned the Sabbath and are yet blameless.
You can say whatever you want and keeping passing judgment, but it won't change the fact that the Old Covenant is wiped off.
It is you who has to ask this question for yourself because you doubt being with Jesus all the time and are concerned with 'darkness'.

You error not knowing the scriptures or Paul's books

Let's read about the OT prophet

Genesis 26:5 (KJV)
Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Abraham kept the commandments

Hebrews 11:8 (KJV)
By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Wait a minute Abraham had faith and the commandments also

Galatians 3:9 (KJV)
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Galatians 3:7-9,29 (KJV)
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. [8] And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying , In thee shall all nations be blessed. [9] So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. [29] And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

What is tbat you don't understand by keeping the law you will fe eternal life

The sabbath day is part of the commandments

Let's read

Matthew 19:16-19 (KJV)
And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? [17] And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is , God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. [18] He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, [19] Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

You want eternal life keep the commandments

Sunday or the first day of the week is not on the commandments

Common sense let's us know keeping it holy unto God will not get you eternal life

You have showed me time and again that the OT fathers kept the law and I have never denied it because they were commanded to do so but you have not showed me the NT forefathers ever kept the sabbath that is because they were not bound to do so. Why should I acknowledge that which is not right? As I said it is not you who has persuaded me to become a Christian but the Lord. I'll obey Him and not you. You could be a deceiver but not Him. Mind you, never judge me and sin against the Holy Spirit by saying I am serving another Jesus. You don't know what He has given me. You follow Ellen White but I follow the word of God. Just for your info, I don't belong to any denomination and I don't go to church as well.

Is this passing judgement this sounds like the usual christian trying to get away from doing what Is
holy

Since you won't listen to the creator maybe you will listen to the created

Is Paul passing judgement on you and the Sunday worshippers

Romans 13:8-10 (KJV)
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. [9] For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [10] Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Paul is telling us to keep the commandments , Paul is telling these Roman Gentiles to keep the commandment

You are not reading brother, you are not reading

Your wrong again

I do not belong to the SDA or Ellen white

If you don't go to church you are breaking laws

Let's read some more, you don't obey the gospel

Romans 10:9-16 (KJV)
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

[11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [

13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14] How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

[15] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! [16] But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

How can you hear without a preacher?

keeping the sabbath is never commanded to the church.
the ten commandments were not givento the church but to the nation of Israel. The church is under the new covenant.
the new covenant doesnt limit a certain day for worship. acts 15 was the first time it was discussed, and answered. no sabbath rules for the church.
what about sunday? choose any day, there is no commandment in the new covenant for it.
but i like the sabbath! well thats fine. God sees your heart and your intentions. doesnt mean you should impose it on others.
romans 14 makes it very clear to me: v5, 6a: One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord.

have a nice day, every day, chariot72

Jesus commandments is darkness?
Am I serving the wrong God because I don't observe the Sabbath in flesh? Try to understand what exactly Sabbath means. The Bible says, it is the day the Lord rested. Rested from what? Works. What works? The works of His creation. So why did Jesus work on Sabbath then? He did good on that day. So what was God doing on six days of His creation - were the works good or bad? If good then, why did He cease from doing good?
Ozell, can you answer this or will you again quote a long list of Bible verses which are not relevant to the topic?
The darkness which you asked is of the new heaven and new earth. I don't believe there will be any darkness there. But because you believe there'll be darkness, I said that I am not interested in that darkness because I will be with the Father of lights.

Paul taught the Gentiles all that is written in the Law and prophets

Acts 28:23 (KJV)
And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

Paul said nothin g but what was written on the OT

Acts 26:22 (KJV)
Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

Paul believed everything that is written in the OT

Acts 24:14 (KJV)
But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Payl taught the Gentiles the law and the prophets

Do you work from sundown Friday to sundown saturday?

Are you saying you can't test on the 7th day?

The rest is weekly pointing to the 1000 year rule of Jesus

Under this heaven and on this earth the Lors gave you the weekly sabbath

Exodus 20:9-10 (KJV)
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: [10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

The 7th day comes after the 6th day literally

Your son, you daughter, your servant. Or your animal is not to do any work

Now If this was in the 1000 year rule why would the Lord command us not to do It when it wont be done in his rule.

Come on think about it

This is for us now even until we get to the 1000 year rule and at that time you will be a pro at it

Why would God give us a command now only to be done when he return the 2nd time

How can you hear without a preacher?
You don't go to church so who is teachIng you?
I don't need a teacher because it's the Holy Ghost that teaches me all things. I go to the Father to know about my Father through His Spirit and by His grace He teaches me.
