OFM, this is a discussion forum, not an sms message. Please write complete words and sentences. The content of your post is good though (minus the sparkly fairy thing).

A little make up is okay. But, if you have to use a putty knife to remove it, you've over done it ! Sister !

LOL@ sparkle! :) I agree, Gabe. A healthy glow from proper nutrition, exercise and fresh air is far better than anything makeup can give us. We should take care of our bodies, but not worship them. I went overboard a couple of years back with P90X and my abs started to look far more defined than I thought appeared feminine. Everything in moderation, huh? :) Except sunblock...I require massive quantities of sunblock. haha

I think abs on a woman is fine. In fact, I used to admire the old-time female bodybuilders like Cory Everson who had good definition, but still looked very feminine.

There are some females who I feel take it just a little too far though, like this otherwise beautiful young lady who has just has little too much muscle in my opinion..

Sorry for bogarting the thread.

I am probably one of only a few women here who don't wear an ounce of make-up. The only thing you will see on me is lip gloss and that is mostly to keep my lips being smooth. I mentioned this in another thread but I was blessed with baby soft skin and besides my freckles have never had a problem with acne or blemishes so I never felt the need to cover something up or even to enhance what I currently have.

I like wearing makeup. I like playing around with different colors of eyeshadow and it makes me feel good. The most important thing I think is what you are personally comfortable with. If no makeup makes you happy then do it. If you like makeup, wear it.

I always joke with my loved ones nowadays if they say "you look beautiful" or "you are looking good" I say "its makeup".
Truly believer of inner beauty true beauty buuuuuut ofcourse it can be nice put some lipstick and makeup on every now and then.

More about the feel.
What you look like and feel like are two different things.
You may feel horrid yet not look asif you do with a mask of makeup on.

I dont really wear make often.
Not even once a week.
Mainly cause dont go out much.

Maybe if I had someone go out to dinner with or movies I would wear it more often.

Am taking myself out on a date to the movies on valentines day so will wear makeup then.
Nicer someone go with but

Lipstick can feel soft on lips and moisturise, foundation can be sunscreen.
Make up can also be fun.

Would like to buy makeup made in a morally good way.

Not overly interested in makeup at moment but do like have some basic products in the bathroom.

Heard of poor woman go to bed with makeup on thinking the man they are with should not see them without it.
Ofcourse theres eyelash extention or tint one could do instead.
Such hard work and expensive.

I prefer natural.

A face with facial expressions, a smile, laughter, tears....... its real, true and beautiful.

Truly inner beauty is the goer.

Think of exorcism. ha ha ha

Or chucky the posessed doll. ha ha ha

Imagine a human body ever so attractive but with whom inside it?
You feel it.
That attractive body can be incredibly unattractive du to whom owns it or is inside it.

Last exorcist similar movie I saw the horrid one they trying to make leave the body was pretend be nice sometimes and was always always laughing and very smart.
The priest almost died driving out or forsing the horrid one to leave the body.
The one whom owned the body did not want them in it, mainly it.
One was worse than others and playing mind games with priest and just laughing all the time.
Made the soul whos body belongs to feel ugly and hated and awful to have the malicious one in body, sucking or milking it of its naturallight and energy and etc.

Anyway, makeup can still be lovely but im not so interested at moment apart from a bit basic stuff on if go out some where along with a pair heels.

I would not like makeup in bed though when sleep together and makeup on sheets.
No, wash sheets to often then and nicer cuddle naturala .

Saw a book called "Making Faces" and its amazing the work he has done.

If you interested in makeup, have a look at it.

Transformed faces and one is astonished its same people.
They can look so amazingly chick, elegant....
Wow.
wish i that good at it for wheeeeeen one doez go out and wear it.
In that book they give tips how apply and they have makeup for all types events.
Sure is "the feel".
One can wear makeup and feel awful and wear no makeup and feel gorgeous.
Holy ghost , love, Jesus, humbleness, peace within who one is. (no exorcisms needed cause no one violating posessing body lol)
Having someone else do your make up can feel nice aswell, if they professional or good at it.

Im personally not that "into it" at moment.
Probably much du to social life and lack of outings.

Also cant remember hooow to apply gorgeously aaaand dont feel inspired.
But sure it can be much nice, pretty colours and play with it.Can feel soft on skin and nice when dress up.

I think if I was a pig, horse, tree and so forth and my true colours of whom and all i am.
Although makeup is part of human culture and been around long time and it has many purposes was even combined with medicine back in way in da days.

So i've been having a huge dilema for years on wether or not to wear makeup (boys keep reading, I promise I have a point to all this!). Though I do have to wear it for my job as an esthetician. I love makeup in the fact that it can be fun, you get to play around with it. But what I don't like is the idea it was created for. Makeups whole purpose is to change a womens look, make them "more attractive" to men. Why can't we just love our face for what it is? God gave us our face, not so we can change it. I also hate how many compliments I get when I do my makeup. It makes me feel like i'm only pretty if I do up my face, or the guy I like will only notice me if my makeups done. Florecent lights don't help either! They make every one look like they are sick! Guys don't have to wear makeup everyday, they are considered attractive naturally. So why can't girls be perceived the same way? Anyway the point to this long post is I wanted to find out what christian guys have to say on the subject. Do you think women should wear makeup? Should it just be for special occasions, or not at all? Or should women wear makeup because it makes them more attractive? Give us girls some insight!

Well, Blue3Falcon, I believe that's entirely up to the person. I believe that women are more attractive without makeup, personally. I'm a big fan of natural beauty, authenticity, and originality. I find beauty in the simple and complicated.

While there's a lot to be said for how a girl appears in the factors of attraction, there is just as much or more to be said for how she 'comes across'. Confidence, kindness, and humor do more to make a woman attractive than any amount, type, or combination of makeup ever can.

That said, if you like makeup, then wear it. If you don't, then don't. You define you.

Im very pale , a little blush and lipstick hasnt hurt anyone!

I never said there was anything bad about being pale i love it i like wearing red lipstick because it emphasises how pale i am.

How on earth did you mix the two words up? 'Blush' and 'foundation' don't even contain any of the same letters!

Because of this and reading too quickly! :)

I have pretty pale skin, and a bit of darkness under my eyes. If I don't wear foundation and blush people ask if I am sick :( It is helpful when going into work the next day after calling in sick when I really wasn't. No one questions it lol

Sure they do. That "U" being the third letter in both words gets real confusing. :p

You seem to have some fixation with exorcisms, and exorcism movies.

Blah, I read "blush" as "foundation", shoulda been more attentive. Too many kinds of makeup! :)

Oh dear LightningClap0002. You have no idea. I don't use much makeup but if I named off all different types and types of the types, it'd probably make your head spin. ;)

Make-up is great! Best foundation out there is a liquid one by M.A.C called MatchMaster. WOW! I use to have issues with oily skin caused by foundation, not with this stuff. It is well worth the money. I almost see it as an art- playing with shades and colors

Most women don't know how to wear make-up & end up looking like a circus clown. I prefer less to none. Mainly because I don't want my clothes or lips caked in it when I hug or kiss. I used to attend a church where this one lady would always greet me with a hug. She was around 5-4 & I am 5-10,so when we hugged the make-up on her face would smear off on my shirt. UGH! Not fun.
