I wish I was either closer in age or geographically situated closer to many of you.

I should have chosen my words with a bit more wisdom. It was mainly in response to the thread that unintentionally slighted the ladies of the USA.

Obviously, I copied your formula. You know what they say about imitation, lol.
 
That and considering where I grew up, I would be in no place to start slighting Canadians.

It was merely a typo on Ritter's part. I'm quite sure he meant "American" as in residents of the continent. :D

Routinely the ladies of this forum prove themselves to be a cut above and far from the "typical" american ladies.

Sorry, but I'm not American, even though we're not too far away in distance. I will deny it so for the rest of my life. No offense. I think many Canadians would feel the same. We're just too different

I totally respect Arwen's stand... Calling our Canadian brothers and sisters American would be like calling a South Korean a North Korean or vice versa... (For anyone who doesn't know, it's a bad idea.)

Let's hear it for the right to choose individual and national identity. :)

Its good that you appreciate your fellow country women.better than nothing:) my situation is like in a small town where there is THE crossroad,THE bridge lol,THE large tree by THE supermarket,i mean i havent seen anyone from my country,but i dont stress coz we are citizens of one golden/rubbi/preacious stones country(literally) right?
