Sounds like GOD wanted you to read that Cassie. A good friend of mine's Mom died recently.She was a lesbian. The funeral was at her church that she attended for years. She was also very involved with their food pantry for the poor. She had the same partner for at least 30 years. I know she cares for and helped others in a big way. Gay or not she devoted that part of her life to serving GOD. Who am I to judge her or anyone else. My friend, her son is also gay and he has a partner they've been together 15 years. When my friend and I were younger I watched him struggle so much with his sexuality. It was really difficult for him. I am glad he is happy with who he is. I love him, straight, gay,pink purple or yellow. I don't know exactly what God is going to do. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of bible versus sent my way for saying that. But in my heart I feel I should treat others with kindness and respect.

I just read something in the bible i would like to share with you it means a lot to me but you might not see it my way which i will respect and thank you again

1 corrinthians 7- 17-24

Each one should go on living according to the Lords gift to him and as he was when God called him. This is the rule i teach in all the churches. If a circumcised man has accepted God's call, he should not try to remove the marks of circumcision; if an uncircumcised man has accepted God's call, he should not get circumcised. For weather or not a man is circumcised means nothing; what matters is to obey God's commandments. Everyone should remain as he was when he accepted God's call.
Were you a slave when God called you? Well never mind; but if you have a chance to become a free man use it. For a slave who was called by the Lord is the Lord's free man who has been called by Christ is his slave. God bought you at a price; so do not become slaves as men.
My brothers each one should remain in fellowship with God in the same condition as he was when he was called.

So to me this is what i think that God called to me which he did as i said i lost my religion he knows who i am and what i am this is my condition. Many of you will probably won't read in to it the same as me people have different perspectives but this is my perspective. And to to tell you the truth i came across it by chance as i was looking for something else in the Bible.

I hope I am not misunderstanding you here, do you honestly think the word of God teaches that IF you get saved as a Lesbial, Homosexual, thief, adulterer, etc, then He is ok with that???

For those who sit under the original sin nature teaching, and have no problems with it can clearly see what this false pagan teaching leads to! And why most who profess Christ are on the wide road that leads to perdition.
The gospel according to godliness has been replaced by a gospel according to sin, rebellion and disobedience, such as this very confused and misguided person is, thinking they are Ok in rebellion to God, since the whole creation is just like her!
Those who feel she is right, or that you can sin like the devil, and still enter into heaven are under the strong delusion God promised to send upon you who defend sin and willful rebellion towards God.
Why do they throw out many, many warnings from scripture, telling them point blank they will not inherit the kingdom of God, IF they continue in these vile sins, making many excuses why they are exempt, such as they were born a depraved sinner, and this is what they do, or that all’s salvation is to them is a quick fix to cover and condone them in their blatant rebellion towards God.
Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap.
Gal 6:8 For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit.
I guess these verses mean nothing to them since they are still carnal sold under sin, their minds are of the world and they love the darkness over the light, they think it’s normal for the professed Christian to walk one day in the light, then another day in the dark, while they commit heinous vile acts of immorality and profess Christ.
If this is you I would ask you to at least abandon your so called faith, and stop trampling on the precious blood of Christ every time you seek to feed you flesh. I ask you to stop calling yourself a follower of Christ, and He came to set the captives from the bondage's and corrupting influence of sin, which can only occur through a real repentance and faith!
Not those who confess I am a poor sinner, and will always be this way, and will always sin every day in thought, word and deed!
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Folks, this is talking about sins of the flesh as stated in my opening scripture from Galations, which tells me who is born of God and who isn't, it’s that simple!
But if you still want to argue IN favor of sin and disobedience to God then ponder these powerful words from the Lord:
Go and sin no more!
Be Holy and separate!
Depart from iniquity!
The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God!
God is angry with the wicked, disobedient every day!
Lay aside all filthiness, and wickedness!
Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness!
Only the pure in heart will see God!
Keep yourself in the love of God!
Having escaped the corruption and pollution of this world through lust!
No longer a slave to sin but a slave to righteousness!
The soul that sins shall die!
Crucify your flesh with Christ!
Dead to sin alive to God!
Repentance produces heart purity!
Faith that works through love and obedience!
Not even a hint of immorality between those who call themselves saints!
The carnal mind is death and an enemy of God!
Just a few commands of God, NOT suggestions, which all can be verified by those who seek truth, and care about their soul and the souls of others under this strong delusion.
I just don't see a clause in scripture that excuses those who profess Christ, and think they can continue as a lesbian, homosexual, drunkard, adulterer, fornication, etc., and still be IN the will of God!
This is a fairy tale conjured up in the minds of many carnal minds who love the lie, love the flesh, and have no concern what so ever to come to a real saving faith that only real repentance and faith proven by deeds can accomplish, as apart from this the carnal mind is still active, and controlling the mind instead of the spirit of God, that would never lead a true convert into defending sin and disobedience as the liberal, lukewarm church does on a daily basis!

The word rings true through all the hearts of men, who still have ears to hear, and a strong warning to those who don't, and conceal the truth in unrighteousness, seeking the opinions of man, forsaking their birthright as Esau did, and becoming so hard hearted in sin, it may be impossible for them to escape the snare of the devil!
Isa 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

You won't find the truth in your favorite church or pastor, who is telling you that you can sin and be disobedient to God and you will surely not die! This is the lie from the pit!

How will you escape? Many think we are born sinners, so we can blame our so called sin nature on why we can sin with impunity and still be called a Christian..

The Absurdity of ‘Born a Sinner’
This is a long and jagged road with thousands of detours along the way. But they all lead to the same destination …. Perdition! The fallacy of human depravity has many forms in the minds of ‘believers’. Some see it as an ‘inbred nature’ that enviably brings about their sinful behavior. Others called it simply my ‘sinful nature’ and blame it on every addiction known to man. The scholars dwell into the ‘depravity’ angle and conclude that all mankind is born in a state of total degeneracy wholly disposed to wickedness and cut off from God.
Professed believers don’t really like to think of themselves as ‘totally depraved’ but they do key in on the inbred sin myth as their perfect excuse for wrong doing. That makes this teaching the Central core doctrine in the minds of supposed Christians and totally facilitates the Substitutionary plan of Salvation. But you really have to go out onto a limb to find support for it in the Bible. The main reason for this is because it ‘defies’ Logic. Man Cannot be ‘Born’ a sinner, without the ability to obey God’s commands and also possess free will to choose between right and wrong. One cancels out the other. If I can CHOOSE then I can OBEY, which also translates into making a conscience decision to STOP sinning.
God told Cain: ‘If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” Gen4:7
Cain was born from the loins of Adam AFTER the expulsion from the Garden, which would give him the ‘awful’ sinful nature most people believe in. However God gave him a definite Choice between good and bad. Of course most Scholars would claim that Cain was either ‘elect’ or had the ability to make a right choice. YET this passage contradicts them in both directions! This passage PROVES beyond any shadow of a doubt that man not only has a Choice between right and wrong but also the ability to REASON with God. Isa1:16-20 appeals to sense of determination:
Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, Says the Lord,
Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Take a break from your daily sinning in thought, word and deed and try to analyze this passage. God is appealing to your ability to reason; CLEAN up your act, amend your evil ways, LEARN to do good!!! Despite what has been pounded into your brains about addiction and sin natures, you know DEEP DOWN that people are fully capable of beating their addictions. Every day people stop drinking, smoking, taking drugs or living a life of uncontrollable lust. It’s not easy, of course, BUT it is possible …. and WITHOUT the supposed assistance of the Holy Spirit. (that professed believers who live in these additions claim to have!)
Yes among ‘believers’ its’ sin, sin and more sin, and every excuse in the world to absolve them of wrong. In all matters of life they exercise their God given free will to make life changing decisions, but when it comes to Obeying God (as in the Isaiah passage) they are immediately rendered inoperative. THINK about it ….. be honest for a change. HOW can what you believe be in line with the Bible when ‘ceasing to do evil’ is considered a ‘Works’ Salvation? The following summarizes the great injury sin nature teaching has done in the minds of people exposed to it. Here’s quote from one deeply addicted to fleshly corruption who has reasoned to the logical conclusion that ‘believing sinners’ have no place to Judge others no matter how vile the sin.

Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright, But they have sought out many schemes. Ecc7:29

‘Upright’ in this passage is like the opposite of perverse. It means: Straight, level, correct, Right and pleasing. And sin Cannot be transferred from a father to his off-spring. ‘The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son’ Ezk18:20 ‘The soul who sins shall die!’ Therefore it’s commonsense logic that neither can we bare the guilt of Adam because he disobeyed God in the Garden or imagine that somehow his sin caused man to be born defective with a mysterious ‘Dual Nature’. A person’s addiction to sin came about by their own personal choices to gratify the lust of the flesh instead of obey God. That’s why the Bible says: ‘If you live according to the flesh you will die’ Rom8:6.
Not that ‘flesh’ of itself is corrupt or inbred with a kind of malady, but the DESIRES of the flesh have ‘Grown’ corrupt by constant indulgence in wrong doings.
Claiming that some ‘nature’ lurks within your flesh that causes you to sin, is like jesting that the ‘devil made me to it!’ But isn’t that EXACTLY what the absurdity of inbred sin has done in the minds of people? Giving them an iron clad excuse to pass off their responsibility to do what is right! Hi Cassie, thanks for sharing your story. The human experiance can be quite complicated especially when it comes to the desires of the flesh. Homosexual, heterosexual, all these different sexuals lol. I wonder why you chose this chat room to share your story when most people here are against your lifestyle. Cassie our God is a god of order. He made everything for a specific purpose and function. In my younger days I had an appetite for the ladies. I used to see several different ladies at one time. I remember saying that it was something that God would have to deal with me about later beause I wanted what I wanted. Cassie as I grew in Christ I begin to love Him more and I didn't want to disappoint Him and I wanted His blessing in my life. I gradually changed my ways, and begin to live my life His way. You know what I discoved that His way over rules my way , because He knows what's best for me. I wish you all the best. LOVE ALWAYS

In SO many cases. The only worship God receives is in Spirit and in truth. Everything else is false worship. Let's remember how displeased God was with Israel when they approached Him but their hands and hearts were "dirty". So yes, our worship can many times be outright repulsive to God.

Going through life hating yourself is not necessary brother, but asking Father to show you your true identity. While we do not look at things that are seen, but at things unseen. Not looking at our flesh behaviour but by faith looking/seeing ourself as He sees us..Christ in you the hope of Glory.
While you say hating myself is not the way to go, I can't help to feel that some think it is. You're one of the very few people who have told me to not hate myself. Thank you.

Then you are not in sin. Sexual preference, according to the best research is set at about age 8. Human sexual response, unlike any other mammal, shuts off at about age 6 months, and kicks back on at about age 8. Whatever you are experiencing socially becomes your lifetime sexual preference. I think (my opinion) this is the cause of ALL of it, although I know most people believe being gay can be inborn.

I don't have any feelings for them. Majority of the times I have become uncomfortable have been when I have been put into a situation where I am with a straight guy. I can't relate to straight guys.

If I had dated a girl, especially my best friend who everyone said I should date, it wouldn't have worked out. When I finally told her I was gay she said she had been suspecting.



Replace the word "lesbian/homosexual" in the OP with the word 'murderer' and reread again. That way, you can reasoned it out for yourself and find the answer to your OP without other Christians telling you this and that.
I know and understand that all sins are equal in God's eyes, but as a human how can you compare a murderer to a gay person? I just can't do it, just as I can't compare a liar to a murderer.

Heaven includes people of all walks of life. No matter what age, race, gender, or sin. Heaven includes the forgiven.

I may be wrong, but I think what she is implying is a come as you are idea. God knows that she is a lesbian and she said that she has been drawn back to Him. God may change her in the future, but that is not for any of us to decide. She needs to live her life in Christ as she sees fit and not how anyone else tells her because then she would be following the ideas of someone else and whose to say they are on the right path. She will answer for how she lives, not you or I.

Our worship may be repulsive to God sometimes, but that is no reason to tell someone to not worship Him. God knows true worship from false worship and it is not our place to decide who will truly worship him or not.

I'm not sure if this was deliberate or accidental, but when delivering 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, it is best to include verse 11 as well. Without verse 11 you are blatantly stating she will not get into Heaven. We are all unrighteous and we all fall short of the glory of God and that is why verse 11 is so important.
I am only bearing witness to truth of what God’s Word says. These are not my words, but the Word of God. So let us take a look at the verse your saying I deliberately left out so we might come to understand.

1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

In the above verse we see the word “were.” Were is past tense. Do you understand this Daniel94? Those who “were” committing these things are no longer doing them for they had been washed, sanctified, justified in the name of the Lord Jesus by the Spirit of our God. So did it really matter that I included verse 11? I probably should have used for it shows that they who “were”(the old man) doing these things no longer are (the new man). For if they were still doing these things then the word “were” would not have been used and we would see the word “are” in it’s place.

You know brother it is true that we all fall short of the Glory of God. But I believe there is a difference. Many of us struggle with temptation daily in our lives. Some of us have daily victories (Praise God!) and some of us fail and give in to such temptation. And after we have failed either by guilt or conviction of the Holy Spirit we hit our knees and ask forgivness. For if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.
But to be disobedient to God’s Word and continue unrepented in a sinful lifestyle I fear will only lead to that person hearing the words “I never knew you.”

1Co 6:15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid.
1Co 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to a harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

Our bodies are the members of Christ. So if we take our bodies and willfully disobey what God’s Word says (homosexuality is an abomination) and give in to the desires of the flesh and continue to do so, do you honestly believe that Christ would dwell in such a body? God Forbid!


Why do you assume we lack faith in God?
We read throughout the gospels how our Lord healed many and even raised the dead.
If our Lord can do these things can he not work an effective work in someone who desires the lusts of the flesh? Yes he can! But many turn back to their old ways (the old man) and give in to sin. This is not having true faith, and trusting our Lord to heal them.

1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

We all grow daily in Christ but if we turn back to our old ways how can we continue to grow spiritually?

It's not as simple as stopping the act or never starting. It's much deeper than that.
None of our battles are simple. Do you think it is any easier for the alcoholic, druggie, fornicator, liar, thief, or any such, who have been doing these things for years, more years than you’ve been alive?
Before I became saved I use to use the Lord’s name in vain and even after, I use to use His name in vain when I became angry or got caught up in the conversation. It wasn’t easy and didn’t happen over night. It took time and a renewing of my mind. I had to change my thought process.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Part of our battle is not letting God purge us of all that is displeasing to Him,we do not want Him to do that because it hurts while we are going through it. When He refines us we will go through things we do not want to go through but in the end it will conform us more and more into the image of Christ.

Our worship may be repulsive to God sometimes, but that is no reason to tell someone to not worship Him. God knows true worship from false worship and it is not our place to decide who will truly worship him or not.
If we are in the truth, we need to tell people to worship God the right way.

In SO many cases. The only worship God receives is in Spirit and in truth. Everything else is false worship. Let's remember how displeased God was with Israel when they approached Him but their hands and hearts were "dirty". So yes, our worship can many times be outright repulsive to God.
If you really meant to imply that no one in sin has the right to join in the worship on Sunday morning, let's close the churches now, and stop fooling ourselves.

By what I experienced socially, are you meaning my environment or what?

Are bondage and the acting out of clothing fantasies sins if performed with in a committed and faithful marriage in which both parties agree? Is a fetish for the feet of ones partner a sin if it does not expand further than ones own partner? Could you explain to me how being gay compares to the other three?

How long does God need? How do you know you are called to be married until you find that one person you want to be with the rest of your life? What if someone finds that one person, but they are the same sex?

Believe me when I tell you that I know a lot of people of the opposite sex. Most of my previous friends were girls. Most of my current friends are girls. I never really formed friendships with the same sex for fear of liking one of them too much. I wasn't going to do that to myself. It was easier to surround myself with girls. I can talk to them. I don't have any feelings for them. Majority of the times I have become uncomfortable have been when I have been put into a situation where I am with a straight guy. I can't relate to straight guys.

If I had dated a girl, especially my best friend who everyone said I should date, it wouldn't have worked out. When I finally told her I was gay she said she had been suspecting.


I mean the best research says that your sexual preferences are set at about age 8, and it is based on how you process social interaction in your family, school, playtimes with other children, etc. I know mine was. Whether there is an inborn something, that controls what of that environment you see, is not known.

That is exactly my point. These are not sins if used by the husband and wife together as expressions of love. My wife knew things about me she took to her grave. I know things about her I will never tell. God respects this, and I know because there have been many men of God in my life who knew a lot about me, who God would not tell these things to. I used to know a woman who had worn 4 inch heels so long, she could not walk in tennis shoes. To me, it meant only that her feet hurt, but I guess her husband loved it. I believe your preferences that you think are pushing you towards a homosexual relationship, are of the same type. You are misinterpreting something because homosexuality is so publicized now. I believe that if God wants you married, your wife will accept that about you and it will work for the two of you, just as others' fantasies can be integrated into their sexual experience.

God does not intend for you to marry someone of the same sex. His Word is clear. If you find such a person, it is not God. I am not homosexual, so I can't feel what you feel for men. I am sharing from my sexual experience with my wife. This has caused me to conclude that we are wrong to say, that because we feel like we prefer a man, that we must enter into a life that God's word condemns. I believe that those who feel that way, could find a suitable partner of the opposite sex, or are chosen by God not to marry. We do not talk about either of those options in society.

My wife was one in 100,000 [rounded estimate, but pretty close]. If I had dated, I would have been wasting my time, also. So I feel exactly as you do, with this part. What would you do if you ever had a male friend, who was not himself homosexual? Have you ever tried?

I don't hate anybody but it does hurt when you are judging me and accusing me of blasphomy and then mocking me i just asked a few questions that was on my mind so i asked them and i did state asking people before not to judge me and it felt like you went out of your way to do so. But i don't hate you i always see the good in people. Everybody has different views and i only wanted to share my view if i have upset my farther with my thought i really am sorry, and only my farther will judge me. And if i have upset you in which i may have i'm truly sorry that i have.

You say don't judge, but the spiritual are called to judge righteously! You are in great danger of loosing your soul, as you claim you are a Christian, and a practicing lesbian, you need to repent and seek the mercy of God, forsake your evil ways and immorality, count the cost and seek His great mercy while you still have breath!

The Bible as God gave it to us does not address that issue, because He means for it to get fixed another way. Did you see the thread a couple weeks ago about the new "Queen James Bible" translation for gays? It says lust is a sin, even for the same sex.

The general principle is that if you want to have sex with someone, and nourish that thought, you are committing adultery in your heart against the person you will one day marry. Jesus' principle is that thoughts nourished in the heart cut you off from God as certainly as the actions the thoughts condone. The whole point is staying with God.

I know several ex-homosexuals, both men and women,and they are rigid in their belief that homosexuality is a sin.

That being said, one sister who came out of the homosexual lifestyle was caught up in a couple of what she described as "emotional roller coaster" type heterosexual relationships. She was not born again in all of this. Anyway, she said her enticement into homosexuality came from women that proclaimed how callous and cruel men were emotionally. She thought the women was telling her the truth, so in her words, she "took the plunge" into the homosexual lifestyle.

In less than a year, she the same things occurring in her relationships with women as it had with men. She was on the emotional roller coaster yet again. She found women to be just as selfish, cruel, and callous as had been the men in her life.

Long story short, Jesus found her and she decided to stop fornicating with men or women until she knew more about G-d and the Holy Bible.

I said all that to say this: While we were attending the same fellowship, she would join us as we go out witnessing as a group. I often heard her testify to same sex couples. If one or both decided to get saved, after praying with them, she would almost always say something along these lines, "Don't worry so much about whether or not homosexuality is a sin right now, but first decide to serve G-d with all your heart. Read His Word everyday and It will show you what is right and what is wrong for your life."

I am only bearing witness to truth of what God’s Word says. These are not my words, but the Word of God. So let us take a look at the verse your saying I deliberately left out so we might come to understand.

1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

In the above verse we see the word “were.” Were is past tense. Do you understand this Daniel94? Those who “were” committing these things are no longer doing them for they had been washed, sanctified, justified in the name of the Lord Jesus by the Spirit of our God. So did it really matter that I included verse 11? I probably should have used for it shows that they who “were”(the old man) doing these things no longer are (the new man). For if they were still doing these things then the word “were” would not have been used and we would see the word “are” in it’s place.

You know brother it is true that we all fall short of the Glory of God. But I believe there is a difference. Many of us struggle with temptation daily in our lives. Some of us have daily victories (Praise God!) and some of us fail and give in to such temptation. And after we have failed either by guilt or conviction of the Holy Spirit we hit our knees and ask forgivness. For if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.
But to be disobedient to God’s Word and continue unrepented in a sinful lifestyle I fear will only lead to that person hearing the words “I never knew you.”

1Co 6:15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid.
1Co 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to a harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

Our bodies are the members of Christ. So if we take our bodies and willfully disobey what God’s Word says (homosexuality is an abomination) and give in to the desires of the flesh and continue to do so, do you honestly believe that Christ would dwell in such a body? God Forbid!




We read throughout the gospels how our Lord healed many and even raised the dead.
If our Lord can do these things can he not work an effective work in someone who desires the lusts of the flesh? Yes he can! But many turn back to their old ways (the old man) and give in to sin. This is not having true faith, and trusting our Lord to heal them.

1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

We all grow daily in Christ but if we turn back to our old ways how can we continue to grow spiritually?

Before I became saved I use to use the Lord’s name in vain and even after, I use to use His name in vain when I became angry or got caught up in the conversation. It wasn’t easy and didn’t happen over night. It took time and a renewing of my mind. I had to change my thought process.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Basically, I wasn't trying to start a debate with you. From my perspective without verse 11 verses 9-10 make it out to be no hope for change. It lists all the types of people not going to Heaven and then verse 11 makes my soul lift. With the use of the word were it gives you hope and ensures you you're not alone. As much as we all know that we aren't alone that there is someone going through the same thing as us, you can't help to feel lonely sometimes. That's just my opinion and how those verses affect me. Believe me when I was first told verses 9-10 I felt so lost. I had no hope until I read verse 11.

You know, I never said any other sin was any less difficult. However, when talking about sin the word choice is thrown around a lot. You may not believe me, but I never had the choice in deciding to be attracted to men or women. The drunk chose to drink. The druggie chose to do drugs. The murderer chose to murder. The liar chose to lie. The thief chose to steal. Do you get my point? This attraction was thrust upon me without my approval. If I had the power to make myself become attracted to women I would do it right this second. Actually I would have done it years ago.

You know I don't really believe the environment thing. Once they can show me what things turned me gay then I'll believe it. On the other hand I don't believe I was born this way either. I feel it is a combination of the two, but I think genetics has more of a play than environment. I lived a perfectly normal childhood as a boy. No interest in dolls or toys associated with girls, I played video games, I played sports, I was your typical boy. I really don't see where I turned gay or what turned me gay.

God knows his creation. He knows we will at some point get stuck between the cross hair, which is why He says to marry. So if I truly love this guy and you say I can not marry, will I just burn then? I'm not saying that I'm going to go hunt for some guy because that is farthest from the truth, but what if he does show up in my life? You have one thing 100% right and that is that unless you experience this you will never understand. You know you say we don't talk about the option of marrying the opposite sex or remaining celibate. Do you not think that hasn't crossed our minds? Especially those of us who are trying to live a life pleasing to God. However, the first usually ends up in divorce, which is also a sin. How can you love someone when you don't love them the way you're suppose to? How do you live the lie? As for the second option many do become celibate, but the fact remains that they're still gay.

I think you misunderstood me. Majority of my friends have been girls, but I have had male friends and I'm still friends with a few of them today. All of them were/are straight unless they've been hiding something. To be honest I've never had a gay friend. I'm not saying I can't have a friendship with a male it's just I'd rather not. I'm not saying I like every guy I see, but it's easier to not have myself in a situation where something could possibly form.

I know several ex-homosexuals, both men and women,and they are rigid in their belief that homosexuality is a sin.

That being said, one sister who came out of the homosexual lifestyle was caught up in a couple of what she described as "emotional roller coaster" type heterosexual relationships. She was not born again in all of this. Anyway, she said her enticement into homosexuality came from women that proclaimed how callous and cruel men were emotionally. She thought the women was telling her the truth, so in her words, she "took the plunge" into the homosexual lifestyle.

In less than a year, she the same things occurring in her relationships with women as it had with men. She was on the emotional roller coaster yet again. She found women to be just as selfish, cruel, and callous as had been the men in her life.

Long story short, Jesus found her and she decided to stop fornicating with men or women until she knew more about G-d and the Holy Bible.

I said all that to say this: While we were attending the same fellowship, she would join us as we go out witnessing as a group. I often heard her testify to same sex couples. If one or both decided to get saved, after praying with them, she would almost always say something along these lines, "Don't worry so much about whether or not homosexuality is a sin right now, but first decide to serve G-d with all your heart. Read His Word everyday and It will show you what is right and what is wrong for your life."

From your example it does sound as though this woman "took the plunge." You said other women enticed her into homosexuality. Well from that I gather she was never gay to start with. It was something to attempt to get away from men as you also said. The thing is it doesn't happen like that with everyone. Some of us are exposed to our feelings for the same gender at a very early age. Some of us never develop feelings for the opposite gender. Anyways, my point is some of us aren't taught or enticed into being gay we just are.

I don't know either and I agree it is probably some combination. Most boys have no interest in dolls or girls toys either. But most boys see that about themselves, and use that fact as evidence they are straight.

My fundamental point is that you are whoever God made you. I believe, that your belief that you must marry a man to express love in a sexual way, is not true. I think you believe this only because society is conspiring to tell you this over and over, and at the same time is conspiring to hide the other options. One hidden option is that single is okay. Next option is that the way you feel is not about marrying a man, but it is about marrying a different type of woman from those who subscribe to society's norm.

We are taught by society that women are supposed to do certain things that make them attractive to men. I think we can assume you are not attracted by those things. My point is that it is entirely possible that you will be attracted to another type of woman, one who does things differently. Because this is rare, you might have to wait quite a while to meet her. After all, society is telling her not to do what she is doing, either. She will probably have disparaged of ever finding a husband as well. You only need one wife (if you need one at all). This woman, and you together, would not be in sin. You would be married, as God intended you to be.

My point is, don't assume that what you are experiencing is evidence of option 1, when there are options 2 and 3 also. That's why I told you a little of my story; God had a special woman for me, and until her, I couldn't care for anyone.

Ask yourself, what do you like about men? Is it something no woman could have? Why is it? I think you'll find that 90% of what we think men and women are supposed to be is socially induced. At your age, I didn't understand much of this either. The older you get, the more you realize that the reproductive organs and hormones affect only a small percentage of who you are, unless you choose to let them affect more.

My belief is that God's word says He has provided you with another option to this. I can't understand the feel of "gayness", that's true. But I don't feel some other things too, yet I see around me people who think they are under compulsion to kill, or steal, or lust after women, or tell lies, and I know there is another option for those. I think it is likely God has another option for the compulsion to be gay, as well.

I don't believe I have to marry a man or woman. I can be happy and single, but that doesn't mean I have to shut myself off from the possibility of ever marrying. I told you I'm not going to go on a hunt for man and I won't do it for a woman either. Right now I have more important things in my life to focus on than worrying about being single. I'm just saying that when you're not looking is when you find someone. I'm not saying I will find someone, but if I do I don't think I could close myself off from having a relationship if I truly felt something for them. I'm not trying to be rude, but your focused way to much on how society affects me. Society has no power over me. I don't care what anyone thinks of me or what society says I am allowed to do and not do. I'm at the point in my life that the only opinions that matter to me are God's and my parents. They are the only ones I do not want to disappoint. Honestly, if society had a grip on me I wouldn't have thought about suicide. I would have realized that society says being gay is okay so I can be. The thing is it didn't happen that way. I was too worried how God feels about me and how my parents will feel if they ever find out.

I am all for going deeper than outside appearances. The persons personality, their hobbies, their interests, and anything else about them they're willing to share. We can't fool ourselves though, appearance does matter, just as reproductive organs do too. If you don't mind me asking what made you love your wife? How did you know she was the one?

I believe there are options for everything too, but the right choice isn't as clear to me as it is to you.

What is my current interpretation? To be perfectly honest with you I don't even know what I believe about this. I may present my case as if I'm set in my views and opinions, but that is not it. I am merely trying to come at it from a different angle. I am trying to better understand so the answer I need can become clearer.
