Are you a Christian weirdo?

Because I am .... Most Christians seem to take offense to the terms "Jesus Freak" or "Christian weirdo" ect. When people throw these "insults" at me I just smile because then I know that I am walking in the light, and that people can see that I am different from those who live for the world, and for themselves. So I pose the question... Do you or have you been offended by such terms as previously mentioned?

Yeah, I'd say I was too. I'm definitely not offended if anyone calls me that, it's more a badge of honor because, like you said keela, then they see the light which is in me.

But I'm a bit quirky in general, not just because I believe in the one True God in a post-modern world where truth is whatever the heck you want it to be (they mustn't think things through properly because how are all truths valid, if some truths invalidate others? - it's stupid!)

I think it's important not to feel ashamed about our faith. But at the same time, our faith is not only for personal benefit. We should be using it to glorify God. Jesus was humble and accessible to all. If by our actions, we put a wall between ourselves and those we should be winning over for The Lord, it would seem contrary to God's will. Anyway, only God knows what's in your heart and your motives. God Bless!

I'm just me, and I love the Lord so I try to glorify God in everything that I do.

Hmm, well when i came in Christ i was out of control and always happy and always talking about Christ. People called me weird and all.. and even now they says m addicted to Christ.. i kind of like that.. at last i m being known for something which is awesome, great and important than anything in this world, you should be known as his son on the earth.

I'm not walking the Christian walk to be popular with the cool kids. They say "sheep" like it's an insult, and under any other circumstance it would be. I like to think of myself as God's fool. I willfully engage in holy foolishness.

mhm. i don't take offense on those words but personally, i don't find it appropriate as well. i love it when God allows me, by His grace to be a good Light bearer. but i do not want people to name names like that.
unbelievers are blinded, we know that. The Bible says so.
and i think some of them might misunderstand it all the more when we christians are being called with such terms.
