In a sticky situation I usually write out my response, then sleep on it before I post it. So no, I've never reported my own post :)

...... has anyone ever reported themselves before ... how hilarious would that be?
I've wanted to.

I don't like getting upset so l don't read my posts anymore.
I have myself on my ignore list.

Old school here. (And I can go older than this because I used a manual typewriter back in grade school), but I have a desktop, so... what do you do? Type it out, never turn off your computer and then first thing in the morning hit "Post Quick Reply?"
A. That really kills the whole "quick" thingy.
B. I'm not awake in the morning, so I'd have less of an idea if it's a good idea to post it in the morning, than even posting it at night.

And notice. I'm going to post this in the afternoon, so, apparently, my brain really never does work well any time of day.

I save it in a Word Document :). And, "sleep on it" was somewhat figurative...let it sit for an hour or so was more what I meant. Though, I have literally slept on it before :) And yes, it is no longer instant...but if the opportunity is past, I assume that I wasn't meant to say what I was going to say. :)

LOL ok sooooo this is a random thought ... but I am very compulsive ... so much so, sometimes I have already written something and posted it, gone offline and returned later ... before thinking it through ... after reading it, i've discovered it may be borderline lol ... has anyone ever reported themselves before ... how hilarious would that be?

(One of hubby's favorite jokes, but he's not here, so I'm using it.)

I have one of those on my bathroom mirror. It says John on it, so I remember my name first thing in the morning.

(Hubby's not here, so I just became John.

And I thought you probably used your phone and there was an app for that too.

Can I be as mature as you are when I grow up?

That's what my desk looks like at work, plus a calendar to remember what day
of the week it is. Lol

Funny thing is, I have told my aunts date of birth to so many medical staff when they
have asked. That last week when I was asked for mine, I told them hers.ie born in 1935.
I just got a funny look. Lol
