I have wondered if Catholics are perhaps right, but what concerns me are some practices that appear to defy what is written in scripture, for example:
Why have Catholics made statues of Jesus and Mary....and these are bowed down to.
Catholics call their priest Father....I don't get it.
so why do Catholic have a booth that they go into and confess their sins to someone they call "Father" and this they do in a booth so that it is secret??

Its Because you're so un-informed, or mis-informed about us that you so wrongly believe all this stuff about us lol its as plain as day. loveme1, there is absolutely no bitterness in my heart toward you. If you don't agree with what we believe (which you quite evidently don't), that's fine and its none of my business. But, all I ask, is, PLEASE, don't accuse my brothers and sisters of being evil and being wrong, because there is NO WAY IN THE WORLD that you can be certain of that, and you're hurting them by showing so much anger and hatred toward them. Hey youjust continue on your path to knowing God, you keepsifting everything through your heart asking Father truth as you hear and go here in this life, God himself desires to be your teacher under the new covenant that he put in place through his Son Jesus Christ the righteous one, and by believing in Christ you are in God the Father an dbeing in God the Father God the Father states this to you no l.onger to you need anyoone else to teach you, for I (GOD) am your teacher. When I read and heard this as I read I was elated that God gives through the cross direct access to him and have direct teaching from him by the Holy Ghost. And truth from error started seperating and I personally have been set free, but the world came against me and I have taken it knowing God just love me. Guess waht GOD JUST LOVE YOU ALL AS WELL, and it is God that gets each of us to stand re-read romans 14 itis much deeper that limiting it to food. Food was the problem at that time so itwas used to bring out truth. God has cleaned all things in and of itself, thereofre it is what I do with whatever I haveto keep it clean or not.

What i agree or disagree with is not relevant you will find i was sharing what is pleasing and not pleasing to Heavenly Father and the Messiah.
If this is hateful to you then you should ask yourself why hearing the Truth according to Scripture makes you feel the person is angry and hates what you believe.

Wow, talk about twisting it around. The fact that you have tried so hard to tell me that alot of what i do is against God, and not understood fully what I believe, is in itself bitterness toward my religion, therefore toward me because it is me you're talking to. OK, maybe not hateful, but bordering spiteful. Nonetheless, not nice. I wasn't born yesterday, sis. I know bitterness when I see it.

I come from a family of irish catholics, my mother in law is catholic, they pass around a picture of the Pop and Mary from house to house, they kiss the picture and place it on a shrine, also when you pray the rosary you are worshipping, because prayer is an act of worship. And the popes first mission is to lay flowers at the feet of a statue of mary, how is this not an act of worship?? To think otherwise is purely hardening your heart against truth
