This room is looking so pretty!!!! PINK! (my daughters). To bad I have to stop but the kiddos have some summer fun classes to get to.
It's been real enjoyable today. Listening to music and now pausing the middle of a good teaching.......

I'm not in the mood for music today (had some on for a while this morn), just wanted to hear another adults voice speaking (teachings), so finally had a chance to listen while working in this pretty pink room.........

Now I'm back in a music mood (for now) because while listening to teachings today this song keeps running in my mind. Sometimes it plays on repeat. One time I had this song play for almost an hour.
If HE said it, then that's that.... it's settled.

Hey GG, what do you say we hit the dance floor for some exercise.
We can throw on the Electric Boogie and do the Electric Slide!!!
(Just kidding, I saw the video earlier and as uncoordinated as I get I'd be in trouble!)

I NEVER DID learn those dances, lol. But hey I'm up for a good dance party.
There's another one, I don't know the name and can only remember hearing it ONCE in my lifetime, lol. Middle school, a friday night dance, my bday was either sat/sun. My friends asked the dj to play a bday song. Here's what I remember:
"you gotta feel it.... it's your birthday! Boogie ooogie ooogie woogie!

In school I sat out the dance part. Not interested.
Besides, I was too shy...

I only went THIS ONE TIME b/c my friend convinced me since it was my b-day weekend and "he" was going to be there. Well, mistake 1, being "friends" with someone who really wasn't that good of a person to hang around. Mistake # 2 having a crush on "him" whose last name was "Kellogg" (yeah a lot of ppl called him "corn flake")
he wasn't Jesus.... and at that time of my life, well even though I knew of Jesus and my heart cry was to be closer to HIM, my 15y/o life poorly reflected that........
yeah the one and ONLY dance I ever went to and it really wasn't all that great..........
MOVING ON.....

I look back on some of the stupid things I did before accepting Him.
Verbally abusive girls and some really weird guys I hung out with was not prime smarts!

Yeah recently my mom was like "Oh I never liked you being around her"
and I'm like "THEN WHY DID YOU LET ME SPEND SO MUCH TIME WITH HER"
mom "Oh you two were inseparable"
and I'm like "Ok but YOU WERE the parent......."
yeah, she couldn't give me an answer to that other than "well you didn't have any friends and I wanted you to have friends"

Kinda sounds like my parents. I told them once that there were bullies bothering me.
All mom told me was "ignore them, they will go away!"
"They" didn't!!!! I put up with years of stuff...took a toll.
Sorry to vent GG. Just saying I relate!

So I'm cruising on Pinterest looking for recipes and this was in the middle of the page

So... kicking myself right now b/c we went out today, bout 45 minutes away and won a door prize. Gift card to a bar/grill in that town. It was HOT and I was tired, cranky, (my back was injured yesterday by someones horseplay which still hurts today, been hard to move) and I just couldn't wait to leave.
So we win this door prize as we're getting ready to go and I'm focused on leaving. My husbands looking it over/discussing it "I doubt we'll ever use this......" and I just blurt out "oh I'll use it when school starts again, go by myself".
Now the whole time I'm thinking the couple by us would like it, but I'm not thinking clearly and just want to go home.
We get home and I told my husband "maybe we should've given it to them" and he tells me he was going to but I said what I said..........
*HEAVY SIGH* now I just feel even worse, like a big jerk.
I mean, I think it would have really blessed them....... (they live near it) and WHAT am I going to do with it now??????
Even if I were to take a day when the kids are back at school and go..... it won't be enjoyable, actually just the thought of it makes me feel like I'm robbing someone.
I don't know what to do with it now........
