Fact#1: Jesus was not born on 25 December
Fact#2: He was born in September
Fact#3: I couldn't care less about Christmas :)
Fact#4: I will not judge you if you are touched by Christmas
Fact#5: God is clear He hates our appointed feast days so we can figure out if He likes Christmas
Fact#6: I can do with a turkey sandwich about now :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:
A turkey sandwich with stuffing is good too. I'm talkin' 'bout tomato and mayo here too. Maybe on a toasted bun.

Popcorn was invented by Native Americans who by some accounts, whose practices, while containing spiritual aspects, were pagan in general Microwave popcorn is definitely pagan though.
Well... nobody's perfect.

Pagan Christmas zombie thread, back from the graaaaaaaaave!

zombiesanta.jpg

We haven't had many "Christmas is pagan!" threads this year. In fact we haven't had ANY in some forums. So we must resort to the Halloween tradition of digging up zombie threads to fill the gap.

Jeremiah

10 Hear what the Lord says to you, people of Israel. 2 This is what the Lord says:

“Do not learn the ways of the nations
or be terrified by signs in the heavens,
though the nations are terrified by them.
3 For the practices of the peoples are worthless;
they cut a tree out of the forest,
and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel.
4 They adorn it with silver and gold;
they fasten it with hammer and nails
so it will not totter.
5 Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field,
their idols cannot speak;
they must be carried
because they cannot walk.
Do not fear them;
they can do no harm
nor can they do any good.”

What ya been up to?

Seriously interested in what you have been busy with. We haven't done diddly squat yet. Everything was postponed because of the cold. You know how we southerners are about cold... Everyone had to stay home and babysit the water pipes lest they freeze. We won't have our Christmas until this Saturday.

0h you see, we in Massachusetts have been blessed this year for some reason while Florida is freezing.
‘We got like 50 degree weather in a few days. Now it’s in the 20-30s but still … we are used to it.
I was busy with a busy church schedule and a lot of people in my house for the last couple of days.

Christ is born!
I hope you all get thawed soon.

This is legit what southern people do when it freezes and snows, from looking for the ice scraper we had once (when do we ever use it, eh?) to leaving water dripping to buying bread and milk.
