I have come to know through experience only ..

Speak to the King in a mans heart , the king will come out.
Speak to the fool in a mans heart, the fool will come out..

So what happens if we speak to a fool with a kingly love of bacon...

I am a man who is foolish no doubt.
I am a man who is thankful for all he has.
I am a man who's heart is broken at the thought of someone as awesome as Him loving me for as awesome as I am not.
I am a man who's God is never to blame for the things I see, feel & hear in this world that I do not comprehend.
Who am I?
Am I a man that would question the first and the last?
Yes.
...but then that is where His mercy steps in,and he loves me just the same.
My heart is to do what is right, even when my mind tells me it's pointless.
The heart of this man is not perfect, but the God that created it is.
In this truth alone is what sustains me...
that his work is not done in me nor around me,and until the day it is
He will always hold my heart.

Let me know if this works for you, if so i may borrow it, hahaha.

Speak to the King in a mans heart , the king will come out.
Speak to the fool in a mans heart, the fool will come out..

Hmm... that would explain a lot about my behavior... and i've never been accused of being kingly, haha.

Actually my ex-fiance is one of the only people to ever treat me in such a way to make me feel more empowered. She also ended up doing one of the coldest things to me anyone has ever done. So a bit confusing, haha.

Is that biblical? Cus it should be if it isn't! :)

>>> I have worked in a man's world all of my life and most of the men I know feel exactly as you do. No matter how highly competent a woman may be, a man's first instinct is to protect her, often at his own peril.<<<

Gosh... I remember men like that! they are still out there???? I am comforted to know my perspective might just be geographic!

You've never met my boss. It tickles me sometimes how concerned he is when his wife, I, or the other female teacher has to be at the studio alone. But at the same time, I appreciate it.

Eye rolls and laughter are better than pretending i'm not there. SCORE!

Your turn, gentlemen. Tell us what we don't know about the heart of a man.

I'm going to be a little different here.

Men are generally perceived as either a little cold and heartless, or far too 'on'. rarely do women understand why this is, and rarely is there an in between.

I believe it's because a man's heart looks at a woman's physical beauty before anything else. It looks at her eyes, her body, her smile, and it becomes attached to it like it becomes attached to the beauty of a physical object. And the woman thinks this is 'shallow'. But the thing is, that perception of her beauty never, ever, fades with time, like it would with any other physical object. It just becomes more and more.

When a man tells you that your are beautiful, he means that he could look at you for hours. He loves your form. The way you move. The way you walk. The way you speak. The way you are. And that causes him to become infatuated by you. Interested by you.

It isn't just reserved for socially 'beautiful' women. It's reserved for the female form itself. It's built into us.

It isn't fair to say that beauty is only skin deep, because for a man he can look at any women, just whichever one that happens to be the one that makes him feel that way, and fall completely in love with her in an instant. And no-matter what she says or does, or no-matter how much time goes by he'll always look at her like that.

My first love didn't treat me very well, but I still love her more than I can love anyone else. Like on the first day we met. I still see her that way.

and I probably always will. I just accept it. I don't let it interfere and I don't act on it. But that's something that will never fade.

You make a man into the way you treat him, in a way. And that's our vulnerability.

When a man has feelings for you and you treat that man like he is worthy, and loved, and cherished. Stable, handsome and valued, he behaves and becomes like a man like that.

When you treat him like a dog, he will bark and beg, and eventually bite and run off somewhere else.

That's what women don't get.

When I go into something, I'm ready for responsibility. But I'm also putting myself out just as much as she is.

Women ridicule and pay little attention sometimes, then they wonder why men become frugal with emotions and shy on commitment. they call it male ego, but it's not. It's feelings. Our version of them.

And men have become 'players' and rejectors, and the roles all reverse. Women chase men. And women think that they 'hold the cards' nowadays.

But it can't work that way because we can't make you happy unless we feel able to.
