I thought this could be a fun thread. Lets just assume for now that soulmates do exist.

Imagine where your soulmate is right now and tell us where that is and what they are doing. :)

My soulmate is a trauma nurse in a hospital emergency room trying to save lives and ease the pain and shock of those who are suffering.

I'm thinking my soul mate is in line at a really good Chinese buffet place... He's contemplating whether to have the General Tso's chicken or the Honey Shrimp and then decides to get both.

And one day I'm gonna meet him there as we're both dipping the tongs into the last pan of fried rice...

"Oh... I'm sorry!"

"No, you go first, really!!!" I'm thinking if he's really my soul mate and a true gentleman, he's going to let me have the last of the rice.

And we'll walk happily into the sunset, or at least back to the same table... both plates piled high (even though he had to get something else since of course he allowed me to have the rice.)

I'm thinking our first date might be to the gym.

My soul mate is busy baking brownies and washing dishes. After that she's gonna scrub the toilet :P

My soulmate is preaching the gospel somewhere and giving his testimony about how God has been good to him... I suppose...
It is by this kind that I have been praying...

Or, she could have committed suicide.

(Sorry folks... I've sat in a room with a guy who shot and killed his parents... And, I've been in the hospital for my own suicide attempt as well. I have just as much of a dark side as some of the people who post here and sometimes feel the need to rise... or stoop... to the challenge.)

Sorry Zero! Very cool thread idea... Sorry for the brief interruption.

No where. There is no such thing as a soul mate.

The Bible may not have any passages that scream, "YOU HAVE A SOUL MATE!!" but I do believe God makes, and brings together, highly compatible people.

Being adopted, I always say if God had allowed me to choose my own parents, and He would have let me choose from Bill Gates, Donald Trump, or a couple living in a $5000 trailer in the middle of the midwest, I would have made the wrong choice.

And they are the absolute perfect choice for me, through all the heartache, medical difficulties, screaming hell fights, rebellion and tears...

I may never find "the one"--but God was gracious enough to grant me not just one, but two.

My parents are, by far, the closest examples of soul mates to each other (they've been together since ages 13 and 15 and with NO one else, ever,) and to me as I have ever read about or experienced. If I never find "the one", I'll always be grateful for the two souls who have bonded with my own for now and always, even though as people, we are complete opposites!!

My soul mate is probably sitting there reading this thread thinking, "I don't believe in soul mates". :p

Wait until you meet me. I will be changing a whole lot of things that you may not think is possible!
