I think that would be a good(better) idea. Each of us has , by reason of being in a democracy and enjoying the benefits that come with it , should vote and have your say in what ever business is on the go . A fine for NOT doing that seems a reasonable decision. Just sayin.

In your first sentence you joined “maintenance” with salvation. Salvation is from the Lord.(through grace), anything else ( or added ) is from man , who must insert some limitations on grace.
