Honestly I don't have enough hard facts to fully say yes or no, but as for now I believe I was told that animals don't have souls, and our body and spirit dont go to heaven our souls do.

Personally I think Jaws just had a bad toothache. I also believe that not everything that happens has been put in the bible. Just because it isn't in the bible doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I have no doubts that our animals go to heaven. In fact I believe most animals are closer to God than we are! Who is to say an animal doesn't have a soul? Who is to say he doesn't know the God who created him? I believe God has been put in a box and he can do anything he wants. And he doesn't need our permission. Nor does everything have to be in the Bible that he does. Yes, we have dominion othese. nimals. I hunt for food. And every deer I get, I pray it will be in heaven. I even accidentley ran over a squirrel today (roads icy, couldn't hit the breaks). And yes, I prayed God would take him into his loving arms.
Not 'everything is in the Bible, like for instance the sutras and suras, but that doesn't mean they could still be true. In matters of faith (and this thread deals with such a question) we can ONLY build on what Scripture has tot say on it, not on what we ourselves find appropriate.God's will matters, not ours. God can do whatever He wants, but He isn't fickle, He's a trustworthy God. Now we believe that ultimately we can only read His will, His define plan for creation, in His Word, in Scripture. Our own 'insights' and wishes (apart from what from what we read in our Bible) don't matter with questions as these. And since there's no scriptural basis for an afterlife for animale etc. Feel free tot believe something else, but you have tot realize that whatever belief isn't scriptural isn't christian.

Animals could be in heaven when we get there, but as far as our pets that have died I really can't see why they would be. Our reward is Heaven for accepting Christ and living a good life. Animals have no moral code to live by. Jesus did not come to save animals but man. If our pets die and go to Heaven then wouldn't that make them more favored than us? I've never seen a Christian poodle. I've never seen an atheist goldfish.

Also, if you search scripture you'll never see anything about animals being pets. It says we are to care for the animals but they're never referred to as domesticated. Dogs are mentioned 40 times and are referred to as beasts and work animals. Never a family pet. Cats are never mentioned

How would it make sense that there can be animals, but not specifically the ones we've owned? Are they not animals that could reside within the Heaven and New Earth? Would that make the ones that were there more privileged than our own current ones here? I fail to see how that makes sense...

Caring for animals, whether we domesticate them or not, doesn't have that big of a difference when commanded that we rule and look after them. Does this mean that if we never kept our pet cat or dog inside with humans, they have a better chance than the animal with minimal human contact and strays with their own kind?

There is no biblical support to say dead pets end up in Heaven. This is a subject the bible does not speak on. To assume they are is adding to the word.

'The new heaven and earth' is an eschatlogical (endtime) vision,
it's not the same as the afterlife.
