The ministerial and spiritual gifts have not ceased and they are present even today
Although we cannot forget all the gifts are to fulfills the great commission and we cannot lose sight of that
the Holy Ghost and signs wonders and miracles are for the unbeliever
And they should always point to Jesus not the focus being around look what I did the modern day church doesn't believe in a lot of these because they have got caught away in tradition and religion
and even tongues although it edifys' you spiritualy it still builds you purpose and will in the end lead towards fuffilling the great comission

Miracles happen at my church the supernatural is operative today and the gifts are in operation today but the church try's to make an Excuse saying that they are gone but in reality they are not gone there still here but a lot of people don't believe in the baptism In the Holy Spirit which gives you access to the spiritual gifts know when you receive the Holy Spirit you have to guess but you don't have access to the gifts until you're baptized in the Holy Ghost and what you have that and then he does is he chooses that everyone has a calling on the life and anointing on the life that very few people actually witness that anointing

I would ask if the Holy Spirit is doing these great things in your church could you give us a some evidence maybe people coming out of wheel chairs, raising the dead maybe the blind recovering there sight. I do believe in the power of GOD and I have seen it first hand. That being said I have seen churches with this whole feelings and laughing and marching around in circles to bring down the walls of Jericho again all a emotional rollercoaster ride usually ending with we need money. I ask because I have seen a lot of fake things as well so how do you know if what is going on in your church is real thanks
Your being overbearing in your quest to prove your dogma about the gifts. No one is talking about the what the apostles did, we are talking about the gifts given to the body and the function of those gifts or the complete ceasing of all of them. You have given no reasonable explanation of the ceasing of all the gifts given to the church. There is even a gift of helps in 1 Corinthians 12:28. Do you recognize that gift of 'helps' (antilempsis) in the local assembly as one that comes alongside with careful attention to ministered to the saints or has that ceased as well? In that same verse we have the gift of governments (kubernesis) pertaining to guides that steer in the right direction members of the flock of the local church such as deacons and elders and mature believers who have good and sound doctrine. Are these also illegitimate gifts that have ceased from being administered to members of the body?

I do believe they have happened Coconut .... with my entire heart and being. And I wasn't there to witness them. So you are incorrect in labelling me a doubting Thomas. What I don't believe is people who claim to have the same power and authority today that was granted by God to His chosen apostles and prophets of old at the onset of establishing Christ's church. My unbelief (as you call it) in the claims of many pentecostals and charismatics has absolutely ZERO bearing on my faith and trust in Jesus Christ. I neither seek nor need a sign or wonder from my God. I am confident and assured in Whom I have believed, my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Do you think God will withhold any good thing from one such as me ?

a gifted pastor who was raised in the faith and lived and lives a godly life. he is fully qualified according to scripture, by virtue of his godly life and home, and able due to years of hard work and study.
he has shown himself approved, and he need not be ashamed.
he is fully equipped. he is our servant! he cares for us. he is the least among us.
i see elders who give of their time and love to serve the flock and help. they consider themsleves lesser than we are.
they serve us. they care for us.
i see all the people doing what needs to be done when it needs to be done.
i see some give money; some give time; some pray; some cut the lawn; some work with the municipality; some teach bible study; some make coffee; some teach the kids; some help with ppl's income tax; some do the shopping; some manage local missions....
like....what do you want me to say? not good enough? i need miracles or signs or whatever?
i don't....i just don't.
look what Paul was telling Pastor Timothy (who for some reason though Paul who could raise a dead kid and heal the sick, didn't heal Timothy's tummy troubles):

WEll there is Holy laughter cause i have recieved this before and trust me it wasnt emotions because i didnt even know nor understand the purpose of why i was laughing i even tried to stop laughing
in the western churchs people being raised from the dead dosent happen that much one because alot of them dont believe they can do it or they preach against it or they just havent had the circumstances to pray for someone to come back from the dead and even so not everone will come back from the dead that one will pray for i believe in being led by the spirit in the use of all spiritual Gifts because they should strictally be used by the leading of the Holy Ghost even when u pray in tongues it edify's one spiritually
know my pastor dosent stress about tithes a and offerings he does however give a little portion of scripture and teaches but He only does this once in a service one time the spirit Of God started moving and we worshipped the whole service and didnt even ask for tiths and offerings
and the reason i know is Conformation from God God placed me in the church that i am suppose to be in when i got saved about a month after i got a spiritual warfare bible and then later on that day one of my good brothers told me that i was going to be a person to free people and later on after i went threw delieverance the 2nd of january i was invited to go to the upper room church and so i went and later on i found out that my pastor contributed to my bible then rodney howard browne came to our church in revival and then i recieved a full bible scholar ship the first night after giving an offering prompted by the Holy Ghost and then just 2 weeks ago my pastor on the only nights im able to go on tuesdays announces that He has started a school of ministry called spirtual warfare school of ministry and my bible is a spiritual waRFare bible

lol me again quit forgetting that i need to add stuff
now i dont know if my pastor has raised anyone from the dead but he has the Spirit of Revival and also He has been to the nations his Spiritual father is morris cerillo i dont know to much about everything he has done but i do know these few things
