No, if a Christian sees another Christian brother or sister sinning, they have every right to rebuke them. Most churches haven't got the courage to rebuke people. They say it's being judgmental, so instead they keep silent.
Dont say you have the "right" We are not to just go off willynilly rebuking every sin we see!!
There are plenty of scriptures that tell us how and when. Remember Jesus saw sin all the time
yet in most cases it says "He held His peace"

People that talk like your talking scare me. They usually end up causing alot of problems, hurt alot of people
and when they get alienated they walk away saying its because they serve God and thats why they are not liked.
Then the more they are alienated and the more friends they lose...the more pride they get in their heart that
they are serving God.....what a trip:p

If you thought about it id prolly have to bust your chops all day long for your sin.
But i havnt the time nor was i really called to do that. Wisdom is needed in every case
not just a flat out calling out on sin you think you see.

It is simple. Pastor is a male leadership role in scripture. Why? Maybe a woman pastor would not be respected or listened too and cause too much offense thus unnecessarily hindering the Gospel.
Also the secular world is not comfortable with the idea that men make better leaders. These role changes such as acceptance of women leaders in politics, law enforcement! Like lady sherrifs etc are becoming accepted by Christians therefore it only makes sense that women pastors would be accepted. To reject women pastors on the basis of God intending that only men be pastors one must also reject all women CEOs and women politicians and God forbid we elect a woman president.
I think we have to be careful on this.

Obviously your not very knowledgeable with the scriptures. The apostle Paul tells us not to even eat with such a person, someone who claims to be a Christian and is practicing sin. If modern day churches are too politically correct to rebuke their members for practicing sin, then someone has to do it. Christians seem more afraid of hurting people's feelings than they are of hell. Get a grip and stop being politically correct.

Ok then....Stephen repent....for your pride and lack of love and wisdom then go read Gal 6:1-3
Then pray for wisdom. And ask God to teach you what mercy means and how to care for peoples feelings.:)

This is how a rebuke should be done according to scripture.

Maybe we all need to read this one:
Titus 3:10 As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him,

Excuses just never cut it. The Ark is falling should i steady it? Or let it fall and get smashed?

You see, every reason on one side of the coin can very much be the same reasons on the other. Self-proclaimed heroes are everywhere. More often than not when you can never truly know them or even see their face.

This is how a rebuke should be done according to scripture.
If it is a true brother...someone with the indwelling Spirit then he already
has his conscience bugging him out and is already very sensitive thats
why we are to be tender....with a threat of falling ourselves if we tramp over them
carelessly as in Gal 6. God always wants us to be helping not hurting.

Rebukes are generally given quick and short to the reprobate or hardened person.
Then only God can get through.

Scripture says there is a way to rebuke. And you did not do it the right way.

Obvious your sinless. ssince you have no problem casting stones? What gives you the right to judge a person openly? Scripture says if you see a brother sinning, take him to the side, if he still sins, Take a witness, if he still sins, THEN we do the verse you just posted.

You have problems, serious problems. Its people who do what you did that get people not to even look at God.

I think we are here talking in code somewhat. Therefore.....Stephen you know that "if" we took
it out of the context of "men or woman" which we should because both men and woman have
the same bible that teaches us how to conduct ourselves.

That includes heretics and all kinds of situations we will encounter. That should be the topic at hand
which really isnt different by gender right?

Thats the rub to me...not gender. No gender has any right to disobey scripture under any situation.
And as it says....especially to the household of faith. And even "if" you think you discern they may
not be in the faith and you treat them like the pagan or tax collector....then in that cse you "love them"
They just dont get to be invited to the slumber party friday nite.:cool:

So because the world accepts women in authority then the church should as well? Christians are not to conform to the world. We don't live by ways the world does.
